Thought that would be a great idea since the other one was one I had considered buying before. Except it was a completely different perfume in the package and I didn't realize til I got home.. being short on time (always) I came back today before work. I'm pretty good at planning time, this should be an in and out trip. I come in the Sephora area grab what I need and go to the register quickly, I overhear the Sephora person helping someone out, but no problem. Eh.. comes to the register and tells me she'll be helping the other customer first.. sure whatever. Then she's asking the customer to sign up for beauty insider and it's an older lady, no hate but she's not gonna speedy when you just hand her and iPhone to fill in all this info then she has to get a code from her email and such.. so I'm getting a little irritated. Sales rep notices and says she'll help me while said lady finishes her BI registration. Cool. Got out quickly but it was a little bit of a mess, caused by their first mess. Felt prompted to review because of that. Second girl saved it and both were nice maybe they just need someone or two to ACTUALLY run the little Sephora hut there. Nice Kohls.

Because they can outlast and survive anything. It's a shame the mall is so dead because the phoenix theater is the best theater in the area. We drive from Toledo to enjoy movies there. If you're hungry there is one Mexican restaurant in the Food court, but unfortunately Mrs. Fields closed recently. One other highlight is the pinball arcade. Some really cool vintage machines.

I sent my sister in with cash and my loyalty info to get me the advertised sale. The shelf talker was still up from yesterday and it said "half off all sheet sets". My sister loaded her cart and asked if they would still honor it and they said no. New manager also said no. Then they asked if she still wanted it and she said no. But because she is polite she took all her stuff and put it back and left. Because i have 30 years of retail experience, with everything from big box to boutique, from $500, 000 in sales to $14, 000, 000 as a softlines manager, i told her she did the right thing. Her time is money and i don't like it being wasted. I had to walk my dept. before opening to make sure all signage was correct. So, no one did that this morning at the Monroe store. And because she still had to spend my money, she went to Meijer.

This outlet mall is sad. It was thriving back in the 80's when my parents would take me and my…read moresiblings there for back to school shopping. I stopped by this outlet mall a couple weeks ago. I wanted to get my daughter some spring clothes and I knew Carter's was still open. It was depressing to see how vacant and run down this place has become. Carter's was very nice and there were other people in there shopping but the rest of the mall was a ghost town. I think there was only one other store open in the strip of stores with Carter's. Across the way was some sort of store that was closed for the day and a Dress Barn. I drove around on the cracked and pot hole road and found a Levi's outlet but that is it. Everything else is boarded up. I'm not sure how much longer the remaining stores will make it.

Nowadays, there is a Dress Barn, a Levi's outlet, and some stores I've never ever heard of. The place is choked with weeds and cracked pavement and reeks of failed enterprise.
