First of all, a giant thank you to Robert! I took in my 2006 Ford Ranger because the clutch was basically gone... I had asked a few other places for quotes and they came in well over $1000... Robert got it done for significantly less, he did a great job, and I got my truck back very quickly! I am always very very nervous whenever I have to look for a new mechanic, especially because I don't know all that much about cars and working on them... I never know if I'm going to get robbed! Especially with the typical mechanic add-ons and work that I didn't even know needed to be done... These guys are professional, they are trustworthy, and they make me feel as though they truly care about me and my car. I was nervous, but I asked them for an explanation of the work that needed to be done, how they were actually going to do it, where the parts were going to come from, and how long it would take. In true professional form, Robert under-promised and over-delivered! I could not be happier! After I got to chat with them a while, I learned that these guys are local family guys running a small, honest business... I will be going there for all of my service and mechanic needs from now on. Edvin and Robert are AMAZING! I brought my car in because it was losing coolant, a problem that had supposedly just been "fixed" the month before at the dealership. As they topped off the coolant levels in my car I was asking a barrage of questions of them the whole time, most of which were the "What is going on? What is happening?" variety. Edvin took the time to patiently explain to me every single step he would need to make before he could properly diagnose the problem. Edvin's patience won me over, so I agreed to leave my car so that it could cool down enough to have the diagnostic tests done. Once Edvin ran the tests and found the problem, he called and explained exactly what it was (a leak in the supercharger's cooling system), as well as how much the repairs would cost and how long they would take. Both quotes were MUCH lower than the costs for the same repairs at the dealership. As the driver of a finicky European SUV that is always in need of repairs, my only wish is that I had found this shop sooner. I am so happy that I found this place. The main place I used to take my 2002 Honda to for repairs closed a couple years ago and since then I'd been getting the runaround at another place. My car is older so repairs are expected, but the frequency and cost was raising red flags especially since they were looking at my car with only a couple of weeks between visits. After a terrible customer service experience there, I got recommendation for another place and also had a horrendous experience with them. At my wit's end, I checked Yelp and randomly found this place. Thank goodness I did. Edwin was so helpful and actually listened to me. He looked at my car and let me know what repairs were needed immediately and what could be done in a few months. He saved me quite a bit of money and while fixing my brakes he noticed another part needed to be replaced and did it at no extra charge to me. I have been looking for a car mechanic that I can trust and he is an expert in repairing cars since my mechanic retired and is no longer available. I have been asking my friends for recommendations. Most of them recommend mechanics who were far away from where I live. I was so excited when a friend recommended Edwin at T & T Auto Repair. They are very conveniently located, so I gave it a try and took my car there when I had a problem with a light on the dashboard turned on. Edwin is a real gentleman and he knew right away exactly what was wrong and he fixed it with no charge! I have taken my car back to him for other problems and he seems to be very knowledgable and right on top of everything. In my own experiences, when mechanics are being compassionate and seemingly empathetic toward my situation, it's normally been because they were angling for some type of gain in return or it was serving some other agenda. Leaving L.A. on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, our car decided to overheat on the freeway. After limping off the exit ramp, we called several car repair shops nearby and T & T was the only one to answer the phone. Edvin looked over our car right away and fixed a faulty connection to our water pump. My husband and I have been so relieved to find Ray. We have older cars. Often mechanics recommend or push services we don't need. Ray is not only honest, he goes out of his way to give that personal touch one needs to feel comfortable. He replaced a leaking power steering pump, but left the belt a little loose because the car is so old he didn't want it to snap. He asked me to bring it back in a week so he could tighten it. I took it back, he tightened the belt then noticed the headlight was out so he replaced the bulb for free. He's a gem. I can't express it enough. read more

Edvin and his team totally exceeded my expectations. My brakes needed to be replaced for all 4 wheels. They ordered the parts and replaced them in one afternoon. Edvin took the time to show me why I was hearing the grinding noise, which prompted me to bring my Jeep in for brake repair. He even flushed the brake fluid, cleaned my engine and oiled a couple of my squeaky doors at no additional charge. I needed a mechanic to look over my Audi A4, which was a lease for 3 years, because I just wanted to cover my base before returning the car. I'm glad I went to T and T, because Robert was very helpful and honest. I knew I needed 2 new tires and Robert was able to find me the same tires but used.
