We used Yelp to find a flooring company to replace our LVT floor in the basement. Our old LVT floor was buckling and breaking apart. Peach Design responded quickly online and came the next day to give a quote in person. After agreeing to go with their company on Friday, they started the flooring the following Tuesday and finished it the next day (Wednesday). They communicated clearly, were responsive to our questions, and were very professional. The LVT they recommended was commercial grade which was much thicker and sturdier than what we previously had. The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. In response to your leaving a message and not getting a return call - there were no voicemails left on my phone from you or I would have called you back. We wanted our whole home refloored with LVP, over 3000 ft. You say you just do hardwood but you have LVP reviews, and even if you no longer do LVP you could have left a message to that effect. We had to pull up our floors in part of our house to give access to our crawl space. So we needed new insulation, sub floors and new wood floors. We also decided to sand and refinish and stain all the floors based on this work. Michael and his team were great to work with because they worked with us and our other contractors to fit a schedule and made it easy to get the work done and also have open communication. Another key thing to know is that Michael does work with those that have escrow holdbacks set up for contracting payment. This was a key deciding factor. Finally Michael was really helpful in helping us pick the stain color and also any additional asks we had. To sum up - they are communicative, flexible and work efficiently. HIRE PEACH DESIGN I don't write reviews unless I'm extremely happy with a business and their work. We had an awesome experience using Peach Design for our hardwood floor project. I found them on yelp and requested a quote based on the positive reviews I read. Everything was professional from day 1. They communicated well starting with the quote all the way to wrap up. The final price never wavered from the quote even when new issues were found and had to be corrected/addressed. We were adamant about doing a herringbone design and despite being a more tedious and non traditional hardwood project, Peach Designs was never scared off and never tried to convince us to change our plans. The crew was very professional and trustworthy. We were comfortable leaving a key/lockbox so they could come and go even if we were not home. They were very respectful of our home and property at all times. They would put up plastic every day to create a confined work space and protect the rest of our hole from dust. They were very careful when moving any of our property and caused zero damage. There was a few days they couldn't be at the house, so they would place perfectly cut plywood down temporarily so we could use our kitchen. The quality of the work was fantastic. From removing the old floor to putting everything back in new, it was simply done right. The design was well thought out and perfectly executed. They even leveled the support beams under the floor to make the final floor perfectly level. Always went the extra mile. Most importantly, the project manager Claudiu was top notch. We communicated almost daily via text which he first made sure was ok with me. He would communicate any issues the team would encounter and inform me of the plan of action. He was clear on expectations and timelines. He would always talk through any choices that would come up and give his helpful opinion even when it came to design questions (Plank width, border size, wood type, etc..) They even included a seamless wooden vent cover and refinished an adjacent floor so the color match would be better. They thought of everything. We only needed a small family room and dinning room resurfaced and the owner admitted that they just don't normally do jobs that small. I told him I understood and thanked him for his response. Two days later he called back and said there had been a delay on a large job and would I still be interested; he even dropped the price down to 1,000$, by far the best price I was quoted. Long story short, the hardwoods are fucking beautiful! 3/4" white oak hardwoods restored to their former glory with a high gloss finish! I highly doubt I will ever buy a house big enough to qualify for another of their jobs, but I am more than happy with the one I got. read more

We recently bought a house. Everything that could go wrong went wrong. We hired a horrible general contractor referred to us by our real estate agent. We've lived in our new home for just over a month and it is still a mess. But we did 1 thing right. That was hire peach design to redo our floors. My husband and I managed the majority of our renovation ourselves, and Peach Design was one of the best subcontractors we worked with during the process. Michael was anything but pushy and completely understood that we were being budget conscious. He was extremely flexible with our schedule, and showed genuine interest in working with us to get the best flooring results (i.e. providing us tips on crawlspace insulation etc.). The floors were installed without a hitch following the exact timeline that we had scheduled for. Even more amazing was how Michael pro-actively reached back out to us based on our original anticipated timeframe to see when we would be ready for the floors to be stained. My husband and I were not the easiest customers when it came to deciding on stain, and the team was more than flexible with us laying down extra samples of the stains we were debating between in other locations throughout the house for us to judge. We had a hiccup at the end when they notified us that our shoe-molding paint color was a little off from our walls. Without digging into whether this was our fault or our painters fault, they went ahead and gave us an extra free layer of water-sealant knowing that this was something we had originally wanted. Holy smokes, Peach Design is the jackpot of flooring!! I scheduled a consult and Michael came to my house within a couple of days to give me the estimate. He measured my home, described what the process would be like, and was NOT pressuring me to give him my business. There were no sales tactics, no "buy now and get this great deal, but only if you sign today" methods. This, in turn, made me want to give him my business even more. Michael was punctual, he accommodated around my work schedule, and answered all of my questions. I pretty much signed on the spot. I was able to have a stain consult the day before the floors were done so that I could live with the samples to make a decision. Michael and his employee were extremely helpful in helping me decide what color stain and shine to go with. Because my home is very quaint (small) I had a moving truck parked in the driveway for all of my furniture to be moved out. For a very small fee, the employees removed and replaced all of my furniture. This made the process hassle free. The best part of this process was that Peach Design was able to redo my floors THAT WEEK. I was leaving town for 5 days, and they were able to complete my house in the time that I was gone. Michael sent me text pictures of my house knowing how anxious I was to see them. I've been home for a week and I still cannot believe how beautiful my floors are. My home has original red oak wood floors from 1950, and have not been treated since they were originally installed. The hallway flooring felt like it could cave in at any time, and they were able to replace the boards to look like a perfect match to the original pieces. I feel like I have a new home. I bought a ranch style