Pickup was quick but the food was very average. Hakka noodles were too thick and fried rice was very dry. Szechuan chicken was not very good. Soup was decent. Gobi manchurian pieces were too big and not crunchy. Overall not very impressive food.

Indo Chinese food after ages! Pro-tip: they have their own parking lot. We were a party of 5, went there for my wife's birthday dinner. She hadn't had American Chopsey for the last 10+ years and she liked it here. Service is good. We went on a Monday , it was not crowded. This is what all we ordered: Soup- Veg Man-chow; Appetizers: Paneer Chilli, Veg Momo's. Meal: American Chopsuey, Shanghai fried rice, Veg Manchurian (Gravy) I liked everything that they served! And the ambience was nice too. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting the area to try them out!

Made reservations for 8 of us for Sunday lunch, and the place was quite empty around 1 pm. We got seated on a nice large table and our hungry table started over ordering food! Within 20 minutes of ordering, delicious food started coming out of their aromatic kitchen which included 2 orders of Vegetable Momos (8 pieces at $10.95) and 2 orders of Chicken Momos (8 pieces at $10.95!), Chili Potato with Scallion ($10.95) which was on a slight sweeter side, Shredded Chicken with Red and Green Pepper ($10.95) which was enjoyed by all non-vegetarians. These appetizers were enough to fill up our tummies, but we still wanted more! We got some excellent soups which included sweet corn chicken soup ($6.95), vegetable manchow soup ($5.95), veg hot & sour soup ($5.95) - all of which were amazing. We also ordered Palak Paneer Manchurian ($13.95) which was the best dish in our order, packed with flavor! Kung Pao Fish ($15.95), Hot Garlic Chicken ($13.95) and some rice and noodles were ordered to fill up our already stuffed stomach! Service was excellent, friendly staff, and noise level was on the lower side. Definitely recommend this place for some excellent Indo-Chinese food!

Wow! This place was amazing. A friend and I ordered in from this restaurant and the food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the vegetable noodles, the chilli chicken wings and the chicken with pepper. Everything was well made and delicious. The wings were my absolute favorite - they were breaded and fried and tossed in this amazing spicy chili oil sauce. The noodles were delicious and had the distinct wok smoky flavor which I love. The chili chicken with peppers was just the right amount of saucy and spicy. I'm so happy to have uncovered this gem in JC. I was craving spicy food and this place absolutely lived up to the hype. I will most definitely be coming here again. We also called and asked and they are also halal, which is only an added plus. Highly recommend their food!!

We were there to celebrate a special event. it was Monday night so there was not any rush. we settled ourselves and ordered a few appetizers and drinks Chicken Lollypop- I thought it would be semi-gravy but it was dry. upon asking they are like- 'we serve it this way'... still, it was not good except for the sauce which comes with that :D Shredded Chicken with pepper: Spicy- Crunchy and perfect spicy. 4/5 Chicken Tom yum Soup - 2/5 - nothing to say here Chicken Szechuan Fried Rice - though I asked for spicy and I understand they prepare it in a generic way to consider 'other' patrons - it was not spicy at all and I could not eat it by itself, it was that dry, so ordered chili chicken and even it was not good- big chunk rubbery pieces in it - It should be soft. you can't just prepare gravy in 2 minutes and put chicken pieces from the bowl and serve. Mixed Szechuan Noodles Chicken Hakka Noodle mixed and Hakka noodles - can't differentiate both except mixed has shrimp pieces in it. both taste the same, but it was great. Ambiance- it was beautiful and moreover very neat & clean. most of the restaurants on Indian street - I can't say the same Service- it was good Parking- they provide their own parking, just adjacent to the building Portion size- it's good. overall 3/5. my expectation was something else. except for noodles, it was all okissh.

We went here on a night when we craved indo Chinese food and must say it does great justice to the cuisine It has a nice ambiance and is clean compared to the other restaurants in the street We ordered chicken lollipop , american chopsuey and noodles. I liked the sauce but found the lollipop flavor average One of the few places where I ve seen chopsuey in the menu. American chopsuey was really good. We ordered the schezuan noodles as well which had right amount of spice and flavor Recommend for anyone craving indo Chinese . Would go back to try some of their other dishes

