He refused to service me with device pick up because they close in 2min (7:55) because they it's a long process.. BEWARE!!!! DO NOT DO ANYTHING AT THIS LOCATION!!! I simply went in for an exchange from another store and they did not want to assist. I was passed on from associate to associate to another associate who was in the back on her lunch. No one wanted to do an exchange because it would effect their store numbers. Not to mention they are not apart of TMobile corporation they are a licensed 3rd party location. After being told by one person they could assist they later said they couldn't and would require a manager approval for the exchange. Well apparently they did not have a manager, an assistant manager, a team lead, a key holder or anyone in the event of an emergency that could handle the situation. I felt discriminated against because of my race, their lack of professionalism and their willingness to help me as a BLACK man. One associate had the audacity to tell me I could call customer service and place them on speaker to talk to the store rep and she also said they were unable to contact customer on behalf of customers in store which is a total lie. After giving me the run around for about 30min they said I would have to purchase a new device and would be charge an "activation" fee for the new device. When I'm fact, TMOBILE has a company has NO activation fees at the moment. This is my formal warning via Yelp and I'm already filing a complaint with BBB along with their corporate office. Beware with this T-Mobile store. There's a girl named Silvia that tried to scam us and forced us to buy insurance for a new devise we bought last night. According to her it was obligatory and it was a new policy from Apple T-Mobile and any phone retailer and seller in the US. Of course we got it the way she said but we did out research next day and found out it was all BS We called and got the issue fixed but I will never go back to this store where people try to rip you off instead of helping you. We honestly need more people like her in this world because she was kind , sweet, funny, and most of all I loved that she laughed at all my jokes and even played along with my wife and I. Long time T-mobile customer I use to go to the T-Mobile store on victory and Laurel canyon then I found out one was closer and had easier parking on Webb/Lankershim and Starthern in a plaza with a 4 for less and Michoacana. I have gone several times to this newer location and have been helped by Hector Velis. He was extremely kind and helpful in helping us understand something on our bill. He had answers to all our questions and definitely helped with any problems and concerns we had. He made the process of coming to the store that much more bearable. He gave out a positive energy the whole time he attended us. Definitely recommend this T-Mobile and if you can request a person to assist you Hector Velis is who you should ask for! The parking lot is huge and plenty of spaces never really a mission to go, they attend you quickly. Have great music playing in the meantime! Most of the employees speak Spanish and are extremely friendly! read more

Worst customer service and incompetent managers. I came here awhile back looking to get an Apple Watch for my brother. I was told by the worker that I can buy one and get on half off, so I agreed to get two. A month later, when the bill came, I noticed that they lied to me because the second watch was not half off. I came back and spoke with the "store manager" and he said that there's nothing that could be done because his workers wouldn't have told me that. He told me that I'm stuck with it and I can't return it or get the deal I was promised. I called T-Mobile customer service and they told me the same. There is NO star for this store. Worse customer services! The sales are very incompetent and rude, especially the one that I dealt with: Leann. At the end, nothing could be done at this store even though the prepaid card hotline told me to come back to the original store. So here is what happened. About a month ago, I went to this store to get a monthly prepaid plan. The guy told me there is a $30/month plan which has unlimited phone calls, text and data (forgot how much). Its affordable and has everything I need, so I got this one. But guess what, after 21 days, it was disconnected. I went to two other T Mobile stores and called prepaid phone hotline, and it turned out that he gave me a "tourist plan." The lady from prepaid phone hotline documented the situation and directed me to the original store (which is this one) to get the credits. I went to this store and the sales responded to me, "this is a manager question, I can't answer that." "I'm new here. I don't know how to do that." "I don't work for you." "I can't call my manager because it's not emergency." She told me to come back another day when her manager is in the store. Umm, great. So you guys made the mistake and I have to rearrange my schedule for fixing this. BTW, both store manager and assistant manager were not there. I ended up asking her to give her manager a message that includes my name, phone number and issue details. Two days after, I did not receive any calls. It seems like either the sales didn't give the manager the note, or the manager himself is incompetent and that he didn't provide the right information to his team and didn't teach his team how to do the customer services right. I ended up asking my credit card company to cancel this transaction to get my money back. I decided to leave this review. And I just realized that a lot of people have the same experiences at this store. If you want to come here for T Mobile services, think twice! read more

I was told I can transfer a line and a leased phone to a separate plan because I wanted to help my cousin get a new phone because it was an emergency. We didn't have enough money and asked for our options so she can get her own plan since she would have to pay a big deposit for having her own. The employee told us about leasing a phone and releasing the number. I called the customer service hotline and these guys told me they can release the number but not the leased phone. I barely have any time and asked to speak to the person in charge through the phone. They said they will call me back and I never got a call back. This store has gone down really bad and it sucks because it was really good before. read more
