1 Star - Poor Communication, Excessive Delays, and Questionable Charges. I recently had my 2004 Honda VTX1300 serviced at Synergy Motor Works, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Before dropping the bike off, I was told the diagnostic process would take approximately 2 days and repairs would be completed in 2 weeks. Instead, the bike remained in the shop for nearly 5 weeks. The first issue was communication. During those 5 weeks, I received virtually no proactive updates. I had to call the shop weekly, each Tuesday, myself to find out what was going on. After about two weeks, I was finally informed that the air box needed replacement. However, no price was ever provided for the part or repair. While I admit I should have specifically asked for a quote, I expected a repair facility to communicate costs before proceeding. What really raised concerns was the conflicting information regarding the air box. One week I was told the part was expected to arrive Thursday or Friday. The following week, when I called again, I was told the part had actually been shipped on that Thursday. Those timelines simply didn't add up and left me questioning whether the part had even been ordered when I was originally told. The most disappointing interaction occurred when I politely pointed out the inconsistency and mentioned that my motorcycle had already been in the shop for over four weeks. Rather than addressing the concern, I was immediately told, "You're welcome to come get it as is." That response felt unprofessional and dismissive of a customer who had remained calm and patient throughout the entire process. When I finally received the invoice, I was shocked: Diagnostic Fee: $145.00 Oil Change: $162.70 Inspection: $72.50 Air Box Replacement: $337.96 Spark Plugs: $108.30 Total Invoice: $876.31 I was particularly confused by being charged both a diagnostic fee and a separate inspection fee. Additionally, the air box replacement charge seemed excessive considering OEM air box components can be found online for a fraction of that amount. After nearly 5 weeks in the shop, minimal communication, conflicting information, and a bill approaching $900 for what amounted to an oil change, spark plugs, and an air box replacement, I left feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. Everyone makes mistakes, and I've certainly learned to insist on written estimates and part pricing before authorizing repairs. Hopefully this review helps someone else avoid the same experience. Buyer beware. Ask for detailed estimates, parts pricing, and completion timelines in writing before leaving your vehicle. I ended up paying $500 for an oil change. The initial oil change was $153, and the dipstick barely had the minimum amount of oil, so I asked them to add more, which they did. When I got home, my clothes were covered in oil because they put the oil fill cap on incorrectly, and it got lost along the way. Oil was also leaking from the engine. The next day I brought it in for "warranty," the owner just accused me, insulted me, and yelled at me. I asked him to check it because it was leaking oil everywhere. They kept it in their shop for 15 days, and when they returned it, they charged me $300 to repair what they did wrong. I also had to buy the cap they had put on incorrectly. Took my bike there for service mostly because when I had it serviced at Tulsa Power Sports recently, they kept it for 7 weeks and did not perform some of the necessary work. So I decided to try Synergy. Got it back with all work well done in 2 weeks and most of that was waiting for factory parts. When I got there to pick it up they had detailed it. I live in Pennsylvania, and have not been to this business in person, but I placed an order over the phone with Ryan for a Royal Enfield Touring Seat (I tried ordering it from my local dealer on March 5th, and they said it was on backorder, and they had no clue when it would come in). Ryan had it in stock, and shipped it to my home, for a price lower than my local dealer, (and I would have had to drive 90 minutes round-trip to go pick it up from my local dealer also, so I saved money, time, and gas/wear & tear on my vehicle). Update: The next day the owner made contact with me. He apologized for how the employee handled the situation and said he will make it right. He asked me to bring the wheel back so he can see what needed to be done. Turns out the wheel was not able to be repainted, therefore he said he would purchase a new wheel. He ordered the new wheel and called me when it was in. I was impressed with how the owner handled the situation, he was very aplogetic and made it right. I would not hesitate to take more work there. I dropped of my wheel and new tire for mount and balance. When I picked it up the wheel was scratched up. When I asked about it the counter guy said it happens and told me 40.00. Thats right I still had to pay them and now I have to get my wheel powder coated. read more

