Super happy to have a Korean chicken spot open up in Jersey City since it's a craving I often have, but I was left disappointed with the flavors. Ordered the soy garlic and sweet chili wings. Both flavors were very weak and lacked sauce. The breading on the other hand was crisp. They also packaged it in a reusable tote bag which was super neat. I would give this place a few more months to settle in and adjust their recipes before trying again.

Really wanted to love it. Ordered plain chicken and takoyaki. Takoyaki good but the korean fried chicken which should be the real thing came with no taste at all. Ordered the plain ones and they were not even seasoned... not sure if something happened to the kitchen that day because it was def crunchy and delivered hot.

I was craving some sort of Korean food and I found this on Yelp! We got the Tukbokki, soy garlic chicken Korean tacos, soy garlic strips, and sweet potato fries. I definitely recommend trying the soy garlic strips because it tastes amazing. I liked the sweet potato fries and tukbokki! I wasn't a fan of the korean tacos- the chicken was sort of bland and had way too much sauce. The place itself is clean and has some seating area. I came to pick up in the afternoon on a Saturday and they weren't super busy. The staff in the front was quick to get my order, but didn't seem too friendly.

Wings and Drums Combo - except I got the opposite of what was described--- Only 4 Wings and 10 Drumsticks.

Decided on some Korean fried chicken wings for dinner last night for the first Thursday night football game. I ordered the Medium Wings and Drums combo which is supposed to come with 10 Wings and 4 Drumsticks. What I got was the opposite- 4 Wings and 10 Drumsticks ?!!!! Disappointed because we wanted more wings.... But overall the chicken was NOT dry and the soy garlic flavor was good and not too salty.

I ordered a large catering order from Kimchi guys for a company meeting, and it was INCREDIBLE! David Lee, the owner, was super accommodating and helped me order an appropriate amount for ~70 people for a "sampler plate" of everything on a Friday afternoon, talking me through all my options and helping me select the right foods. 1. Food was absolutely phenomenal, and so many employees gave raving compliments. We ordered vegetable mandu & beef mandu, Tteokbokki with Gochujang, and Kimchi - and it was all delicious. The mandu were flavorful and didn't even require a dipping sauce like so many dumplings, the Tteokbokki was spicy and chewy, and the kimchi was crunchy and amazing (their kimchi is made with Fish sauce). David (the owner) even made one order of the Tteokbokki vegan for us (without the fish cakes and cheese) without charge! 2. David was able to accommodate my last-minute order (ordered the Friday before, the event was the following Wednesday) and delivered exactly at the requested time (delivery to Chelsea in Manhattan at 3:30 PM). He texted and kept me updated, and the food was delivered hot and cleanly packaged. He made sure to tell me which items were which too so they could be labeled for allergens. 3. We had tons of leftovers and I put them out today (Thursday) for employees to take, and everything was just as tasty the next day. We immediately had a bunch of people lining up to get more once I made the announcement! All in all, this was a delicious choice and the only negative is that it isn't located closer to me! 11/10 would recommend (See some next-day photos of the amazing leftovers! Pictured is the Beef Mandu, Tteokbokki, and Kimchi)

I'm not sure what happened to my order. But I ordered 5 piece tenders and fries to see what the hype was after Bonchon closed down... and I was very disappointed in what I received for the price I had to pay. My tenders were INCREDIBLY dry, was barely any chicken, and the seasoning of soy garlic was way too salty. The fries were decent, but I just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else.

This is a new restaurant in the downtown Jersey City area. Service was fast and restaurant is well maintained. The wings were fresh, crispy, and reasonably priced. I tried the soy garlic, spicy, and sweet chili sauces and enjoyed them all. Definitely will be back to try other dishes

I had lunch here with my sister, and it was AMAZING! Very fresh, crispy, and flavorful. Next time I'm in town, I will definitely stop by. I wish they had a location on the West Coast.

