Unfortunately, my experience at the Lyndhurst location was extremely disappointing and misleading. I walked into the store expressing concerns about my phone battery and explained that I was not financially ready for a major promotion or expensive upgrade. I was told that instead of paying close to $250 toward upgrading my current phone, I could simply open another line and only pay the taxes upfront. What was never properly explained to me was that I would now be responsible for paying for an entirely separate line every single month. Now I'm stuck with a bill close to $300 for a line I'm not even using. Had the manager clearly explained that adding a line would significantly increase my monthly bill, I would have NEVER agreed to it. I would have rather paid toward a simple upgrade instead of being locked into additional monthly charges. What upsets me the most is the lack of communication and transparency. I initially gave this manager a positive review because I thought he was professional and genuinely helping me, but this situation has turned into a complete mess. I contacted AT&T customer service and was basically told there wasn't much they could do. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with someone higher up regarding this issue because this experience feels extremely misleading. Customers especially first responders deserve honesty, respect, and full explanations before being signed up for additional services and charges. Shame on the management at the Lyndhurst location for handling things this way.

Horrified by the exchange I left with both phones to get service somewhere else which is what she suggested after I asked why she was being so confrontational. I kept my composure because it was ten right thing to do but the lack of professional was disturbing. I'll never return and will suggest to many others not to go there either. On 8/24/16 me and my friend came in to purchase a Lumee phone case, the ones that light up on the…read moresides. They had been promoting it on their Instagram for $35 and online it goes for a little over $50. They also claimed that the cases were authentic so I was all for getting one at a cheaper price, of course. Anyway, when we came in a gentleman named Juan assisted us and Showed us the case and how they work and all that good stuff. I was happy with what I saw until he told me they were $45 and when I mentioned the Instagram post he insisted that they were never $35 (see attached picture). Juan also reassured me that the cases were authentic and were cheaper then the online price so both me and my friend purchased them anyway. A day later my friend had realized that the cases were in fact NOT authentic and we had been lied to. Honestly, if I wanted a fake light up phone case I could've easily bought one off EBay or Amazon for like $10 so I was definitely aggravated that I spent so much on something that wasn't real even after being told it was. On 8/26/16 we went to the store to return them and that's when things started going south. Juan was there again and I explained to him why we didn't want them. He said he could take the return but that he could not process it himself and for us to leave our name, number and email address and that we should get the return within like three business days. Mind you, this was a Friday so I'm like okay I'll give it till the Wednesday coming up and we should be fine. Well Wednesday came and went and nothing. I emailed the store and got no response. waited a few more days and still nothing in either of our accounts - going on a week now. Finally I sent another email and the manager called me back. The funny thing is he made it seem like I was being dramatic over wanting my money back. He proceeded to tell me "it's only been a few days and that he's not in the business of stealing money." Excuse me, but a return does not take over a week, I'm sorry. Anyway he said he would take care of it that night which was 9/1/16 - I finally received my return on 9/9/16 which was two weeks after I returned the item. Dealing with the unprofessionalism of this place has been nothing but a headache. Honestly, the truth is that all these 5 star reviews are because they offer you a discount if you leave a good review. I would know, they asked me to leave one when I brought them my iPad to fix in the beginning of the year (review which I've since deleted). & even when I had my iPad fixed their was an issue then too..
