Mike REFUSED to replace the automotive battery that was (and still is) under warranty because it failed. Two years earlier, Novak Motors put in the battery. After one year the battery began to fail. I brought it to the actual dealership first to read the battery, and they said it was failing. Since the battery was still under warranty, my dealership recommended bringing it back to where I purchased the battery and had the battery installed. I brought it back to Novak Motors. Mike ran the same report yet again and said the battery was not failing and recharged the battery. If the battery wasn't failing, why did it need to be recharged? After the recharge, it still was not working so I brought it back to the dealership and they ran the test again. It failed a third time even after Novak "charged" the battery. Mike said then I had an electrical issue someplace down the line they would need to diagnose (at $150 an hour). This was after Mike "graciously" explained to me what a battery was and how a battery works in a vehicle. I brought my vehicle back to the dealership, yet again wasting more of my time, they ran the battery test. The battery still failed and the dealership confirmed I have zero electrical issues with my car. The money grab this place is doing and refusing to change a simple battery under warranty has lost a former loyal customer. DO NOT waste your time or money here.

In the past when I've brought my car in for work (in this case, it was to have my brakes changes because they were squealing) he changed only the brakes that were severely worn and told me how many miles I had left before the others would need to be changed. A dishonest mechanic would have insisted on replacing them all to get more money out of me. The thing I miss most about my former residence is being able to bring my car to Don. An honest mechanic like him is very rare, and I have not been able to find one since. I absolutely guarantee you won't regret trusting Don with your car!

Often times there are six figure Porsches parked here so one can trust these guys know what they are doing. After moving back to the area, my BMW had been shifting poorly following a transmission oil flush I had performed in CA. I suspected it was under filled and decided to give this shop a call. Greg was kind enough to fit me into his busy schedule to take a look at my transmission a day later and confirmed that my oil was about 1L under filled. He topped it off and test drove to confirm no damage had been sustained and my car drives wonderfully again. Was charged for oil and a very reasonable hour of labor. Was able to get reimbursed by the prior shop for the charges too since they made a mistake.
