On 8/24/16 me and my friend came in to purchase a Lumee phone case, the ones that light up on the sides. They had been promoting it on their Instagram for $35 and online it goes for a little over $50. They also claimed that the cases were authentic so I was all for getting one at a cheaper price, of course. Anyway, when we came in a gentleman named Juan assisted us and Showed us the case and how they work and all that good stuff. I was happy with what I saw until he told me they were $45 and when I mentioned the Instagram post he insisted that they were never $35 (see attached picture). Juan also reassured me that the cases were authentic and were cheaper then the online price so both me and my friend purchased them anyway. A day later my friend had realized that the cases were in fact NOT authentic and we had been lied to. Honestly, if I wanted a fake light up phone case I could've easily bought one off EBay or Amazon for like $10 so I was definitely aggravated that I spent so much on something that wasn't real even after being told it was. On 8/26/16 we went to the store to return them and that's when things started going south. Juan was there again and I explained to him why we didn't want them. He said he could take the return but that he could not process it himself and for us to leave our name, number and email address and that we should get the return within like three business days. Mind you, this was a Friday so I'm like okay I'll give it till the Wednesday coming up and we should be fine. Well Wednesday came and went and nothing. I emailed the store and got no response. waited a few more days and still nothing in either of our accounts - going on a week now. Finally I sent another email and the manager called me back. The funny thing is he made it seem like I was being dramatic over wanting my money back. He proceeded to tell me "it's only been a few days and that he's not in the business of stealing money." Excuse me, but a return does not take over a week, I'm sorry. Anyway he said he would take care of it that night which was 9/1/16 - I finally received my return on 9/9/16 which was two weeks after I returned the item. Dealing with the unprofessionalism of this place has been nothing but a headache. Honestly, the truth is that all these 5 star reviews are because they offer you a discount if you leave a good review. I would know, they asked me to leave one when I brought them my iPad to fix in the beginning of the year (review which I've since deleted). & even when I had my iPad fixed their was an issue then too.. I took my iPad here on a Tuesday to get the cracked screen fixed. They told me it would only take a few hours and to come back that afternoon. I totally forgot about my iPad until Friday , which I take full responsibility for, but not even a phone call reminder? Weird. Upon dropping my iPad off, they insisted on having my password so they could "check that the screen works". I was hesitant, but did it anyway. I got an email from Apple 2 days later saying someone had tried to log into my account. King tech repair handled this situation professionally and provided me with their IP address to show that this had nothing to do with anything from their office. Coincidence I guess. Took my ipad 4 King Tech to get the screen replaced. The gentlemen there was very nice and professional. I didn't really care for the job done on the ipad. The screen works fine. It's an ipad that I use to watch TV while I'm working at my desk. I've owned it for while, and I am going to get an iPad Pro next year. Needless to say, I wasn't THAT picky about the repair. However, I didn't really like the result. I picked the pad up after 6 days. I had to ask if it was ready because no one contacted me until I contacted them 3 days later. Each corner of the Ipad has some type of damage, I found this odd since I had only remembered seeing damage on the one corner where it was dropped. I keep my ipad in a leather case. Each corner appears to have been pried with a tool. The glass was not completely flush. Some of was slightly raised around the edges. He did attempt to remove glue residue, but after a few hours, the glue reappeared. Maybe he might have used a solvent that caused it to appear transparent. He did try to remove it. I am not leaving negative stars because the guy was so nice. BUT, I would never consider taking the new iPad I am purchasing to this business for repair. I see other people have had decent results with their iPad so maybe this was a fluke. I didn't purchase insurance when I got this iPad, but I will do so for future purchases to avoid having to take it to a non-apple place. I repaired my own phone screen before and I know that once you press the screen onto the glue, it's pretty difficult to adjust it. Maybe they had this problem. It appears that they may specialize in phone repairs and not iPads. I like their business hours. Their facility is professionally run. All and all, it seems like a great place for phone repair. iPads are probably a lot harder to deal with. It cost me 86.00 bucks, including tax, to get it done. I'm fine with that. I don't want to invest lots of money for a device that I use for recreation. It stays in the case and the imperfect details will go unnoticed. So there you go. read more

Do not go here if you want your phone to work. Absolutely HORRIBLE. I brought them my iphone 7 2 weeks ago for a front screen replace and they broke my home button claimed liability a week ago for it but now they aren't claiming liability since they did so much damage to it. They claim to have a "tmobile" authorized technician but that is now known as a lie. They broke my phone and 2 weeks later i am still waiting on my phone which again i brought in for a simple screen change for professional technician which they obviously are not. Go to the mall or literally ANYONE else they can actually change your screen within an hr or even less and not try and screw you completly. read more

I broke my phone screen recently and King Tech was the only legit looking repair store in my area. I checked out their website before going and was really impressed with how straight forward and user friendly it was. I saw that you can book an appointment online but I decided to go without one and was greeted/assisted right away! Blake was very helpful and very customer friendly. He was able to fix my phone screen in about 15 mins!! I've had no problems with my phone since the repair and it looks flawless again. King Tech is definitely cheaper than going to Apple. Had my phone screen fixed. Started to experience unusual connectivity issues so i took it to Apple. I was informed and shown by a genius tech that my camera was switched out, the screen was not the right one for my device and they damaged the phone internally to make it fit. They even said the mother board looks suspicious as well but there is no point in going further as my warranty is now void. Basically had to buy a new phone. Not sure if its a lone employee playing the system or the company standard, either way.... if you choose to come here pls ask them to do the repair in your presence. read more

King Tech never fails to deliver. My iPhone 6 battery seemed to be worn out (bad idea buying 5 below chargers) and my phone would die every 2 hours. I called King Tech Saturday morning at 10am , brought my phone in at 11am and it was done by 11:15am. 15 minutes to change a battery and for 1/3 the price the Apple Store would charge. Best spot to get your device fixed! I had my iphone, ipad, macbook, and xbox all serviced here and honestly this spot is honestly the best place i could have ever came across. If there was a "no star" that's what I would have chosen. Needed a screen replacement. My son was quoted $79.99 price by phone, then when I dropped it off, I was told it would be $54.99. Was told I would be called within an hour when it was done. Never got a call so I called them 2 hours later and was asked how long it would take me to get there as they were closed and ready to leave. I get there in 5 minutes, the "new" screen had scratches and I was told it would cost $95 plus tax. Asked to speak to manager and was told "I can't reach one now". My phone was kept in the store until it could be resolved. Emailed when I got home and got a quick response from owner but they kept the phone until they were able to review the conversations, which are recorded. In the end I was charged $79.99 plus tax which was not what I was quoted in person, or what I signed and agreed to in the store. Find somewhere else with NEW equipment and honesty.