This is just a cute little local restaurant owned by an auntie who is both running the kitchen, serving the customers, and helping clean up. It definitely gives off the most homey vibes. I went ahead and ordered the Bulgogi Kimchi Tofu Stew. I do not eat beef so I kindly asked if they could sub pork instead and they were happy to do so! From the moment we walked in, the owner personally seated us and ended up cooking our food himself. He has a quirky, memorable personality that adds to the charm of the whole experience. It's the kind of place where you can tell the food is made with intention rather than being rushed out of a big commercial kitchen. The dishes were packed with flavor and tasted very authentic. You can really tell the ingredients and spices are balanced the way Thai food should be -- bold, savory, a little spicy, and deeply satisfying. Everything we ordered had great texture and presentation as well. Overall, it was a unique dining experience with authentic flavors and a memorable host. If you're looking for a polished corporate restaurant this isn't it -- but if you want something personal, quirky, and genuinely delicious, Prince & I is absolutely worth visiting. A Decade of Love on a Plate: A Local Favorite That Punches Above Its Weight…read more This place is the definition of a neighborhood gem--the kind you almost want to keep secret, yet can't stop yourself from praising. Cheap and cheerful on the surface, it punches way above its weight class, delivering inventive, clean, Asian-inspired food that's masterfully cooked by clearly skilled hands--and made with real love. I've been coming back year after year for most of this restaurant's 10-year lifespan, and that consistency is no accident. Every dish tastes intentional, thoughtful, and deeply satisfying, with a clear goal: to feed people love on a plate. It's a super veggie/vegan friendly that easily wins over even my "meat and potatoes" husband--who happily cleans his plate every time. In an era where genuine hospitality feels increasingly rare, Perry single-handedly restored my faith that quality service is not extinct. Warm, attentive, and authentically kind, Perry makes every guest feel seen, welcome, and cared for--without pretense or attitude. This is food that nourishes, service that uplifts, and a place that keeps you coming back not just for the flavors, but for how it makes you feel. A true neighborhood treasure.

I've seen this restaurant circling my YELP for the last few months and put it on my "want to try"…read morelist. This place is absolutely solid! If you're looking for good flavorful food options, this has got to be on your "must try" list, I genuinely do not think you'll be disappointed. I ordered the blueberry lemon iced tea, maitake mushroom medley with the option of udon noodles & added chicken, the coconut curry with the option of ramen noodles and the rice pudding with caramel sauce for dessert. First things first, my absolute FAVORITE thing about this restaurant is the food contains no GMO's no preservatives, pink Himalayan salt to season and NO REFINED sugars- only agave and palm sugar to sweeten. I WISH I would've known about this spot sooner JUST for that detail alone. I am always on the hunt for a place that offers refined sugar free options, and with that comes this level of safety knowing what I am consuming has a heath standard/holistic approach to meet and me not having to feel guilty or worrisome after a meal. Absolute 10/10 in that aspect. I saw a few reviews mention the blueberry lemon iced tea, as someone not even a fan of lemonade I decided to give it a try. Let's just say, I was slow sipping my drinks to not finish it all and avoid getting another in the same sitting lol. It's well balanced, not sour, blueberry flavor is present and knowing it's sweetened with agave led to guilt free pleasure. Would recommend everyone to try it, even if you're not a fan of lemonade like I am. Another mention, lemonade tends to make my throat dry, due to its sourness and tanginess and that didn't happen at all. Think the blueberry was more prominent than the lemon, it was really enjoyable. The curry ramen was a highlight! If your a fan of curry, I think you def have got to try this. I actually didn't get it (my partner did) because I didn't wanna be let down, but it was absolutely delicious. I got the maitake medley udon noddles with added chicken and what a blast of flavor. It had veggies, mushrooms, chicken, udon, eggs, kimchi and was extremely flavorful. I was very surprised that each element of the dish had its own flavor and spice that really jumped out, but paired well together. The least favorite thing for me on this platter was the eggs. Just your standard egg, I'm a fan of soy-marinated eggs on my noodles and not a fan of regular boiled eggs, but they are always an added protein plus! One honorary note, is the kimchi. I like kimchi, don't love it, but this was the best kimchi I have ever had. I even ordered a side to go. Another cool thing is the food is cooked fresh, right in front of you. Tbh, we were the only ones in there at 6 PM and food took quite a while, but I appreciate and prefer freshness over quickness always. The rice pudding is light and the homemade refunded sugar-free caramel addition makes it so much better. As there were only two options of dessert on the menu (rice pudding & matcha ice cream) I decided to give it a go although I'm not really a fan of rice pudding. Was it amazing? No. Would I get it again? Possibly. This place was on the pricier side I would say. My bowl of maitake mushroom w/chicken (added chicken being a $6.50 dollar up charge) was $34. Worth it for that price point? Not really, but good none the less. I also ordered a small side of kimchi (the small clear containers) and that was $7 which I think is crazy, but also it was good. For a better price point, I might've asked for a jar lol. Customer service- the workers were nice, but not really personable, which I don't really care for much, but bringing this up because there was this sense that maybe I shouldn't be in there or they just possibly didn't want to work. I tipped nonetheless, but for being the only couple or people in there I thought we would be greeted by everyone, just a simple acknowledgement, but it felt more like we were bothering them by walking in. I understand that people have their days and you have no clue what someone is going through personally, but it was distinct enough to mention- especially as someone who never really comments on the customer service aspect. I see through it cuz the food was great! Something about it was also just a let down, but I can't put my finger on it. Although it was good, I don't see myself frequenting this place. Maybe the price point is deterring me, but I do think it's worth a try!
