Swung by for happy hour and O.M.G! I already knew I'd appreciate the happy hour brews there, since I have already tried their beers before, but I was blown away by the Danish Dog and fries. The hot dog was delicious (I even enjoyed the mustard, which I typically don't have on hot dogs) and fries perfectly seasoned and cooked! I really liked the spicy aioli that came with it too. Overall would absolutely come back for happy hour!

Dropped in to grab something to go. Decided to try their chicken sandwich and ordered a RIZZO, Mezcal, Hibiscus, Velvet Falemnum, Lime, Bitters, while I waited. The drink was delicious. And do was the SANDWICH. At first I was like, $18 (with tax) for just a sandwich, no sides.... I was hungry and this place has good reviews, so I went for it. The moment I took a bite, I was hooked.... Delicious, fresh, crispy full of flavor! Lastly the young lady that assisted me was great. (Went in a Sunday night, wasn't very busy. I would absolutely try something else from here again. Also a good looking place, sexy date night spot.

I love that this place is a beer hall - with communal seating and casual fare - but has an elevated ambiance and high quality food and drink. Best of both worlds!

TL;DR: best beer bar Williamsburg! Can't go wrong! Best selection of both taps and cans. It's not every day you stumble upon a place like Tørst. Now that I have, I'm never forgetting Cheers, Tørst!

A fun little spot tucked into the Greenpoint area. The vibes were good and drinks were fun! They have lots of cocktails, ciders, beers -- something for everyone. I got the Rizzo and liked it. They didn't have too many vegetarian options for the food, so probably would skip on that next time -- I think they serve a lobster roll when it's in season, would maybe come back for that?

After standing in line for The Snail for an hour, only to be told it'd be a 2.75 hour wait, we made our way over to Torst. Their burger hit the spot and my friend said the chicken sandwich is one of the top he's had. Also recommend the fries, pretzel and pickled veggies!

torst is fabulous!! i had a great time here and note that my review is based on a private party i attended at torst! the food: torst was a 10/10 on the food game, set up a charcuterie, pickle plates, olives, veggies with dip, and served the best chicken sliders and chicken wings. everything was super delicious! the drinks: they have a ton of beers on tap which is fun! one note is that they cannot make a dirty martini bc they don't have the ingredients:((( but i enjoyed my vodka ginger tonic! the space: very cute the service: incredible!

I've only been here over the summer and their frozen espresso martinis are fireeeee. Love that they comes in the classic Greek coffee cups too. Service was super friendly, would come back to try their other drinks as well :)

What a cool spot. Lots of delicious treats on the menu, especially the curry dog. So many great drinks to choose from, from beer to cider to wine. Great bartenders, intimate space, worth checking out! Would return!

Great ambiance, amazing customer service and delicious frozen espresso martini. Delicious food as well. Came in on Xmas eve and it was slow at first however the vibez picked up and the bartender Sam was able to still keep going with his superior customer service. His suggestions of IPA's were exquisite and the one I loved the most wasn't available to buy by the bottle, which means I will definitely be back!

Sat at the bar where the aesthetics to the space really impressed. As the bright and refined surroundings would suggest, their beer selection was curated with the best. For instance, Cantillon was just casually on draft and served in the best choice, most delicate stemware glasses. The selection of beer during our visit was on point, but potentially a one off as they were celebrating their anniversary. Prices were a little up there, as was expected from a beer bar serving beer of upper tier caliber. Food was ever present and the She-Wolf Sourdough (Tørst house-cultured butter) was ordered in earnest. I crushed that entire loaf on my own. Though satisfying -- with the prospect of having a major bowel movement of roasty sesame seeds incredibly high -- the bread wasn't as yeasty as I would have liked. The heavy amount of sesame seeds could have been the culprit, but I did so very much enjoy the flavor. A solid beer bar with the history and experience in the industry to make a visit here an absolute necessity.