Owner, Ryan has issues with trying to bully people with his dirty mouth, told my husband and I to get the f off his property, he wasn't going to work on it. He needs to be shut down as you do not treat people like that. Called us everything you can think of, even told us we couldn't afford his services. So update finally got through on the phone and found out my tire was there and ready. As the owner started to cuss me out for asking about my tire if it's ready. So went down on lunch as I get off after they close. Soon as I walk in greeted by owner with more nice words. Tells me oh we only accept cash. So got the money came right back to pay. After I give him my money for the tire. Then tells me I need to get out of the store not giving me my tire or my money back. Comes around the counter walking out behind the wall with his gun drawn on me telling me to leave I get nothing. I did not leave tools him give me my money or my tire. After 3 or 4 times cocking his gun on my chest telling me to leave and didn't. Finally called the chips and walked out to wait for them before he shoots me. For coming to pay for my tire. Very odd that you want to take a customers money and wheel pull a gun on them then tell them to leave they are trespassing. To top it off tpd let him go even though I had a video of the encounter and he stated he was recording in the store and his phone was on record also. Yet tpd said not enough evidence and let him walk free. There are several places to buy a motorcycle in Tulsa but their really is only one place to go for a great used bike. Synergy has a large selection of uses bikes with low miles at a great price. I've been buying bikes from them for the last 5 years and their service is great and I've never had an issue with one of their bikes. They have fast oil change service and he owner Ryan always goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied. As a bonus they are active in the community and help with charity events. read more

So I received a discount on my helmet and Bluetooth because I am a veteran and when I went to pick the helmet up the owner would not hold to the deal. He was very rude and kicked me out of his shop. I do not recommend this place. The owner was swearing and yelling at me. The discount was only $20. When I told him I would pay full price he said no and that he was going to fire the employee that gave me the discount. I did call the owner a name because he told me he was going to fire the employee. That is when the owner lost control and started swearing and yelling at me. He told me to get the F out so I waited outside for him to bring me my helmet. I did apologize for offending him but it seemed like that made him more mad. read more

Worst customer service!!!!!!!!! I own and operate a company and understand with wait time due to delays and pandemic. Dropped off 2 dirt bikes to be serviced. Called next week they say oh we are three weeks out no biggie deal. So I call end of three weeks and they say now next week call back over a week later and say just got handles in. Come in next day very polite asked if they are ready the main guy with a beard walks up says there not ready. So I simply said that's understandable and went to describe what I'd been told he yells at cashier grab his bike and parts take them out front! Worst customer service I've ever seen. I was passing through Tulsa on my way back to the East Coast on a cross country and back motorcycle trip. My front tire was cupping oddly and I wanted to get a second opinion on how much further the tire could safely make it. Ryan, the general manager, came right out and gave me his advice. I also asked about help with putting air in the tires and a chain adjustment. The guys at Synergy hooked me up and dropped their knowledge on me about helmets and tires while I waited. Took my 2007 Vulcan 2000 in for noise in gearcase. It was the last day of February, I finally got it back in late April or early May, can't remember. Ryan said the compensator was worn. Got it home, noise was still there along with silicone gasket maker still showing on cover because they didn't bother to clean it off, and now my bike leaks oil. It never leaked before. So to recap, they didn't fix the problem I took it in for, it obviously has been tore into thanks to excess silicone not being cleaned off, and leaking oil from oil drain plug. Ryan gave me some weird story about not liking the drain plug so they installed a different one..... weird. Long story short, I would not trust them to work on my wheel barrow. read more

I'm only given this place one star because I can't give it a zero because a personal good friend of mine took his motorcycle in to have a tire replaced he didn't even have the bike back at his house for 12 hours went out the next morning to check his bike flat tire. Called Synergy Motorworks until dim they told him for an additional cost they will look over and figure out what's going on. I personally had an experience with them where I went in to look at a seat for a motorcycle and they were telling me it was the right seat for my bike but it did not fit my bike line had too much of a gap under the seat and they were very very not helpful they are not the type of people unless you walk in there with a million dollars or you look like a sport biker they're not willing to help you so they want to line their pockets with other people's money and charge you out the butt for stuff you can get cheaper elsewhere read more

