I walked in to visit him on his first day there and found the paperwork laying on table on the other side of the room! He also had some medical issues that needed to be addressed and the nursing staff blew him off on multiple occasions. I am a Registered Nurse and despite multiple requests to call the doctor for a chronic skin condition, the nurses caring for him would not call the doctor to get an order for the medication used to treat it. Their solution was to apply moisture barrier cream to his face that caused further irritation and burned his skin! They kept applying it knowing full well that it was making it worse. He had an open and draining rash on his face and as a result, he developed a bad infection! Unbelievable! I only gave the 1 star because it would not accept my review without a star rating. There are many facilities that provide excellent care with caring staff. Do NOT send your loved one to Elm Terrace!

Just needed an alternative to the trustee I selected. I paid this woman $350 and explained specifically what I was looking for. She spent three hours trying to convince me that a corporate trustee was not the way to go. She recommended a private fiduciary. I was open to suggestions but she didn't offer any names. Told me she would email me the names of dome private fiduciaries. In a nutshell, when I never got the email, I called her. She kept me on the phone, for about 40 minutes, again trying to convince me this was the way to go, but still had no names to offer. She sent me a piece of scrap paper a week or so later, in an envelope, which had nothing usable on it for me- no " Private" fiduciaries, just names of a business I already told her I had checked into and was not interested in, and the names of two women who do bill paying services ONLY for clients in Delaware county, which I don't live in. No indication on their site that they are fiduciaries or that they do trustee work. This attorney then sent me a bill for $500 for the phone-call I made to her, asking for the names and some other trumped up fee for something that made no sense. I called her billing person, and explained the situation. She, said that she would talk to this attorney and explain my complaint. She said she would get back to me in a week. Three weeks later, I called again. She hadn't yet spoken to the lawyer. A week or two after, the lawyer agreed to cut the new bill by 25%. There was no explanation for the made up charges. It was a big waste of my tome. Stay away from Rosemary Ferrino. She has no integrity.

I tried to get them some water, but no one was around that could help. Went to the nurse's station to get someone to come help change them and maybe get some water and was snapped at , told someone would be down to help them as soon as they could. There were employees all around the nurses station but not one could look like they cared enough to help. This place needs the dept of health to come visit. It's very unsanitary here. Let alone I saw medication on the floor , a couple pills in the hallway to their room. whoever they were for obviously didn't get them ... anyone could have found it and taken them if they wanted to. They did not come to change my friend for over an hour after I brought it to their attention. This is beyond bad. This place needs shut down to be honest. The food that they serve, is it even food??? I can not wait until my friend gets let out of here. Neglect and abuse is rampant. They should be ashamed of themselves!
