I've never been happy with my teeth. So alas, I went to my local dentist who checked me out and referred me to this place. Why? I do not know as it is in a bit of a random location where I have to take either bus, DLR, or car. Walking distance would have been better but luckily I drive and luckily you're allowed to use ASDA's car park nearby to park up for free. BUT when you come out of the dentist with blood dribbling down your mouth after having been through two teeth extractions and with a disorientated mindset, how is one suppose to drive back home without worrying about spilling some blood on the dash board and crashing into a tree? Anyway, my first impressions of this NHS/private practice were that it was just ok. Very clinical and boring. And there always seems to be the same two orthodontists at work. So there is usually queue of people waiting to be seen as I walk in. Waiting time for my appointment varies from about 5 mins to about half hour once I've arrive. The orthdontist I've got seems friendly and chatty. The other staff however ought to smile a bit more. They can drag down the whole atmosphere with them it seems. Receptionists also need a bit more training in people skills. A simple hello would suffice Ok, so enough of me moaning. So far, I've had 4 teeth pulled out (traumatic experience i must say) and am awaiting for my braces to be put in. My orthodontist so far seems to be friendly, professional, and good at his job. My only critique would be that he always seems to be rushed off his feet and so no real focus can be made to a single patient.

I had to pay for the dentists mistake. On top of that they filled in the tooth with the instrument inside which caused serious pain after a few weeks and the cap fell off to leave me with a chipped tooth which I ended up paying a fortune to repair. Again errors happen but I was completely insulted and unimpressed with how they handled it. Spoke to both the dentist and management at the time. my issue is more with the management than with the dentist. So rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend this place at all.

Before I could get public transport directions I was cut off. Anyway the next day we made our way there with a twenty minute walk (took over an hour and a half) only to be told that the appointment was cancelled, I mentioned that when I received the call the previous afternoon, I could've been told then and that it would've saved us the journey. The manager's attitude was...... Not our problem. We were offered an appointment for 2pm (Two and a half hours later) the same day but with no guarantee that we would be seen then. It seems like those NHS customers take a back burner with this dental company, I doubt that what I was told was the truth. Web sites show that this company has a pretty bad reputation and I assume that they take on NHS customer for the extra business and cash that it generates. All complaints seem to have the same standard reply; this goes to show their contempt at all NHS clients. If your dentist says that they have to refer you to an external dentist please enquire as to whom they will send you to and please avoid this cavalier company. I was given the name of Sabena but I doubt if this is a real person considering that they had already lied to me.

I had braces fitted, when they were removed and the bonding removed from my teeth the dentist 'Francesca', chipped one of my back teeth. She told me one price to have the braces removed then when I went back it was another price (higher). I felt very uncomfortable and quite scared to be in her hands in the end. She practically drilled off one of my white fillings. The brace brackets kept falling (literally within an hour of leaving) off which meant delayed treatment and more money spent on appointments and adjustments. My teeth weren't even straight when the braces come off. She sent a free retainer which was great but I've now been in treatment for 1 year and 9 months. It's crazy. I accidentally broke my top teeth retainer so naturally called them to send off for a new one. They apparently no longer have my scans (it was only 6 months ago). And they will do me a 'discount' to come in and have the scans again and order a new one of the reduced price of £150 from £200. I have found a local place for the same price of £150. Awful awful experience. Customer service is rubbish too. Please do not come here.

I visit a dentist (different ones) on a very regular basis and have never heard of what he tried to "scare me" into there and when spoken to normally and provided with options my health is my #1 priority and I'm happy to spend money on it if necessary or even just "helpful". however I left that place just thinking "what the hell was that?!" and 85£ lighter which were nothing but an absolute waste of money and time...