BUYERS BEWARE! DO NOT TRUST SYNERGY MOTORWORKS! I bought a KX450 and took it to Synergy to have the carburetor and whole bike gone through in May and after they had it for 3 weeks and $375.00 later, I took it out to ride and it would not run. Kept dying every 3 to five minutes. I called them and they said to just bring it back in and they would get it running and apologized for not getting it right the first time. I took it back to them a week and half ago and was told that it was ready for pickup yesterday. I arrive to pick it up and Zach tells me that I owe another $230.00. I informed him that the guy I had dealt with the first time said to bring it back in and they would fix it because it wasn't fixed correctly the first time. Zach called the owner and would not let me speak to him. I was told that I owed the $230.00 and that they couldn't do anything about it. I called my attorney and he said that it would cost more to file the paperwork and court costs to get my bike back so I paid the additional $230.00 which brought my total up to $605.00. I told them that I would not accept it until their mechanic started it and showed me that it was running and not dying. After one of their mechanics or whatever he was threw a fit about not being to start it because he was too short I was able to start it but it was still dying. I spoke to Zach again and he said that they went through the carburetor and there was something missing so they replaced it with a part costing $23.00. I informed him that I had brought it in the first time to have the carburetor gone through and whole bike checked because it had been sitting for a year. He informed me that according to their records they didn't even do any carburetor work even though I was told they did. They are very unprofessional and the owner does not stand behind their work or his employees word. The employee that I had dealt with the first time and who told me to bring it back in and they would fix it at no charge is conveniently not with them any longer. The only thing good about Synergy Motorworks is an intern named Dylan who was very apologetic and helpful. So, after all of this my KX450 is still not running correctly and dying. Terrible place! (Please read all of this story.) I had heard good things about these guys but, dealing with them was the worst experience I have ever had with a bike shop. I took a boulevard there to have a K&N air filter, cobra tuner, and rear tire installed; also, to have an oil change while it was there. Almost a week passes and I don't hear anything from them, so I call and they are not done yet. The representative tells me that the cobra tuner I brought them was faulty, but that they were done with everything else, and just needed some more time to mess with the tuner. Now I paid $400 for this brand new tuner, but can except that sometimes electrical/mechanical parts are faulty. I give them a day or two more and call on the morning of the day it was supposed to be finished. Now I am told that it was having the oil changed (but I thought the representative told me on the phone that they had everything done but the tuner??). Later in the day I make an unannounced visit, and the bike is ready. I am told that the tuner was bad, and that they took the tuner out, and put the bike back the way it was. I also find out that they already collected the payment from my fiance, who went behind my back and paid the bill as an anniversary gift. I start the bike and ride away realizing immediately that I only have about half the power I should have. I return to the shop to ask what the problem is, and am told that they found an issue in my bike that was already there, and that someone in the past had "rigged" the bike to bypass this issue, and this power loss must be stemming from that. Interesting that they didn't tell me this until I return and ask what is wrong with my bike. They also tell me that it's running in "limp mode" and after turning the bike off and on it should reset itself. I ride the bike that night and it never "resets" itself. I return to the shop the next morning. I approach the owner and say "we need to talk, and I want to be diplomatic as possible, but you guys messed up my bike, and you need to fix it". The owner immediately gets defensive and starts to raise his voice at me in front of his employees. I ask him why he is getting so defensive and that I am trying to talk to him. He proceeds to yell at me and kicks me out of the store stating that if I don't get myself and my piece of s#@t bike out of there he was going to have me trespassed. Now remember I have not so much as raised my voice to him. Not wanting to deal with the police I leave the building and go stand by my bike and car. Where I make a call and ask a couple coworkers to come help me get the bike and car home. While I am waiting outside, the owner comes outside and starts again, yelling and cussing at me. Now I am a prospect for a Christian Club and was wearing my cut at the time. He starts to mock my cut. I tell him that I am a changed man and am part of a Christian Motorcycle Club. He laughs at me and says "we can take our shirts of and throw blows right now, and i'll beat your f#$@ing a@s!" Of course he is like 30 feet away form me when he says it. Just for the record Ryan! I come from a very rough background, wrestled and boxed for years and would have killed you boy! You are lucky that I am trying to be a different person these days. He tells me to get my car and bike off his property or he will call the cops, so I move them. Now my bike doesn't work, and my fiance is out $750. I believe that they damaged my cobra tuner. I asked for a good tire, like a metzler or something like that, and he installed a shinko. They never called me to discuss things with me.
