This is the first TJ Maxx and Homegoods Combo store that I've ever shopped in and it won't be my last. For years for some reason I thought this was T J Maxx's furniture store and since I'm not a big furniture shopper I just never bothered stopping in to check it out. The other day we stopped at Five Below which is also located in this same shopping center and decided to check this place out. I think the store is sorta the great hits of both stores. On the left section you have your T J Maxx stuff with purses and clothing at a deep discount. On the right you have Home Goods with decor pillows and Egyptian cotton tea towels. The store is really well laid out and neatly organized. Even their clearance area was neatly put together....we had a good time shopping here and would return again next time we are in the area.... read more

The rudest staff I've ever encountered almost anywhere. While pulling a very full cart to the front, an employee walks toward me and stands in front of me while I'm trying to go around her. So she stands there. And tells me to move so she can go on her way. Really? A 20-something talking to a 62-year old that way. Super hate-filled girl. Wow. Still making my way to the front and while standing in line, I'm told by a cashier up proceed to the register except I am unable to go because another customer is in the way so I wait my turn. The cashier tells me again and I say "I can't go yet." Cashier tells me to calm down. I left. Those charming witches can put away the 40 items in my cart while I'm gone , having spent nothing. Cheers! Avoid this TJM. There are other stores who treat customers with professionalism and respect. This TJM isn't one of those. read more

Just returned home minus one shopping bag. i remember placing it in the bottom part of the buggy so the candle tapers wouldn't break. Unfortunately, as I exited my car at home I got a message to lock my door as the car would do a software update. Now, I I can't look in the trunk for the missing bag. When I call the store and speak to Stephanie, she immediately goes to the parking lot and to the buggies outside the door where it was returned. Then she tells me to try to come back tonight and ask for her and bring my receipt. If my items haven't been turned in, she will REFUND the amount for missing items. I am gobsmacked! just got out of TJ Maxx a few minutes ago I was at the jewelry counter and Liz, the Jewelry counter employee handled a situation with such grace. I walked past the lady who was walking in the aisle, needing to exchange a watch for my brother. I went to the counter and stood there patiently, watching Liz already take care of two women to the right of me in the meantime, the entitled woman who was walking in the aisle, walked up between me and the two women and asked the two women are you in line? Are you being taken care of? The women are like yes all the while I am standing right there 1 foot away from her waiting to be taken care of. As the two women were being wrapped up by Liz, the entitled woman then decides OK you can help me next and I just stared at the woman didn't say a word. I'm very patient. Then Liz is looking up at me, looking back at the lady looking back at me several times like she understood what was going on. The entitled woman started trying on nine different rings in two cases, then left to walk around to the other side. Liz and I thought she just left. thank you so much holy mother of God. I look up in the entitled women is on the other side of the counter, staring at us expecting her to follow her and be served. Liz then takes my exchange gets me the watch I needed for my brother wraps me up within three minutes and we're discussing the fact the lady is waiting on her to go over there. She felt terrible that I had to deal with any of this, and I felt terrible that she had to deal with any of this. There was a mutual understanding of terribleness. I asked Liz what her name was. I wanted to make sure the manager of the store in case anything came up and understood the situation from my point of view. I'm leaving this review because Liz is awesome. The Jewelry counter has the best deals in town. I should know I own a lot of it. If you need a gift for any of the holidays or just to treat yourself, it's so affordable and so high-quality. I spoke with the store manager as I left the building and she was awesome. I explained everything to her in case the entitled woman complained about Liz. If you happen to get her when you go shopping you're a lucky person. TJ Maxx HomeGoods give her a raise. She was handling a lot and she did it with Grace. read more

The absolute best TJ MAXX & HOME GOODS I've ever been to! All the employees are always so nice and helpful. This location has a lot of designer items for a great price. They have a jewelry store with a great selection. It does get very crowded during the weekends so I'd recommend to shop on the weekdays when everyone else is working LOL I love to get my dogs toys and accessories from here because you truly can't beat the price. Toy prices can range from $4+ from which the same toys would cost $25+ at any other pet store. They also have a mens section here! My bf has found very nice clothes to take on his work travels worldwide. read more

The way to appreciate TJ's is to hit a high end clothier .... THEN shop the racks over here. Substantial savings. While you're not likely to find one dress in multiple sizes, you'll see many styles in each size, with surely something that will pique your interest. This is a good store for men's Ralph Lauren polo shirts. For throw pillows. For towels, gourmet food -- through Sprouts is next door -- for beauty products, pots & pans, wall hangings .. you get the picture. I often come in with no agenda, and walk out with multiple purchases. And that's why I like this place. read more

