I honestly believe one patron sneered at me. The person assigned to cut my hair seemed uncomfortable using scissors. And when I made the mistake of consenting to clippers, they disregarded my instructions, hacked away, and gave me a generic barbershop haircut--for twice the price of a generic barbershop haircut.
