I was told by word of mouth & my in laws that this mechanic shop is honest & has good reputation. Incorrect. Took my car in Friday, was charged $930 for a $80 part (5hr labor for a part that should take at most 2hrs) and drove off with more issues that could've caused my car to catch on fire. Was also told I needed new breaks all around which was also incorrect. Total would've had to spend over $3000. Luckily I took it to another shop in which they confirmed my breaks only needed lubricant & will be getting all else fixed that was messed up at richards. Expenses aren't the issue as clearly taking my car to a mechanic l'm ready to pay to get my car fixed. PLEASE find a genuine and honest mechanic because this is not it. Richard, I'm embarrassed your shop has now had this reputation due to the mechanics you have in your shop. Do better.