I have shopped at the store for many many years. I am in the process of relocating to Mississippi. On my last trip here in June I bought two blouses. At the time the dressing rooms were closed but we were encouraged to take more purchases home and return them if they didn't fit. Happily, both of mine did. I got them back to Mississippi and washed them. One came out fine and the other one had a shredded sleeve. In other words, defective merchandise. Because I am located some distance from the nearest TJ Maxx in Mississippi, I never was able to get it returned. I finally got back up here and brought it in today. It was 32 days so I was going to be happy to take store credit. My big mistake was telling the employees that I had washed it. Because of that, they would not let me return it, even for store credit. I informed the manager that for $16.99 plus tax, they had lost a lifetime customer. Moral of the story... If you are going to return some thing to T.J. Maxx that you have washed, don't tell them that. How pathetic is that??? read more

We usually love shopping at this location. Kind people with excellent service. Upon checkout, the floor manager (for some reason) refused to check me out. It was hurtful as it seemed intentional that she specifically did not want to accommodate me and my family. We were reluctantly offered help only after the lady behind us in line told the manager that she overlooked us. I wish this person hadn't treated us like this and hope no one else experiences this. read more

This is the best Tj Maxx I've ever been to. They have a great selection of clothes, home essentials, etc. I always find great things here.

One of my absolute favorite stores, and this was the first time I have gone to this location. But let me tell you, it's one of the best ones. The store is clean and tidy. It has a surplus of clothing options as well as other items. I love that it's basically a one-stop shop when it comes to home decor, home items, shoes, handbags, jewelry, beauty items, etc..it's connected to HomeGoods so it's basically just extremely convenient. read more

I really think that my wife and daughters are infected with some kind of illness where they feel compelled that they have to stop at every TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Target, and Marshall's department stores no matter where we happen to be in the world. You know the drill -- hunt and peck for brand name stuff at anywhere from 25 to 75 percent off full retail. Does a ton of business, which is both a positive and a negative. Positive in that the store commands a constant flood of new, quality merch; negative in that you'll a good bit of competition trying to buy it. Still, if you can go in the middle of week and know what you are looking for -- particularly if you have multiple kids growing out of clothes almost weekly and who just shred cheap, poorly made stuff -- it is probably worth dropping by at least once a month. read more

Waited 45 minutes to get help to move a piece of furniture from back of store to cashier; store items in shambles, merchandise on shelves I was told I was not "allowed to buy" at price stated as it was marked in error, aforementioned Matt told me he wasn't helping me because he didn't "care about store". Horrible experience today trying to return or exchange a blouse that literally fell apart at the seems the first time I wore it! The manager wouldn't do anything to make it right. This place is usually always busy, but for me it is hit or miss. I usually find a handbag I could use there. As far as women's clothing you have to sift through a lot of clothing to find something. Some of the clothes look dated to me. Their men's department looks nicer though. I haven't shopped in the children's department in a while. read more

I was at TJ Maxxx tonight trying on some clothes and one of the workers comes into the dressing room asks me how old I am, why was I trying on clothes, told my sister that she couldn't afford the dress she had put on and to leave the dressing room. I tried to get pictures of a dress to post and get opinions on and she told me that I'm not allowed to take pictures. We talked to the manager and she wouldn't tell me what I did wrong, in front of my mother, after I had asked her. So, the TJ Maxxx over by Chili's and Home Depot is now a place I won't be going to. read more

I was profiled by a middle aged, blonde,white male employee during my visit to the store at 4101 Roswell Road Marietta GA. While I browsed through different departments, I was followed and harassed by this man. He spoke to me upon entering the store which is normal of most locations but after the 3rd department it was clear that he was purposely following me. He repeatedly asked how are you today, as if this was the first time that he was seeing me. He had just spoken to me at this point three times and I was in the store less than 20 minutes. I went on about my shopping as I usually do, as I shop at this location often and have for more than 10 years. Once I got to the home goods department it was clear that something was not right. While I perused the different home good products, he spoke to me again ...four more times in the span of 20 minutes. At one point he, he startled me almost causing me to almost drop a figurine that I was holding. Besides my complexion, I have a very distinctive look, clothes, jewelry, etc.. There is no way he could have not known how many times that he had spoken to me, saying the same thing in a facetious manner. As I made my way back through the store there he was again, rushing ahead to meet me at the door speaking to me in that same jocular manner. I do not appreciate this and I will not let this stop me from shopping at one of my favorite locations. I should not have to be, but I will be on alert while shopping at the location and I will take action if I am profiled and harassed again. I did nothing wrong and do not deserve to be treated this way because of someone's misguided perception. read more
