After a mix up with the payment method, I called customer service, who then assured me that the entire $40 late fee had been waived and I was left with a balance of $0 after paying off my card. Imagine my surprise when I opened a subsequent statement and there was a balance for the late fee and late fees for the late fee! What??? So I called CS again who at first told me there was nothing they could do, but then later in the call told me they could waive only $15 of the $31 fee. I said fine, I would like to pay that off now. Oh wait, they said, it is a $9 fee to pay it over the phone. Hold my beer while I pay it online I said. So I pay the new fee online, but the credit won't show for three days, and I tell them to cancel my card. She says she cancelled it but I see no confirmation of that in the account and she refuses to send me a confirmation email. Protocol, she says, is I have to just believe her and the confirmation will be coming by snail mail in 7-10 days. Will this headache ever end??? Seriously. Save yourselves!!! This has been a PSA.

When I called the store I spoke with Jenna because the manager was not there and would not be there until Monday (it was Friday). I asked her to mail them to me since I don't live close. She told me that they don't do that. So I told her that I wanted the number to the district Manager. She wouldn't give it to me and then said she would call her store manager and then call me back. I received a callback from her shortly after and she said that they would go ahead and mail them to me, but it's not something they usually do. And also told me that they would not mail them until Monday. Unfortunately, the two pairs of pants that I had did not fit my daughter and I had to drive back to the store to return them. When I got there I told them I Have two pairs of jeans waiting for me. They found a package and when they opened up it there was only one pair of jeans! I specifically told her several times on the phone that there were two pairs of jeans that they did not put in my bag!! So in the long run I'm glad I went back in. I would have been even more mad to get a package a week later with a missing by pair of jeans. I'm done shopping at Children's Place!
