It was a lot to deal with at first, but Shamas and his crew took charge of the whole thing, including coordinating directly with our insurance adjuster and staying patient through all the paperwork and back-and-forth. We picked out a bunch of our own tiles and materials from Amazon and other online stores, and Shamas had no problem incorporating them into the project. He also pointed us toward more budget-friendly options when it made sense, and threw in some design suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the finished space. The end result speaks for itself -- every room was brought back to life, and honestly looks better than before. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch; you'd never guess the place had been through that kind of damage. I did not sign off on the installation because the stair carpeting was not completed properly. The carpet on the stairs does not adequately cover the width of the steps, leaving the sides exposed and unfinished in appearance. There are also exposed nails on the stairs, creating both a safety concern and an unacceptable finish. In addition, there is no transition piece at the bottom of the stairs where the carpet meets the lower floor, leaving an unsightly gap. At the top of the stairs, quarter-round molding was installed over the transition area, which has created another visible gap. I was also disappointed with the installers' handling of my property. Although I specifically requested that protective material be placed under their workboxes, none was used. They also placed a silk ottoman outside without any protection underneath it. Throughout the installation, they appeared to show little care for my furnishings and home. Additionally, the salesperson, Aaron, stated that the installation team would be able to address squeaky floors as part of the project. No attention was given to this issue during the installation. Since the installation, I have called Empire Today four times regarding these concerns. I eventually spoke with the installation manager, Carlos, who stated that someone would be scheduled to return and correct the stair installation issues. However, I have not been contacted by anyone, nor has any corrective work been performed. It has now been over a week since the installation, and none of the issues described above have been resolved. I am including photographs documenting the defects and poor workmanship. I am requesting that Empire Today promptly correct the installation deficiencies and address the concerns outlined in this complaint.

They have been notified many times yet refuse to call us back. We've left messages, and sent texts, photos, and video. Marco will occasionally answer but he never follows up. Suri's voicemail is full and she keeps putting us off. They said they were filing a claim about the product but there has been no follow-up. We are so disappointed. We wanted to support their business but this is not how you treat your customers when your product fails.

I contacted them to have them fix it so I could at least close the door, took me having to file a complaint with Thumbtack and the BBB to get it fixed and then the rest of the floor started feeling loose and gapping, and I've been calling ever since over 18 months and still not fixed, they also pulled the plaster off the wall when they did the baseboards and didn't fix, they have promised me probably 10x they were coming and never came or called, they strung me along, me trusting they would fix and never did till this day. I am so disappointed I've logged every call and text to prove how I have begged for help.
