The guy who runs this place may be good at repairing phones, but leaves a lot to be desired regarding customer service. I brought in a phone that had water damage. I took it to another phone repair place in town who wasn't able to do much for me. On a recommendation, I brought it here to see if Mobile One could anything for me. When I told the guy the backstory, he proceeded to take a few minutes to explain to me how terrible the other place is, running down the list of reasons why he's way better, while simultaneously refusing to even look at my phone because he "Won't touch it after the other place had touched it." Then offered me a deal on a refurbished phone. Hence the one star. I don't doubt they're capable at fixing phones. However, I left with the impression they're difficult and unhelpful. read more

They are very knowledgeable and always willing to answer any questions. Instead of making an appointment at Apple, I can get my tech questions answered here. I liked the old owner, Robert, who was always available to help me with any issue I had both hardware and software related. I just found out there is a new owner and was nervous I would not receive the same service. Turns out the new owner, Artie, is just as, or even better at customer service than Robert was. I watched Artie serve multiple customers simultaneously, efficiently and patiently. With differing levels of technical aptitude and differing levels of phone challenge complexity, he was able to handle it all graciously. I didn't see him charge one customer for his services, which makes me wonder how he makes money to pay the rent. I hope many frequent this establishment to support an entrepreneur with high integrity! read more

Great service at a low price. Mobile One fixed my phone after I dropped it and smashed it up, and now it looks brand new. He has several mobile voice/data service companies to recommend that are less than half the price of the major phone companies. They will save you money and give you more personalized attention than a big company. read more

Where to start -- I called this company and spoke with John about requesting some assistance with unlocking a phone for which I already had the unlock code. In addition to being extremely unhelpful, John was also very rude (off the charts so). Needless to say I took my business elsewhere. Einstein Wireless on the east side was able to help me with a smile -- and *free* of charge. When I called back to tell Mobile One Wireless (a) that their service on the phone was unacceptably horrible and (b) another company was extremely helpful and may get my business in the future, John was entirely uninterested. Then he hung up on me. Twice. I called back and asked to speak with a manager. At this point -- after trying to explain my concerns in a very polite, friendly way, I was spoken to aggressively and with profane language. I was threatened to be served with papers for harassment. I'm not making any of this up. I was told my phone calls were being recorded and that they knew my name. The person on the other end of the phone -- who identified himself as the owner, Rob (would not give his last name) -- also warned me not to call back, implying further retaliation. WOW. At the very least, these folks have anger management issues. At the very worst, I honestly would be afraid to run into them in a dark alley, let alone their storefront. Thank goodness I didn't actually need my cell phone repaired. And I sincerely hope no one else has to be subjected to this same kind of intimidation. There's absolutely no excuse for this, particularly not when the folks at Mobile One Wireless are expecting to be paid for performing a service. I filed a better business bureau complaint and let Mobile One Wireless know. Rob said he did not care, did not want my business, and is successful enough that he is able to pick and choose his customers. Ah, if only we could all be so lucky. read more

I have been to get my phone fixed there twice. The repair was good although the customer service is horrible. I was always rushed when I was talked to. The guy I spoke with was always rude. I kept going because of the good work and low price. But the customer service has completely turned me off from going again to this business. read more

This store has a new owner for over 2 years now and he is way better than previous owner. He is very friendly, very knowledgeable and provides a fast service for all your needs. He has done plenty repairs for me within hours so i was never left too long without a phone. His prices are very reasonable as well, in fact they did beat majority of prices around town. Artie, (sp?) the owner had helped me with my phone after I took my phone (HTC Evo) to get my screen fixed by my phone company (who later broke my phone even more- by trying to fix it). I came there in tears because I thought all of my pictures that could have been lost forever (kid pictures). He disabled one of his phones to use the parts that the phone company broke- saved all of the pictures and I was able to download them to a flash drive. He was nice enough to work around my busy schedule. Great to work with- and he really knows his stuff! Thank you again for saving all of my children's memories from my old phone! read more
