She came out from the back room and was very upset that I was in the store. She told me they didn't open for 6 minutes and I needed to get out. I asked if it would be ok to just wait at the counter as I have a bad ankle and am trying to not walk more than necessary. She said no because I shouldn't have even come in. She did let me leave the router and shipping stuff on the counter. I stepped outside. I didn't have a phone or watch on me, so no way to tell time. After what seemed like more than enough time, I opened the door and asked if it was 10 yet. She rolled her eyes and looked back down at her phone. I waited longer. Again opened and asked and she said, yes it has been for a while. Apparently letting me know would have been way too much work. I returned to the counter and she informed me that they do not take the WiFi equipment back and I needed to go to UPS. I asked why I was told to bring it here on my last visit and she told me I had probably talked to her manager, but she doesn't take equipment back. I had a question on what all needed to be returned and she told me she also did not handle that. When I got back to my car it was 10:07. She made me stand outside past when the store opened only to tell me she wouldn't help me. She could have told me that before making me stand outside. I would NOT recommend going to this store. Several months passed and when I finally got around to stopping by the office I was told that that employee screwed up a whole bunch of stuff and had been fired months ago. Finally, I believe, around 2 years of completely losing my mind about how much money we were being overcharged someone eventually realized the mistake and in the end we were still TSOL. I can't remember how many years we've been with this company, but when we first got into their service, I was still working for their parent company (TDS TELECOM used to be a parent company, I'm not sure if they still have any affiliation) and at that time it was free, as a benefit package with my job. That was 2006. If T mobile didn't suck so bad they'd be an option. Verizon, same thing. Now that I think about it, and can't think of any other companies, I'm recollecting the cold hard reality that my actual immediate home address is in a strange dead zone. Meaning that US Cellular was the one service that my house could get a decent signal. That was years ago, but the two neighbors that I recently spoke to about this issue told me they too were stuck inside the US Cellular web network because of that same problem. I wanted to delete my review, since I now pretty much despise Yelp. I'm systematically trying to delete every single one of my reviews but it takes more time to get rid of them than it did to write them in the first place. Well, not really but it's a damn pain.

Our latest issue came when I lost internet for three days. I work from home, so it's kind of important. They wouldn't prioritize me since it was just me, so I had to wait, costing me a day off and all my mobile data as I used my hotspot. Finally a tech came out and said the cable from the pillar outside was pretty old (aka "original"), so he ran new stuff to my house. They'd send someone a couple days later to bury it. Cool - things seemed better after that. However, that night (like at 3am), a truck pulled up and monkeyed with that box. The next morning, I was down again - all services. Calling it in started troubleshooting all over from scratch. Like, you couldn't just look up the work order to see what those guys did? And have them come fix it?? LONG story short, it was a big issue, and had any homes been downstream from me, they would have had issues too (so the cable-burying guy told me). Eventually they got it working again.
