If you're anywhere near Jordan Landing and haven't been, you're missing out! There's seriously so much to do here. The shopping is great, there are tons of restaurants to choose from, and there always seems to be something fun going on. I especially love all the free family events. It's such an easy way to get out and not spend a ton of money. I've been to Jordan Landing so many times and still find new places to check out. You can go thinking you're just going to make a quick stop and somehow end up shopping, grabbing a bite, and spending the whole day there. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Jordan Landing is a beautiful outdoor shopping location! So many stores and restaurants to choose from. Also, they host a variety of free community events! Their summer concert series was super fun and they also have monthly Kids events in addition to holiday events. Every time I go to one, I'm impressed with all of the businesses there who participate and the overall community feel. I'm also really excited to see World Market opening there soon! read more

There are a lot of great shopping and food options in the area, though the whole plaza isn't really walkable, as there are some busier roads and large parking lots breaking it up. Regardless, it's still a fun place to come spend an afternoon with the family read more

Over the last year, I've noticed some improvements to Jordan Landing-so I thought I'd update my review. What I've said previously still stands-especially about the roads and the traffic. On a recent visit, my son and I enjoyed some ice cream outside near the splash pad. There were tables for people to sit at (although they were covered in sticky melted ice cream) and a neat seating area. It is a place I look forward to visiting. I've heard that there will be some local musicians playing live music too. I can't wait to go check it out! read more

Seriously just driving through trying to decide where to go and the traffic is soo poorly managed and so bad that I honestly can't see myself coming back for several months until they get this figured out. A bunch of lanes, roads, and sidewalks are blocked off, but no one is visibly working on the site. Ridiculous. Unless you have to come here specifically for something, Avoid it at all costs. read more

I'm not a fan of the stop signs every few feet. Wouldn't have been better to put roundabouts in to keep the traffic flowing? Bad layout and it's hard to get in and out of some of the stores. read more

I have one word to describe Jordan Landing. It's a little blue to say here, but I'll say it rhymes with "dumpster truck". Indoor mall, outdoor mall, mixed-use malls and development, there's none less user-friendly than Jordan Landing. See, The Crossroads of Taylorsville is a similar in its station-to-station design, but they have SIGNAGE. Here, you mostly have to get out your Google Maps or feel your way around. I wouldn't want to freeze my tookus off in either one during the Christmas shopping season (which I did on this day), but at least I know where I'm going at the Crossroads. I'm S.O.L. at Jordan Landing. The bigger problem is its layout for drivers ... it's one big left turn. I spent 3-4 minutes waiting to make on left turn because there was so much traffic (it was Saturday). THEY NEED MORE STOPLIGHTS. This four-way-stop thing is a mess. I know it's hard to fix something that was created by some planner 18 years ago, but man, it's frustrating. And the shops skew heavily toward women ... specifically women's clothes. I know there's usually more for the ladies at any mall, but this is a pretty big discrepancy. I get the need for having women's stores ... or having a store with more women's clothes with men, but Jordan Landing has WAY to many women's-only stores ... and women's stores that you don't know ONLY have women's clothes until you're 2 feet deep in pink (I'm talking to you, Aeropostale!) The restaurant selection is pretty good (with Tepanyaki Japanese Steakhouse being their best), although stay away from Applebee's, 'Bout Time, Chili's, Costa Vida, and Johnny Carino's (which has sadly dropped off in recent years). So, basically, you'll only find me eating here. In my opinion, Jordan Landing is the worst mall development in the Salt Lake Valley. read more

