I DO NOT recommend this business (Novak Motors-Lebanon, NJ) at all. After several years of loyal patronage, I was screwed over by Mike and the service department. Mike REFUSED to replace the automotive battery that was (and still is) under warranty because it failed. Two years earlier, Novak Motors put in the battery. After one year the battery began to fail. I brought it to the actual dealership first to read the battery, and they said it was failing. Since the battery was still under warranty, my dealership recommended bringing it back to where I purchased the battery and had the battery installed. I brought it back to Novak Motors. Mike ran the same report yet again and said the battery was not failing and recharged the battery. If the battery wasn't failing, why did it need to be recharged? After the recharge, it still was not working so I brought it back to the dealership and they ran the test again. It failed a third time even after Novak "charged" the battery. Mike said then I had an electrical issue someplace down the line they would need to diagnose (at $150 an hour). This was after Mike "graciously" explained to me what a battery was and how a battery works in a vehicle. I brought my vehicle back to the dealership, yet again wasting more of my time, they ran the battery test. The battery still failed and the dealership confirmed I have zero electrical issues with my car. The money grab this place is doing and refusing to change a simple battery under warranty has lost a former loyal customer. DO NOT waste your time or money here. read more

Extremely professional service. We bought a Fiat from Joel here today and were super happy with the service from start to finish. Yesterday we were considering buying a Fiat in Manhattan, but even though we loved the car, the level of service from the dealer was off-putting. We searched on CarGuru and found a similar car at Novak. We spoke to Joel on the phone and we could immediately tell that he was a true professional. It was worth renting a car, driving out from Manhattan, and getting a much more personal and reliable service. The price was really fair and the team helped with everything from financing to insurance. Two years ago I was looking to find a specific used truck. I spent a few months doing this. I had gone to a few dealerships and either the truck wasn't in the shape I was looking for or the price was too high. I saw a listing for the perfect vehicle on I believe CarGurus.com that listed Novak Motors as the dealership. I made an appointment to see the truck. It turns out that they were a leasing company that sold off lease vehicles. The truck was in perfect condition with low mileage and at a reasonable price. There was no high pressure sales and they made the purchasing experience painless. I then was told it had a lifetime powertrain warranty at no extra cost. I have recommended them to friends and family. I'm an hour away so I haven't used their service dept. even though I also got a few free oil changes. read more

Another fantastic experience. After purchasing a vehicle about a month ago from Joel at Novak the battery died. I was also noticing some grinding and brake squealing. After a bad experience with DCH Audi Millburn, I was happy to work with Joel (salesman), Tony (manager), and Luis (financing) on the recent purchase of my 2013 Audi A5 convertible. All were very professional. PROS: - big lot with a nice selection of low mileage luxury cars just off lease - found their prices to be very reasonable after quite a bit of shopping around, and they will most definitely work with you on the price - purchase comes with a limited warrantee from Novak, plus you will have the option to buy an extended factory warrantee (I did) - purchase comes with 2 oil changes + 1 tire balance/rotation per year for TWO years (really nice offer) - the least pushy car sales experience you will ever have -- if you come in knowing what you want, they will not try to sell you on something you don't CONS: - scheduling service from their outside vendors (e.g. paintless dent repair) can be difficult since these guys are not dealership employees, however my small door ding (which was there when I bought the car, they offered to take care of it) was fixed good as new within 2 weeks - I wasn't happy with my financing rate considering I put a lot of cash down and have excellent credit, I wish they used more low-interest rate lenders like LightStream All in all, I would highly recommend Novak Motors to anyone in the market for a quality used car. The salesman Dan made me feel like I was not worth his time even though I came with the intentions of purchasing the car I saw. I had the money to give them with me. Dan paid more attention to my father than me and I was the one who wanted to buy the car in the first place. All because he told me he had to go to a party and his boss said they had to leave on time and I came 15 min before closing. Then when I called back to speak to a different salesperson, they told me the car sold 10 minutes before I called. Then they had the nerve to ask me if I would come in and look at another car. Uuuummmm, NOOOO! I'm going today to give my money to a dealership who treated me like I was worth their time. My money is just as good as everyone else's money that walked into that arrogant place. After what seemed to be a smooth transaction, I was incredibly disappointed by their complete disregard for their customers after the sale was final. During the negotiations they promised complimentary oil changes during the first year of ownership. Of course they did not follow through on this. May sound like a small thing and I usually do not post negatives reviews. However this is especially irritating since we went out of our way to recommend this business to our friends. In fact, we have two friends who purchased cars from Novak motors since we purchased ours last September. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone again and I am sorry that we sent them any business at all! They are rude, petty and unprofessional. While we were settling our final paperwork during our purchase last year, the representative commented how they do not get much business at this location. I guess now I know why. read more
