Google search directs us to the closest O'reilly auto parts which takes us the back way - down a long and winding road to Centerville, TN. I saw a sign of salvation when we passed Ultimate Automotive since we had no idea what was going on with the car. I made a u-turn and pulled in to ask for help. Zack and JP were there to check the car out for us and it turned out the battery was dead. They took the time to check for other possible issues since we were traveling and had many miles to go yet. I can't begin to tell you how lucky we were to find them. To trust total strangers while out of town and traveling is one thing but to find this team that has so many years of automotive knowledge and repair history between them is a godsend. started out we had a joint replaced. we hooked up to our camper for vacation and got about 10 miles…read moreand the driveshaft came flying out. looked at it and one of the clips that hold the cap in place was not there. we had to have the truck and the camper towed. it also knocked of a emission component by the gas tank. the good. they took care of replacing the driveshaft . they took care of the towing. with the truck being our only transportation, we had to rent a vehicle while they ordered the shaft. they would not reimburse for rental. even after admitting fault. they fired the tech because this was the second one in a month. any time my wife would call the advisor would be demeaning to her. the last time she called , the check engine light was on. autozones code was for the part they replaced. we never had a light on before all of this. his words were want do you want? it is an old truck! excuse me , it is 2006 with 125 k on it. so many times they could have made this right and failed!! and beware if your a lady doing business with them!!!

No other trailer repairmen would work on axles except for Freddy. He made numerous calls to try to locate an axle. When that was not successful, he was able to have someone weld a spindle to the axle and eventually get the trailer up and running. He went above and beyond making calls and exploring options because he knew we were in a pinch. Although he lived in williamsport, he responded to Nashvillemultiple times and had to deal with shipping issues with FedEx in the meantime. He was super friendly, professional and courteous. And his rates were very reasonable. He could have charged anything he wanted given our situation, but he didn't take advantage of it. He even took apart the other drums and repacked the bearings to make sure everything was in tight order. This is a guy you can trust and a guy who will do whatever it takes to help you out.

Took car to John's tires where i have normally taken my cars for years. I had been sold a bad tire. It was a used tire, but if it's bad, it's bad and doesn't need to be used.