What's to like? Oh, there's lots of variety here. From the massive Sears to the Kohls, Ross, Lowe's, and just about every other big and medium-sized retailer. Even if it's not your thing, the fact that they're all packed in here is convenient so if you do have to hit one up, you've got options around. You've also got a few dining options that aren't too bad, and a nice movie theater with some size to it. I prefer small-town old-school movie houses, but I've got no complaints for the mahoosive Megaplex here. So why am I not totally in love? A few things come to mind. First, it's really spread out. I can't imagine that they use up all the parking. I can only imagine that there are some parking spaces that have never been utilized. While ample parking is definitely one of the perks of JL, it also means that you have to traverse parking lot after parking lot to get where you're going. That brings me to the other thing I don't love--getting around inside of here. Now, I'm pretty good with directions and getting where I want to, but the road here drives me nuts. You come in from the south side and the road wraps you up further to the west. The thing is so spread out and so large that unless you know exactly where the store is you're looking for, you're probably going to spend some time driving around before you find it. When I lived in West Jordan, I frequented Jordan Landing regularly. Now I'm in Riverton I inherently prefer the District, it's just a convenience thing. However, Jordan Landing pretty much does have it all, it's kind of hard for it not to have since it is truly gargantuan in size. It truly is a one stop shopping experience, it has just about every major store you could imagine and as a result I still find myself visiting from time to time. It also has a pretty decent movie theater and tons of options for dining out. If there's one thing missing from Jordan Landing, it's a Costco. I mean come on, really? No Costco. Everything is better with Costco. I think I've made my point clear! I must admit, I do tend to enjoy the outdoor type malls, but unlike Gateway (Downtown), this one, like the District too, is one you pretty much have no choice but to drive around. It's just too massive and inconvenient to walk from store to store easily. And therein lies one of my biggest gripes - why does nearly every intersection on the main road through here have to be 4 way stops? In recent years, newer intersections have been added that are lights. But the main road, well let me just say, people don't seem to cope well with 4 way stops in these parts. And at first it's a novel battle of wits with all the other crazy drivers trying to wend their way to their next store of choice, but it soon starts to wear a bit thin and kind of ruins the whole experience for me. read more

Here is my issue with this area; I can't find anything. It is sprawling and has everything! I love it and I love the stores but it needs signage. If you use gps it takes you out and around and back... So, the lesson is, know where you're going. Pull up a map before hand or be lost forever.... read more

Pretty much an unqualified disaster. If you must go there, for some reason, stick to the stores closest to either 7000 S. or 7800 S. Venturing into the middle is an immediate exercise in the complicated futility of ignorance as well as being modeled after a child's interpretation of a spaghetti bowl. Streets literally wander around on a whim and even if you park the car and try to venture out, trying to read their idiotic maps, whereby they just map stuff generally, leaving you to walk the entire blocks to try to find whatever stupid store you were dumb enough to stop enough and try to locate, it gets no better. It's almost as if they don't want you to be able to find anything. It's sucked since they built it and is only getting worse. There is some ok stuff in there, mostly chains, but nothing particularly special, so it's hardly (as in not at all) necessary. This sprawling mess is a lot like someone ate a model of the Gateway and then puked it up all over a section of a map of West Jordan. Whoever planned this out should be sentenced to carry by hand, all visitors to the area, who would park their cars on the lots immediately on 7800 S. and/or 7000 S.. for their entire shopping experience and then drag any purchases along in a beat-up Radio Flyer behind, all while whistling Camptown Races. I have been going to Jordan Landing for a while ever since I was a teenager they have good food service also a good a good movie theatre and places are really clean and everything is very close to each other so it's is easy to get to places. read more

The best movie theater in town. It has the most comfortable seating. We used to be Megalex customers but made a switch to Cinemark at Jordan Landing. Jordan Landing could use some better restaurants but besides that, we're big fans. read more

Jordan Landing is fine. It's your typical outdoor mall. You have your blend of clothing shops (Nike, Old Navy, rue21, Ross) department stores (Kohl's, Lowe's, Target, WalMart) eateries (Bombay House(the greatest!), Sakana(also not bad) Bout Time(a bar)Black Bear Diner(sucks), and a theater. There seems to be a lot of empty space. Sucks that they forced Bout Time to move away from the theater since grabbing a quick drink before a movie was something I enjoyed doing. When I have a specific thing I need to get, coming here isn't bad. But if I'm trying to just waste time or go window shopping, then this isn't really the location that I'd choose. read more

Jordan Landing is a place that I frequent a lot. I'm a big fan of places that have everything, all in one spot. I always prefer shopping, dining and entertainment. If I can find places that combine all these three together, then I'm happy. Jordan landing has that. Has variety of shops. Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Sam's Club, Sears and more. A bookstore. Plenty of restaurants. A great 24 hour gym and a movie theater. It just has it all. There's also a Nike outlet store. Definitely a place where you can get a lot done all at once. read more
