Here is an update. My first phone bill after adding two lines was $517.01 are you kidding me? One line suppose to be free and we were told that our monthly service was $130 including insurance for each phone. Never in my life that I had a $500 phone bill even when I had 5 phones with unlimited service and currently I have 3 lines only. I don't think I'll come to this department anymore. When I arrived, the guy who served me did not give my name, looked in my direction, raised his hand and beckoned me with his fingers to come to him. I've never encountered anything like this before. I didn't say anything, and during the conversation he didn't fully explain to me that I would be given some kind of temporary number because I was changing my data plan. The next morning, my phone number changed. The T-mobile support service did not tell me that when changing the tariff plan, they give me a "temporary" number. I came to the department to find out what was the matter. The girl who was talking to me was arrogant. I don't speak English well enough, but she reacted nervously to my requests. My friend was with me, who told her that she was talking arrogantly, there was an argument, my friend left the building. The girl who served me changed her tone. And it looked like I was a fool who didn't know that when you change your data plan, you get a temporary phone number. Although, when I applied for a tariff plan in this department, no one warned me about it. As a result, the number I was using was returned to me, but I was a little shocked by the way the staff was talking to customers. read more

Had a great experience at this TMobile store. We came here to switch from At&t, and not only were they able to cut our cell phone bill in half (yes, you read that correctly), but the customer service at this location; Gabriel in particular, was great. As I said, Gabriel was absolutely awesome. He talked us through all of the different options (I have a lot of questions), and all of the different promotions. He then helped us get all of our phones unlocked and our numbers ported over (maybe the most important thing). We had an issue with one of our phones getting unlocked and Gabriel was patient and helped us get it taken care of. Ultimately we were there for longer than I would have liked to be, but we never felt rushed and Gabriel helped us every step of the way. I'll also be coming back to try out their home internet. Recommend this location if you're looking to switch from a more expensive carrier. read more

So, I went on Sunday to surprise my mom with a new line and to upgrade my phone as well. My customer care representative was Baker. He was kind and patient, and was able to get both my mother and I upgraded phones. Today we had a few questions remaining, so we went back and found Baker. He went out of his way too explain everything in detail. We were a little slow in understanding the changes happening to the account, but Baker was incredibly understanding and patient, Abbas his communication was on point. My wife walks in with my son to buy a screen protector. They sell her a $40 screen protector that's indestructible. Some of us know we can get 3 for$10 on Amazon. This indestructible screen protector cracks shortly thereafter. They tell us we're SOL. Sorry. No warranty. Buyer beware. There's some shady business practices going on here. Who could imagine a trip to T-Mobile to handle no less than 4 matters could be such a lovely experience -- thanks, for the most part, to the wonderful, funny, friendly, totally efficient and cost-conscious help I got from Joshie. I stopped in on a Sat afternoon and it was BUSY. I was greeted by someone who said they would be with me shortly and the first person from the T-Mobile team who became available was Joshie. LUCKY ME. I started off by warning this bright-eyed, friendly fella that I had A LOT to cover: first, I needed to purchase a new phone for a new assistant and have it added to my monthly bill. Secondly, I needed a Wifi device for my business. Third, I was traveling out of the country next month and wanted to assure my international plan was up to the task and lastly, I wanted to switch over one of my employees from my business partner's plan to my plan. Honestly, I thought I would be there for HOURS. Within 5 minutes he handled two of those issues simply by looking up my plan and advising me. He was knowledgeable and fast! He made a thoughtful recommendation on which new phone to purchase and I got a 50% off deal in the process. For the WiFi he explained that I could try using my hotspot, showed me how to do it and told me if that didn't work I could come back in and purchase a WiFI spot but he didn't think I'd need it. Honestly, just that advice saved me over $200. And HE WAS RIGHT. I tested my personal WiFi spot for the purpose I needed it for last night and it worked GREAT. He set up my new assistant's phone AND through a T-Mobile special I received a FREE line that didn't cost me a penny. So to recap, I walked in thinking I would be there for HOURS. I was there for only about 45 minutes and at least 10 minutes of that was because I arrived at a busy time and they were helping other customers. I thought I would be spending hundreds of dollars. Nope, walked out spending $75. Also, had a nice chat with Joshie about my horses, him growing up in Utah and all kinds of stuff. Super nice guy and I will go back to this store just to have him take care of me / my telecommunications needs. He was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable, thoughtful, friendly and fast. For just a little while, Joshie made LA feel like a small town and it was really nice to feel welcomed and valued -- and for the deals -- I am also grateful. Thank you T-Mobile and thank you Joshie. **************BEWARE any "free gifts", it appears to be a way for sales associates to pad their sales.******************* In December 2022, after more than four hours of setting up a new family account and transferring the data of three phones, our sales associate offered me and my mother some free gifts. The gifts were three clip-on selfie lights and a digital tag like Apple's "airtag". My mom and I debated who would take the tag, I let her have it and took two of the selfie lights. Fast forward to July 2023: My mother gets the monthly bill, however, this month, I took a look at it because I traveled abroad and knew that I would owe my mother some extra $$ for international calls. While going over the bill I noticed two monthly charges for "OTHER DEVICES" with phone numbers we didn't recognize. One was for $5, the other was for $30. I called customer service and we clear up the $30 right away. Turns out the day after we went in together, my mother was having an issue with her phone and visited the T-Mobile store. Her sales associate tried to sell her on how great their modems are and said, "Here, just take it home and try it." My mom is in her mid-70s and couldn't figure it out, so she took it back the next day. All of this was in T-Mobile's records, however, we were being charged $30 a month anyway. They swiftly credited us back the $210 but why were we getting charged when the modem return had been logged in their system? Shady? We think so. However, the $5/month charge was for the tag given to us as a "free gift". Customer service explained that it WAS free, we were just paying for the monthly service. We said that was never explained to us, we didn't even know that the tag required service to be used, and my mother didn't know where the tag was because it had the value of a "free gift" and when she couldn't think of a use for it, she promptly lost it. We had to escalate our complaint in order to be credited for the $35 we'd paid in monthly charges and the $96 they say is the retail value of the tag, but they did it. This one is less shady on the part of T-Mobile billing, however, it was really uncool the way it was give to us as a "free gift". We asked if the sales associates earn commission on the modem and tag that they foisted on us and (not surprisingly) they do. **************Watch out for "free gifts", it appears to be a way for sales associates to pad their sales.******************* In general we've been satisfied with T-Mobile's service. We left AT&T after DECADES of being their customers and a huge rate hike. However, this experience has definitely left us wary. read more

