    After floors were pulled up

If you're looking for floor work to be done in your home look no further than Peach Design. Michael and his team are fantastic to work with and do a great job! We had to pull up our floors in part of our house to give access to our crawl space. So we needed new insulation, sub floors and new wood floors. We also decided to sand and refinish and stain all the floors based on this work. Michael and his team were great to work with because they worked with us and our other contractors to fit a schedule and made it easy to get the work done and also have open communication. Another key thing to know is that Michael does work with those that have escrow holdbacks set up for contracting payment. This was a key deciding factor. Finally Michael was really helpful in helping us pick the stain color and also any additional asks we had. To sum up - they are communicative, flexible and work efficiently. What more could you ask for!

HIRE PEACH DESIGN I don't write reviews unless I'm extremely happy with a business and their work. We had an awesome experience using Peach Design for our hardwood floor project. I found them on yelp and requested a quote based on the positive reviews I read. Everything was professional from day 1. They communicated well starting with the quote all the way to wrap up. The final price never wavered from the quote even when new issues were found and had to be corrected/addressed. We were adamant about doing a herringbone design and despite being a more tedious and non traditional hardwood project, Peach Designs was never scared off and never tried to convince us to change our plans. The crew was very professional and trustworthy. We were comfortable leaving a key/lockbox so they could come and go even if we were not home. They were very respectful of our home and property at all times. They would put up plastic every day to create a confined work space and protect the rest of our hole from dust. They were very careful when moving any of our property and caused zero damage. There was a few days they couldn't be at the house, so they would place perfectly cut plywood down temporarily so we could use our kitchen. The quality of the work was fantastic. From removing the old floor to putting everything back in new, it was simply done right. The design was well thought out and perfectly executed. They even leveled the support beams under the floor to make the final floor perfectly level. Always went the extra mile. Most importantly, the project manager Claudiu was top notch. We communicated almost daily via text which he first made sure was ok with me. He would communicate any issues the team would encounter and inform me of the plan of action. He was clear on expectations and timelines. He would always talk through any choices that would come up and give his helpful opinion even when it came to design questions (Plank width, border size, wood type, etc..) They even included a seamless wooden vent cover and refinished an adjacent floor so the color match would be better. They thought of everything. Would 100% use Peach Design again for any hardwood project, big or small, basic or complex. Don't look any further for your project.

Always a scary thing to move to a new state and face the daunting task of looking for new contractors. Michael and his team made our floor remodel easy. He came recommended from my realtor and worked with us to provide a very competitive price. He and his project lead were always a phone call away which made it easy to coordinate work days and timing as we had painters working around the floor schedule. We had refinished the hardwood floors on the main level, replace two stairways with oak treads, add new hardwood on the second floor, add metal balusters, and finish with a commercial polyurethane. They worked flawlessly with our painters and we couldn't be happier! Thanks Michael and Claudio!

    Staircase Baluster Upgrade - Before
    R W.

Recently contracted with Peach Design to complete a staircase baluster upgrade at my home. I shopped 3 reputable home renovation services before choosing to go with Peach. After meeting with Michael and discussing my design plans he put together a very fair quote and proposed a quick turnaround for getting the work done. The team from Peach were very prompt, professional, and helpful to answer all of my questions before and during the work. Even when we encountered a minor hurdle they were very helpful with suggestions and consulting me on the best work around to ensure I would be satisfied with the final results. Great job to Michael and the Peach Design team, I am extremely happy with the work and pricing for my upgrade and definitely will recommend them to associates who may need similar help.

Candi and Shamus have consistently jumped through hoops for me to provide great product at pricing I could fit into my budget- or my client's budgets. Their installers are educated and follow the manufacturer guidelines for install - which is hugely important as to not void any warranty. This last project they helped me with required same day delivery and unload. 2 of their managers took the time to follow the delivery truck and unload my flooring! If you're looking for great products and service, I recommend Into The Woods. Shamus is also a GA Licensed Contractor so he is a wealth of information. I highly recommend and am grateful for their support.

