He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

If you value your time, money, home, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The work on our floors and dry wall required multiple return visits. After the second flooring visit, we told them the floor was still uneven and that the vinyl continued to pop up. On the third visit, a team member stepped on the area that was popping up and said, "There's nothing wrong!" After we insisted they open the floor, we discovered that cardboard packaging from the vinyl floor boards had been used underneath the floor to address the leveling issue... When we finally thought the flooring was finished, another problem surfaced. The trim at the top of our staircase that had been installed only about two weeks earlier came loose, and I fell down the stairs as a result. We then discovered that our replacement dry wall was visibly uneven and not flush with the existing wall. Even after their team came back to work on it, the transition was still not flush, if not worse! Regardless of whether subcontractors were involved, we hired Into The Woods to ensure the work was completed properly and ultimately hold them responsible. On top of having to repeatedly identify problems that should have been caught through proper supervision and quality control, the most frustrating part has been communicating with Into the Woods direct team members, especially their owner, Shamus. We constantly felt like our concerns were minimized and dismissed. Even if the work had been perfect, the interactions with the company throughout this entire process made us wish we never signed anything with them.

I decided to go with Floor Coverings International Northeast Atlanta because I could tell that Jennie was truly trying to understand my needs and help me solve my issue. Let me tell you I made the right decision, not only did Jennie help me and walk me through this whole process, but she would go to my house and FaceTime me and show me different stains and how the work was moving along. We used Yelp to find a flooring company to replace our LVT floor in the basement. Our old LVT floor…read morewas buckling and breaking apart. Peach Design responded quickly online and came the next day to give a quote in person. After agreeing to go with their company on Friday, they started the flooring the following Tuesday and finished it the next day (Wednesday). They communicated clearly, were responsive to our questions, and were very professional. The LVT they recommended was commercial grade which was much thicker and sturdier than what we previously had. The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. Our new floors look and feel great! We would highly recommend Michael and his team!