I went into this store today with a device I purchase less than 24 hours after the purchase and they would not refund my total purchase. You are speaking to a person who claims to be the manager who has no name and neither do the either employees. I am speaking to this women and a guy very nasty interrupts and says we cannot do anything. If this in fact was the Manager then why would she allow an employee to speak on her behalf. The SIM prepaid card did not work or the device and they refused to give me my full refund. My daughter and I love coming here especially redeeming stuff for t-mobile tuesday. We got our phones in here as well and they help me fix some problems on my account. My family and I are been a loyal customers since I was 16. So that makes it 16 years using T-mobile. I think most of the employees here are very friendly and helpful. I have been with T Mobil for fifteen years and that being said they could care less. I purchased the new Iphone 14 that everyone wants and it had a terrible glitch that certain text messages would disappear after a couple of minutes. The persons name would be there, but is I went to the screen it was the wheel of death spinning on a white screen. They could not fix or replace the phone but have now charged me $70 as a re stocking fee. I am pretty sure that charging a re stocking fee for selling Faulty items is illegal, I don't have time to go all they way up the line on this so Sit with this. COMPANIES THAT DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS WILL NOT SURVIVE. read more

I needed a new screen protector, which I was told I was part of my insurance plan I purchased and that I could get free replacements as long as I had the insurance. I went to the N. Hollywood location first, waited in line about 45 minutes to be told they didn't have one in stock to fit my phone size. So I left and drove to the Studio City location. The woman I spoke to said they didn't have the screen protector I needed either but they would order it and mail it to me. That was about 3 weeks ago. I never got it, I am sure they didn't order it. Probably threw my information away as soon as I left and laughed at me, that's the vibe I got. What a waste of time and energy to even bother going to both stores to get what was part of my insurance plan. This is the location that I go to ONLY because Milton used to work here. Haven't seen him in a while, not sure where he relocated. He was the best employee I've ever worked with. Super nice guy and knowledgeable and patient about everything. But I wanted to write this review because the new employees now are just as awesome. I didn't get all of their names but I recently worked with PJ (Pablo?) and Jayme (not sure if I spelled her name correctly either). They have both went above and beyond helping me and were so patient when I had a ton of questions. Thank you for your excellent customer service and knowledge of products and promos. The 4 stars and not 5 is because every Tmobile in general usually has a long wait, which just really sucks and I really wish they had a self service machine to pay bills. read more

Not because they are making a ton of money for their corporate bosses, but because they are here to help YOU (Joe Consumer) save money and not blow dumb dollars on useless, overpriced crap. So being a woman of the world, I needed a new one, so I went to the T-Mobile store to see if my Sidekick was Bluetooth(leech on the ear) compatible. Well, to no surprise it wasn't, so I asked what other ear piece options I had. He walked me over to a turny thing (that's what those racks that spin are called) and pointed to a $32.00 ear piece. I looked at him and said, "Is that the only one you have?" Him: "Yes" Me: "Seems kinda expensive for an ear piece. I'm guessing I could find one cheaper somewhere like..." Him: "...You're right this isn't Radio Shack. This location is super close to our house, so it is the go to spot for when we need something that we can't do online. Fast service.... The staff seems friendly enough, they never try to push anything on you. They answer questions and get you in and out of there quickly.