Poor workmanship. Poor communication. A frustrating and, at times, genuinely unsafe experience…read more What initially felt like a company we could trust turned into a project we wish we had never hired them for. If you value your time, money, home, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. The work on our floors and dry wall required multiple return visits. After the second flooring visit, we told them the floor was still uneven and that the vinyl continued to pop up. On the third visit, a team member stepped on the area that was popping up and said, "There's nothing wrong!" After we insisted they open the floor, we discovered that cardboard packaging from the vinyl floor boards had been used underneath the floor to address the leveling issue... When we finally thought the flooring was finished, another problem surfaced. The trim at the top of our staircase that had been installed only about two weeks earlier came loose, and I fell down the stairs as a result. We then discovered that our replacement dry wall was visibly uneven and not flush with the existing wall. Even after their team came back to work on it, the transition was still not flush, if not worse! Regardless of whether subcontractors were involved, we hired Into The Woods to ensure the work was completed properly and ultimately hold them responsible. On top of having to repeatedly identify problems that should have been caught through proper supervision and quality control, the most frustrating part has been communicating with Into the Woods direct team members, especially their owner, Shamus. We constantly felt like our concerns were minimized and dismissed. Even if the work had been perfect, the interactions with the company throughout this entire process made us wish we never signed anything with them. *Additional Review After Owner's Response* Unfortunately, Shamus' response to my review is itself a reflection of our experience with Into The Woods. Throughout the project, our concerns were repeatedly reframed rather than addressed. We were reassured that issues would be taken care of, only to find them unresolved on subsequent visits. When we continued to speak up, we often felt our words were misconstrued, our concerns minimized, and the burden shifted back onto us. The response emphasizes that the company made 7-8 return visits. But the number of visits does not mean the work was properly completed. In fact, having to repeatedly request corrections is exactly what made this experience so frustrating. Many of those visits were to address warranty or punch-list issues that should have been resolved as part of completing the original work. I also want to correct the characterization of the financial accommodations. The nearly $10,000 shortfall was not covered by Into The Woods as a "good-faith discount." The remediation company that referred us to Into The Woods chose to cover the additional costs after we shared our negative experience with Into the Woods. They asked Into The Woods to go above and beyond to restore our home, and we are genuinely grateful to the remediation company for stepping in to help make things right. Separately, Shamus offered us a $1,000 "gesture of goodwill," which we declined. This offer came after we discovered cardboard packaging from the flooring underneath our floor. The stair-nose explanation in the response is particularly frustrating. The response leaves out the fact that approximately two weeks had passed since its installation. When the stair nose came loose, we photographed the underside and found a substantial amount of adhesive that appeared not to have properly bonded. The company subsequently returned to repair it. We don't expect construction to be completely free of problems. We do expect a contractor to listen to concerns, supervise the work, communicate accurately, and make sure problems are actually resolved. This experience cost us an enormous amount of time, frustration, and peace of mind. After everything we've experienced, we would not hire Into The Woods again, and we hope prospective customers consider our experience before making their decision.

We wanted to share our experience with them as they exceeded our expectations. What stood out most to us was their exceptional customer service from beginning to end. Communication was effortless throughout the entire process. And unlike a few other places that had high-pressure sales tactics, Granite Garage Floors put us at ease. They scheduled an in-home consultation where they thoroughly toured our garage, patiently explained various style options, and gave us time to make our own decisions. Their website was also helpful as it had several examples of different styles which helped us better visualize some of the choices we were debating. But as we discussed our preferences with the team, we were able to create a semi-custom style (a new decorative flake option) which we really appreciated. The team was also very transparent and we got clear communication from how to prep beforehand to how to maintain the floor afterwards. It was a two-day process with a highly professional team. They smoothed our entire garage floor first. Then they mixed all products on-site and applied the coating with great attention to detail. We were so excited to see how our garage was completely transformed. Perhaps the best testament to the quality is that our children now regularly ask us to park our cars outside so they can use the garage as their play area! We also wanted to mention that their pricing is competitive and they stand by their product with a lifetime warranty. For anyone considering an epoxy garage floor installation, we cannot recommend Granite Garage Floors highly enough.

I love it so much. It's chaise tan by Shaw. Go to Dalton for your flooring needs. These people are honest and know what they are doing. I shared this review on Google, but wanted to include them here as well. They are really great people to work with.

DON'T JUST SHOP, GET EDUCATED!…read more I decided to visit this store because I wanted a larger inventory of flooring products. They had a nice collection of carpets, wood, tile and porcelain options. I just love being able to go to the store and try out the products and experience them as I would in my home. So I kick off my shoes and lay it on the floor and walk on it. How else do you do it? There was plenty of room available to explore and I love having a work table to rest my bag and notebook. Sometimes I take notes but I allowed my husband to do most of the listening as I shopped. Although I like to do research before visiting the store, I still like to ask questions because the employees may have different answers based on their direct experience with clients. For example, one product that my husband liked at a previous store was ruled out here due to complaints about its tendency to become easily soiled and another was ruled out due to its poor performance in high traffic areas. Gene was very knowledgeable about the carpet and he helped us to really narrow our choices. Shopping for carpet is simply overwhelming and we are easily going into our second month of trying to make a decision. It is not just about the carpet, you need to know about their installation process as well. If there is an imperfection that is found in the sub-floor after the carpet is removed, With Dalton Flooring Outlet, I can easily work directly with the contractor to have it addressed. My neighbor was not able to do this with his installers due to company policy. Instead of correcting those issues, they were literally covered up. You must consider "worse case scenario" so that all possible issues can be addressed prior to the install. Some stores are very rigid and if it is not spelled out in the contract, you might have a problem. They have a very nice selection of porcelain tile and planks. However, they have only one very trusted tile guy and he will not be available for another six to nine months. Apparently, you can easily run into this problem if you want porcelain because a different carpet store stated that porcelain is just not that popular so they did not have anyone who could install it even though they sold it. Beware because this could present a problem down the road if you need to have a piece replaced or repaired. We picked out a couple of porcelain samples that we would like to try in our home and they will be shipped to us at no cost. We were also able to take home a couple of their carpet samples for review as well. ***Remember, if you don't do the research, you will not be able to ask intelligent questions and you won't really understand what they are telling you. It is also easier to rule out and rule in certain options.
