I got the chicken japchae which was made fresh to order. It was served steaming hot and was pretty tasty, but I was looking for some spice. I brought my bowl up to the front expecting to find a squeeze bottle of some type of chili sauce, but was instead offered a cup of chili sauce that I'd have to pay an extra $1 for, or packets of hot sauce that wouldn't pair well. I declined since I already paid too much for my meal, but the manager (owner?) was very nice and brought a cup to my table - unfortunately this chili sauce is a sweet sauce and not a spicy sauce, so it went to waste. The storefront is very clean though and the woman behind the desk was perfectly nice, the manager was also very friendly and clearly cares a lot about customer service. They're awesome. Really consistently good food. They're really thoughtful when you order delivery. They include a bag of ice with your dinks to keep them cold on a hot day. Really anything on the menu is great but my go to's are the fried chicken sliders with fries and their veggie fried rice. Really simple. And whoever is at the fryer really knows what they're doing. By the time the fried chicken and fries arrive at my door, they're still super crunchy - you can still hear the crunch when you bite into it. Highly recommend. read more

Super happy to have a Korean chicken spot open up in Jersey City since it's a craving I often have, but I was left disappointed with the flavors. Ordered the soy garlic and sweet chili wings. Both flavors were very weak and lacked sauce. The breading on the other hand was crisp. They also packaged it in a reusable tote bag which was super neat. I would give this place a few more months to settle in and adjust their recipes before trying again. read more

Really wanted to love it. Ordered plain chicken and takoyaki. Takoyaki good but the korean fried chicken which should be the real thing came with no taste at all. I definitely recommend trying the soy garlic strips because it tastes amazing. I liked the sweet potato fries and tukbokki! I wasn't a fan of the korean tacos- the chicken was sort of bland and had way too much sauce. The place itself is clean and has some seating area. On Doordash the only choice is the lunch special, which unfortunately doesn't provide an option to order the kimchi of the title, but I strongly endorse the chicken itself. I ordered the Medium Wings and Drums combo which is supposed to come with 10 Wings and 4 Drumsticks. What I got was the opposite- 4 Wings and 10 Drumsticks ?!!!! Ordered the Japchae to go and while the flavor was good, it was missing a lot of the veggies that normally go into it. The bulgogi was okay, but mostly drowning the the glass noodles. Would be much better with spinach and more of the other veggies (mushrooms, carrots, etc). There is a lot of seating, so assuming this would be a good workday lunch spot. I ordered a large catering order from Kimchi guys for a company meeting, and it was INCREDIBLE! David Lee, the owner, was super accommodating and helped me order an appropriate amount for ~70 people for a "sampler plate" of everything on a Friday afternoon, talking me through all my options and helping me select the right foods. 1. Food was absolutely phenomenal, and so many employees gave raving compliments. We ordered vegetable mandu & beef mandu, Tteokbokki with Gochujang, and Kimchi - and it was all delicious. The mandu were flavorful and didn't even require a dipping sauce like so many dumplings, the Tteokbokki was spicy and chewy, and the kimchi was crunchy and amazing (their kimchi is made with Fish sauce). David (the owner) even made one order of the Tteokbokki vegan for us (without the fish cakes and cheese) without charge! 2. David was able to accommodate my last-minute order (ordered the Friday before, the event was the following Wednesday) and delivered exactly at the requested time (delivery to Chelsea in Manhattan at 3:30 PM). He texted and kept me updated, and the food was delivered hot and cleanly packaged. He made sure to tell me which items were which too so they could be labeled for allergens. 3. We had tons of leftovers and I put them out today (Thursday) for employees to take, and everything was just as tasty the next day. We immediately had a bunch of people lining up to get more once I made the announcement! All in all, this was a delicious choice and the only negative is that it isn't located closer to me! 11/10 would recommend (See some next-day photos of the amazing leftovers! But I ordered 5 piece tenders and fries to see what the hype was after Bonchon closed down... and I was very disappointed in what I received for the price I had to pay. My tenders were INCREDIBLY dry, was barely any chicken, and the seasoning of soy garlic was way too salty. The fries were decent, but I just wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else. read more

Their boba slushies are delicious, just wish they offered options for sugar level. They accommodate when I ask for less sugar though. Korean fried chicken is back! There are now three flavors: soy garlic, spicy, and sweet chili. The sweet chili could use a little more kick, but it is a nice middle ground between the first two. Came here for lunch. The chicken strips are flat and incredibly crunchy. The popcorn shrimp is delicious (and make sure to order it seasoned).