I actually started with 4 stars. Intimate looking large restaurant, not sure where parking is. Seems like parking can be a bit difficult in this pet of the neighborhood. I came around early dinner on Friday & it was just one other sit in diner but lots of food delivery services ringing. Because of Yelp buddies photos from this place, the name Momo stuck out to me & want to try! They look like dumplings but are differently fashioned with Indian spices I believe. The sauce is orange & chutney like but not sweet. Kinda curry-ish & I preferred to have the table soy sauce for the momo dip. To accompany my small appetite I got a sweet corn chicken soup. Not as "sweet corn" ish as I imagined, just tastes like regular corn. Anyways, I found a thin hair in the bottom of the Momo dumpling pan & was told by the Asian looking lady that she will give me a new order comp'd to go which was very nice! If ever in the area again, without any other better choices, I might come for their lunch specials particularly the gobi manchurian! However when I got home to open the lightly weighted to go bag it was only the 2 leftover dumplings I didn't eat which were both with the hair!

Trusting the good reviews, decided to give this place a try for Indian Chinese food. But everything was OK, not great not bad, just OK. Ordered fried rice, hakka noodles, schezwan chicken and Veg Manchurian. Food was bland and lacked a punch. Do not plan on ordering again.

I found this place on a delivery app, and was excited to see an Indo-Chinese place! I've ordered here a couple times now and it's pretty solid. First time I got the chicken momo (pretty good), sweet corn chicken soup (delicious & creamy), chicken Hakka noodles (very good), and mango lassi (I was surprised to see this was sealed with a plastic film like they do at bubble tea places, but it was good). The 2nd time I got the soup & mango lassi again, and decided to try the chicken pineapple fried rice and sweet & sour shrimp--not bad but it was too sweet, especially those 2 together both with pineapple etc. I also tried the fried chicken wontons which were crispy & pretty tasty but very small. Overall a pretty good experience so far and I will try them again when I feel like having Indo-Chinese food!

The ongoing pandemic has definitely taken a toll on a lot of businesses and public places since a consumer's mindset to buy anything outside of essentials or to visit a public place like a park or beach, has crippled down significantly. Now by living with what has become the new normal, it is commendable on how these businesses and public places continue to remain open and cater to the general public by following the safety standards. It is now all the more important that we as customers, support these heroes during these dark hours to mankind. Being in NJ, we have been spoilt for choice eating just Indian for most of the time. We wanted to try something different and picked Szechuan Mirchi, because we wanted to try Indo-Chinese. I'm a big fan of manchurian while my wife, of Hakka noodles. So we ordered a carry out for Gobi manchurian, fried wontons, Hakka noodles and Veg momos. We got there on time and the food was already ready. The person at the counter was busy with another order on phone and I decided to take pictures of the place. It was a shame that a beautiful place did not have customers filling the tables. The food was absolutely fantastic and delicious. The quantity was good enough for each dish and worth every penny that was charged. They even provided us with complimentary rice, little boxes of different sauces and even two guava candies. We are so glad we picked this place that didn't disappoint us and look forward to returning here for trying out rest of their delicacies.

A Decade of Love on a Plate: A Local Favorite That Punches Above Its Weight…read more This place is the definition of a neighborhood gem--the kind you almost want to keep secret, yet can't stop yourself from praising. Cheap and cheerful on the surface, it punches way above its weight class, delivering inventive, clean, Asian-inspired food that's masterfully cooked by clearly skilled hands--and made with real love. I've been coming back year after year for most of this restaurant's 10-year lifespan, and that consistency is no accident. Every dish tastes intentional, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying, with a clear goal: to feed people love on a plate. It's a super veggie/vegan friendly that easily wins over even my "meat and potatoes" husband--who happily cleans his plate every time. In an era where genuine hospitality feels increasingly rare, Perry single-handedly restored my faith that quality service is not extinct. Warm, attentive, and authentically kind, Perry makes every guest feel seen, welcome, and cared for--without pretense or attitude. This is food that nourishes, service that uplifts, and a place that keeps you coming back not just for the flavors, but for how it makes you feel. A true neighborhood treasure.

