I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by TJ Morgan Inc. My family was without air conditioning for nearly four weeks in the middle of summer. For the last two weeks alone, I was repeatedly told that my part had arrived and that a technician would come "tomorrow." Tomorrow never came. Every time I called, I was given a different excuse: the part wasn't actually in, it wasn't on the truck, or it was expected that day. This cycle continued for two weeks with no communication, no follow-through, and no concern for my family. The delay had serious consequences. My home reached temperatures between 87° and 92°, and I had to take two of my children to the emergency room for heat exhaustion. One of my children had a temperature of 102.5°F due to the extreme heat inside our home. After finally repairing the unit, the repair didn't even last 24 hours. The system is now making extremely loud noises that shake my ceilings and walls, and it is no longer cooling properly. The air conditioner has been running continuously without reaching the temperature set on the thermostat, which tells me the repair was not completed correctly. This entire experience has been unacceptable. I was repeatedly misled, left without air conditioning for weeks, and now I am dealing with another malfunction immediately after the repair. I have lost confidence in this company and would not recommend them to anyone. read more

TJ Morgan was sent by AHS for my a/c not working in April. It has been out for over 5 months.

My house got to 106 degrees and I have been out of my home for 5 days with nowhere to go. I called the phone number sent to my phone for TJ Morgan that was sent to me and the lady that answered was awful. She had no respect or empathy for what I was dealing with and was just flat out rude and unprofessional. She told me she didn't know what to tell me and sent me on my way. Would not recommend working with them and they should hire a more respectable recep to answer the phones. She is the one that really gave me a bad taste in my mouth about them. Horrible. read more

worst service ever. Ac stopped working in home for over 2 month now AHS has sent this same company out over 4 times. capacitor change then removed coolant then added coolant back then then then!!!! SMH with a set of twins my wife is trying to manage in a 86 degree home and 100 outside. A $500 electric bill and these guys say theres nothing wrong with my unit that does not shut off or cool. Confirmed damaged to coils and now leaking water all in my pan. Requested new contractor but AHS refused to send any one else out. Do yourself a favor a use someone else. Would give 0 stars but thats not a option here. read more

TJ Morgan was sent by AHS for my a/c not working in April. It has been out for over 5 months. They came here and put a new upstairs unit in. It has never worked. The company says they do not know why it is not working and they have done all they can do! They were paid for this unit and it has never worked! At one point they found parts left out of it and who knows what else was left out if it! It is 82 degrees in my house! read more

John is very unprofessional and rude. The first guy he sent, Chris, was completely incompetent of even assessing the problem. The second guy he sent, Patrick, was very nice and fixed part of the problem. I paid the second guy thinking that the entire problem was taken care of, but, it wasn't. I had to call John again, and he was not very friendly or helpful. Told me he would send another guy out the following day. I missed the guy's call the following day, but called him back as he was leaving me a voice mail. He didn't answer. Once again, had to call John. John turned very unprofessional and told me it was my problem, not his, and he wasn't going to finish the job...and hung up on me read more

They lied to me and tried cheating me $450. I went with another company and had way better results. Do not use them do not trust them customer service is trash and they refused to help the customer there in it for the money and cheating people out of there wallet read more

They are not competent and don't use them. My unit was silent and suddenly became excessively noisy and they have no idea why. Your never gonna get a straight answer with this company. They can use a bunch of fancy words like cavitation, cubic feet, return air, Merv ratings on filters to give explanations, but they have no real answers or solutions. Plus if they come out because of AHS, they will definitely be even more difficult to work with and even more sketchy with their write-ups. For me....The tech came out and inspected the unit, he took off the door, shined a light in the unit, and that was it. He said the noisy sound is because the door was vibrating and he "fixed" it with duct tape. This is the 30 years of experience you get....he left without offering a valid explanation causing the noise. John Laflour, the manager came out to give his opinion. With his 30-40 years of experience, he said it was because the filter i was using and could not explain why it has become noisy. He "in my opinion" does not make honest or ethical statements and write-ups about the state of the unit. These are not engineers, nor are they technicians, "in my opinion" they are 30-year laborers that can replace a part or two but don't know anything about HVAC. read more

We have AHS and this company is listed as a partner. We just experienced the worst service ever. Not only from the technician, just because he had no clue in regards to AC units (we have a typical central AC/Heating unit); but also from the "manager" John Lafleur. We were instructed by John that because he had completed all of his authorizations for the day he would "NOT" contact AHS to verify our coverage. Well, needless to say this company should never receive anyone's service. I had to contact AHS myself for information on my warranties and was instructed that this company is not familiar with our unit. WORST SERVICE I'VE EVER RECEIVED, NO PROFESSIONALISM! read more

Through American Home Shield TJ Morgan came to replace a thermostat. It worked fine for about 12 weeks then died. They sent him out again and he said that there was a wire that was not connected and then charged me $75. When I reminded him that he was the one that installed it, he said that if he had been hired directly he wouldn't charge me, but because it was through AHS and over 60 days, he would charge an additional $75. A couple of years later, in the August heat here in SETX, our A/C went out. Called American Home Shield and TJ Morgan is again dispatched. Two days later, not even the courtesy of a phone call to schedule the appointment. I hired someone on my own. I don't know how anyone can stay in business like this. read more

Like others have stated this company was sent out as a second opinion by AHS. My mother's unit was running constantly and would not shut off. My mother determined it was the thermostats due to having the unit approx 30 yrs. The first company Absolut Air came out and said it needed freon. I explained it had to more to it. The service man David got pissy and stormed out. That is another company to avoid. The service man from T J Morgan showed up and was extremely friendly. I explained the problem and showed him where everything was. The service man looked over everything and SEEMED knowledgeable as he spoke. He mentioned the unit had damage from dog urine which I explained that happened over 10yrs ago and we no longer have a dog in the backyard. He wrote up his report and listed that issue on his report. He also stated that he agreed with the first A/C guy that the unit just needed freon. Well he advised AHS about the dog urine so the refused to further assist with the problem despite the dog urine being over 10 yrs old and the unit has worked fine since. Well after dealing with AHS twice my mother called a guy out on her own that was recommended by coworker. He determined it was the thermostat, changed it and the unit has been working fine ever since. I want you to know we got a second opinion through American Home Shield and that company T J Morgan agreed with your guy. My mother called a third guy out recommended by a friend and he agreed that it was the thermostat. He changed the thermostat and she has not had a problem since. I said all this to say either you need to get out of American Home Shield's pocket and do better by your customers or retrain your service men to learn how to properly diagnose a problem. Horrible customer service will ruin a company if word spreads that is how you do business. Four complaints with the BBB in the last year??? Tsk tsk. Believe when the subject of A/C work comes up I have told quite a few about this experience and the name of your company. Good luck in the future. read more
