I was disappointed with my recent visit. I asked what meats were available for sandwiches listing…read moretwo meats. I was told the choices, and that I could choose two different meats if I wanted.
When I saw my total for sandwich and latte, I said it seemed a little high.
The cashier looked at the menu boards and said it was "pretty close".
I was in my happy place so I just went along. Got my digital receipt where I saw a $1.50 upcharge for two different meats.
I didn't go back inside to dispute it, but was annoyed.
Then I tasted the sandwich. Overripe avocado, eggs overcooked and dry, and very salty, cheap tasting turkey lunch meat. I expected better for a $15 breakfast sandwich.
My hot latte was just warm.
I had happily started out on a walk and thought to myself, let me give Katy's some love... I regretted that choice.
Their cinnamon rolls are very good, I'll stick to those.