If you're looking for good flavorful food options, this has got to be on your "must try" list, I genuinely do not think you'll be disappointed. I ordered the blueberry lemon iced tea, maitake mushroom medley with the option of udon noodles & added chicken, the coconut curry with the option of ramen noodles and the rice pudding with caramel sauce for dessert. First things first, my absolute FAVORITE thing about this restaurant is the food contains no GMO's no preservatives, pink Himalayan salt to season and NO REFINED sugars- only agave and palm sugar to sweeten. I WISH I would've known about this spot sooner JUST for that detail alone. I am always on the hunt for a place that offers refined sugar free options, and with that comes this level of safety knowing what I am consuming has a heath standard/holistic approach to meet and me not having to feel guilty or worrisome after a meal. Absolute 10/10 in that aspect. I saw a few reviews mention the blueberry lemon iced tea, as someone not even a fan of lemonade I decided to give it a try. Let's just say, I was slow sipping my drinks to not finish it all and avoid getting another in the same sitting lol. It's well balanced, not sour, blueberry flavor is present and knowing it's sweetened with agave led to guilt free pleasure. Would recommend everyone to try it, even if you're not a fan of lemonade like I am. Another mention, lemonade tends to make my throat dry, due to its sourness and tanginess and that didn't happen at all. Think the blueberry was more prominent than the lemon, it was really enjoyable. The curry ramen was a highlight! If your a fan of curry, I think you def have got to try this. I actually didn't get it (my partner did) because I didn't wanna be let down, but it was absolutely delicious. I got the maitake medley udon noddles with added chicken and what a blast of flavor. It had veggies, mushrooms, chicken, udon, eggs, kimchi and was extremely flavorful. I was very surprised that each element of the dish had its own flavor and spice that really jumped out, but paired well together. The least favorite thing for me on this platter was the eggs. Just your standard egg, I'm a fan of soy-marinated eggs on my noodles and not a fan of regular boiled eggs, but they are always an added protein plus! One honorary note, is the kimchi. I like kimchi, don't love it, but this was the best kimchi I have ever had. I even ordered a side to go. Another cool thing is the food is cooked fresh, right in front of you. Tbh, we were the only ones in there at 6 PM and food took quite a while, but I appreciate and prefer freshness over quickness always. The rice pudding is light and the homemade refunded sugar-free caramel addition makes it so much better. As there were only two options of dessert on the menu (rice pudding & matcha ice cream) I decided to give it a go although I'm not really a fan of rice pudding. Was it amazing? No. Would I get it again? Possibly. This place was on the pricier side I would say. My bowl of maitake mushroom w/chicken (added chicken being a $6.50 dollar up charge) was $34. Worth it for that price point? Not really, but good none the less. I also ordered a small side of kimchi (the small clear containers) and that was $7 which I think is crazy, but also it was good. For a better price point, I might've asked for a jar lol. Customer service- the workers were nice, but not really personable, which I don't really care for much, but bringing this up because there was this sense that maybe I shouldn't be in there or they just possibly didn't want to work. I tipped nonetheless, but for being the only couple or people in there I thought we would be greeted by everyone, just a simple acknowledgement, but it felt more like we were bothering them by walking in. I understand that people have their days and you have no clue what someone is going through personally, but it was distinct enough to mention- especially as someone who never really comments on the customer service aspect. I see through it cuz the food was great! Something about it was also just a let down, but I can't put my finger on it. Although it was good, I don't see myself frequenting this place. Maybe the price point is deterring me, but I do think it's worth a try!

I want to give this place a stellar review - but alas, with the items that I have gotten, I cannot. I've ordered from Dumpling Dojo a few times and have gotten different things each time. Their menu is filled with delicious-sounding entrees that have a unique spin, different from typical Chinese places. In addition, all the food is definitely made fresh using real ingredients. So what's the problem? Well...they do not season some of their food items properly - specifically, the sides / veggie entrees. The best thing about typical Chinese food restaurants is the preparation and sauce that goes along with the food - and as someone who does not cook their own Chinese food, I look forward to the sticky-sweet, savory flavors that Chinese-American food is associated with. I find that Dumpling Dojo lacks that. On the plus side, their General Tso's chicken is some of the best I've ever had - and their dumplings are solid. Not amazing, but solid (although I liked them better crisped up in the air fryer the next day). But the other things I've had just simply lacked flavor. For example, I ordered their veggie fried rice and found it incredibly bland and mushy. It was great heated up and doctored, but I want that experience out of the gate. I also ordered their lomein veggie bowl - man, what a disappointment! Basically, I received a container of steamed vegetables and boiled noodles - no sauce or anything. Again, if I put my own spin on it, it would be fine - but when I order out, I don't want to season my own food. It should be prepared as it. Also, I had the short rib buns and they were ok. The sweet potato fry topper was really stale and stiff, and the coleslaw seemed droopy and old - but it was fine. The delivery has also always come very quick, which is a plus as well. However, I don't want to order from a place where the food is hit-and-miss.