home in Tucker this summer. The first thing we did was remove the carpet to see how the hard woods looked. To our surprise half the living room was hardwood and half was linoleum. Michael and his team did an excellent job blending new with existing and refinishing all of the hardwoods in the house. You can't tell a difference in the floors at all. I sent him a message on a Sunday and he was at my house the next day and he was working on my floors the following week. I scheduled an appointment with peach design for a Sunday. The guy called the Monday before and we scheduled a time. Fast forward a week later and he calls me an hour before the appointment and is clearly trying to get out of coming and giving me a quote. He tells me he can't do the floors in my townhouse and I ask him to at least come and look and give me a quote. He says OK and never shows up. I am guessing the guy saw that I was in an older townhouse and assumed I didn't have any money and decided he didn't want to come out. Very presumptuous of him. Wasted my whole Saturday if he had done his homework on the Monday when we scheduled the appointment I could have called someone who would have actually given me a quote.Not only that I had to drive all the way to my empty house for no one to show up. The guys at Peach designs went above and beyond while refinishing our floors of our New 60 year old house before we moved in. They came and quoted quickly and were able to start within a few short days. I was thinking about putting new wood floors in our living room . Then one day I realized just how bad my living room carpet was . It is a 15 x 19 room living room. I made a smart decision when I called Peach Design and spoke to Michael! One week later I have a beautiful wood floor that matches my other existing floors.. It was so easy and a completely pleasant experience. I can't believe I had been procrastinating! Claudio came to measure, confirm the type and size of wood we needed to match the existing floors. We had a triangle step that we wanted modified into a square. He was professional and very helpful . He set expectations by explaining what would happen over the next 3-4 days. We provided them a key for a lock box as I did not want to be there for all of the excitement ! At the end of that day they had moved my furniture and pictures, removed the carpet and laid the wood. The two employees that were here when I returned were equally pleasant professional and communicative. They cleaned up the work area and front porch They also placed a plastic barrier to separate the work area from the rest of the house therefore reducing dust and oder. Cladio communicated when the team would return to apply the sealant and poly urethane. They use a special product that dries quickly and minimizes the smell. We did stay in the house during the process. We kept the bedroom doors closed. The smell was strong but tolerable. If you are sensitive you might want to stay away. The floor looks beautiful. Tomorrow they are scheduled to return to move the furniture back! One last note -I do not want to set the expectation that Peach Design is always able to schedule jobs that quickly. The new bamboo floors in our newly vacant investment rental look amazing as well as the upgraded baseboards and shoe molding the crew put in. Have to shout out a HUGE thank you to Claudio (our crew leader) who singlehandedly saved us from a major problem. We had wanted to match the bamboo floors already installed on the 2nd floor of the home and called Floor and Decor to get the info. (that's where we had purchased them the previous year). Ended up getting the COMPLETELY wrong SKU and info. and my own failure in verifying they were correct, once the bamboo was delivered at our unit, could have been a world of pain for me had they been installed! Thankfully Claudio's professionalism, attention to detail and meticulous nature saved the day! Right before installing the floors, he did a tour of our home and noticed the apparent difference in the product and immediately called me. What an expensive problem it would have been for us had they been installed! Not only was Claudio super courteous and understanding when he and his crew had to reschedule for another week, his assistant Jeremy (another great asset to the team) returned the unneeded flooring back to Floor and Decor and then picked up the right one from another location. It so pays to have a crew that is looking out to complete a job very well done and who take lots of pride in their work and customer satisfaction. Peach Design did a very nice job on our floors. We had our hardwood floors and stairs sanded and restained and had some linoleum replaced as well. Our floors look excellent! However, while the furniture and refrigerator were being moved, our walls were scratched in many places and a couple small dents were put on the side of the refrigerator. We had to do a lot of touch up painting after the floors were done. A toilet paper holder was knocked loose and paint was pulled off the wall in our dining room where the crew had taped plastic over the cabinets. It looked as if everything had been dumped from the refrigerator and freezer, then put haphazardly back inside (frozen items in fridge, refrigerated items in freezer - we had to throw many things away). There was also stain left on the baseboards in some places and on the bottom of the fireplace. This was corrected after we requested they repaint. Peach Design claims to use a 'dustless system'; however, a significant amount of dust was left on all levels of our home - no big deal, but do not expect a truly dustless experience. Overall, we are pleased with our floors; however, we were very disappointed with the carelessness of the crew. read more

Dealing with Peach Design was a pure pleasure. A few days before work was to begin Claudio came by, sanded a small area in our foyer and put down 4 different stains. Though we choose one of them Claudio found another stain he thought we might like better and brought it over the day before our appointment. He was right as that is the stain we used. We were away while he, Greg and the rest of the team did the job. They sent us daily pictures of the progress which made us more relaxed about not being there during the process. We couldn't have been happier when we walked into the house and saw the finished product! I regret working with this company. I hired them to fix a couple of scratch in my main level hardwood floor. My house was relatively new (2 years old) and the hardwood floors were not really in bad shape, but they had a couple of scratches (in the wood). He sold me to put a layer in all main floor for at a premium price, telling me that was for heavy traffic. He had the redo the work 3 times, because material in the edges of the walls and fireplace were not properly done. Finally after the 3rd time the work was done well. However after 3 months, some stains start to show on the surface of the floors. No scratches, it just look like the floors are dirty, but the stains do not go away. I have also Harwood floors in the basement with the original (from new) layer on it, the floors look in much better conditions in the basement compared to the main floor. I called the owner of this company to show the quality of material he was using. He excused this saying that my son, was doing those stains in the floor. "We do not allow our son to play in the main level, trying to protect the hardwood floors, actually he plays in the basement, and the floors are in much better condition there" He offered me a special price if I would want to re do the work. No way. I better just let him go. Poor quality on the job they do, and poor quality of materials. read more