Cool upscale bar in Brooklyn with an eclectic beer selection. Not too many people on a Friday night, so was able to get two seats at the bar immediately. Despite the draft list, opted for the can of "Emerald Gardens" IPA ($10). Hazy hop, not too strong so easy to drink. For food, shared the Cheese Plate ($18) - a nice spread of three cheeses, toasted bread, jam, and berries. Cheeses are all excellent, as well as the hearty bread and sweet jam/fruit. Price-wise not the best value - 8 ounce offerings are almost 10 dollars, and full pours even more egregious. Service here is quick and they have some nice seating inside and outside. Fine for a drink and a snack.

Decent pub, with very down to earth interiors. The beers are standard and decently priced. Overall good place to catch up, but not suitable for a date. The food here is just OK, but you can customize since the staff is very nice and accommodating. The pickle platter is not worth It's a bit dimly lit inside.

A fantastic beer menu, one of the best I've seen in New York but it's not worth the expense of $11 beers in small wine glasses.

He started out as a salesman for Brooklyn Brewery during the 1980s. Eventually he founded his own beer imports company called Raven Importing Company. Raven ultimately wanted to open his own craft beer bar and bottle shop where he could offer consumers microbrews and high quality European brews. The new business, dubbed Brouwerij Lane, was the first of its kind in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood. Brouwerij Lane has 19 rotating draught lines as well as 150+ cans and bottles of local, imported, rare and unique craft brews. Raven also teamed up with brewmaster Chris Prout to open the Dirck the Norseman restaurant and brewpub in 2014. It later evolved into Greenpoint Beer & Ale Company, but it sadly closed its doors in 2024. I recently visited Brouwerij Lane while I was in Brooklyn to see a concert. I arrived early in the day so I could explore some beer bars and shops throughout Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Both neighborhoods have bustling craft beer scenes. Brouwerij Lane has been on my list of places to explore for a while. The interior is small but cozy. There were maybe six other customers enjoying beers when I arrived. I grabbed a table and then looked over the impressive draught menu. I decided to start off with a pour of Mighty Squirrel Brewing's "Volare" (Italian Pilsner). Italian Pilsners are my favorite variety of pilsners, and this one was excellent. Dry-hopped with noble hops, "Volare" (Italian for 'to fly') was crisp and delicious with a nice blend of citrusy notes and hints of freshly baked bread. I also had a look at the shop's impressive can/bottle selection and purchased a can of Brown Girl's Brew's "Lemon Pound Cake" (Lager) to take home. Before leaving, I enjoyed a pour of Brouwerij Van Steenberge's "Tripel De Garre" (Belgian Tripel). This was an AMAZING Belgian beer that had some excellent spice notes. I had an excellent experience at Brouwerij Lane and I highly recommend them to craft beer aficionados or those who want to learn about craft beer!

This place has everything, attentive service, great beer, and great food. I find that sometimes the beer offerings at various breweries get a bit stale --- it's almost always the same stuff. Keg & Lantern is going to have all your favorite, but they just seem better executed. My go-to first beer is the Soprano. A great crisp Italian pilsner After that, it's off to the races with a high abv hazy ipa. The food here is also great. In particular, I love their fish and chips. After having it multiple times, it seems unbelievably consistent. It's always delicious. My wife loves the blackened fish. Finally, the service is great. They're attentive, always seem to swing by at the right time, and are super friendly. K&L seems to do everything all the other breweries do, but just a little bit better. For sure stop in here. It's one of those seat yourself spots, so I get wanting to save a bigger area for your crew, but it felt chaotic and hard to find seating here. The second time I went, it wasn't nearly as crowded and I was able to snag a booth, which made for a much better experience. Note to self, if there's a big playoff game or any major sporting event happening, go early to save prime seating. Otherwise, go when there isnt a game on if you want a more chill vibe. For drinks, I ordered a pint of the creamsicle beer, which didn't really taste like the ice cream. Since they're known for their wings, I ordered the Yakitori wings and Buffalo wings. Both were good. Also got a large plate of chili chicken fries, which were amazing. Overall, I was happy with the meal. Service was just alright. It wasn't terrible, but nothing stood out either.
