She told me that I was limited to six items, not to leave a mess, and that the store closes at 8. While I understand store policies and closing times, the way it was communicated felt dismissive and accusatory. I had just come from the gym and was dressed casually, and I couldn't help but feel that assumptions were made about me based on my appearance, as if I were going to leave a mess in the fitting room.
