I wish I had read reviews about them before going in, but I will NEVER use this store again. I wanted to trade in my S8 for a S24. I paid them to transfer the data from my old phone to my new phone. As they were doing the transfer they told me I had too many photos and it would take a long time to do the transfer. They asked me if I wanted to finish the transfer at home. I said sure because I'd already waited an hour for them to do the transfer and it wasn't even halfway done. They showed me how to do the transfer at home, but did not tell me I would need to bring the phone back to get the trade in deal, and I left. This mess up was on me, because I should not have left when I paid for them to finish the transfer. When I went back within the hour because I could not figure out how to get the phones to transfer they told me the transfer had been completed. But when I left they told me it was not done... Do they not know when the transfers are done? Not sure where the miscommunication happened on that one. When I got home my Verizon account said I owed $800. I specifically told the sales associate multiple times that I wanted a phone that would be free with my trade in. After driving back to the store and asking why my account said I owed $800 when I told them I wanted a phone that would be free to me, they then explained that it would remain on my account until I traded in my old phone. Why did no one tell me this when I left with my two phones?? Then, after getting the phone my google started saying I had no available storage. My email is saying I will stop receiving emails in a week. The problem is I have deleted stuff in my Google drive 3 times and it still keeps coming back. I was hoping they could help me with that, but I should have known better than to expect an ounce of care from this store. I learned through the Verizon in Waynesboro that when the Staunton Verizon turned on my phone's backup to transfer things from my old phone to my new phone they transferred EVERYTHING, not just the photos. I then went back to the Staunton store, explained the problems I was having with storage, and all the sales associate I spoke with told me was "that's run through google, we don't know how to do that." I responded with "A Verizon sales associate doesn't know how to turn off backup on a phone?" He responded with "That is run through Google." When I tell you these people are doing the bare minimum I'm not kidding. They also signed me up for Disney Plus and other services without telling me I would have to pay after the first month. If you want people who actually know what they're doing, because clearly the sales associates in Staunton are just there to do the BARE minimum and get as much money out of you as possible, I recommend Verizon in Waynesboro, VA. They actually took the time to try and help me. If there was an option to give 0 stars I would.

I went to this store in Waynesboro, on Friday the 16th of August, as I had business in Waynesboro…read more I live in Charlottesville, VA and I have been a Verizon customer for many years. I have had numerous issues with the stores and personnel/management at the Charlottesville stores. I had just switched from an iPhone back to an Android and was having some issues that I couldn't fix. I went in and spoke to a lady named Tiara (unbeknownst to me she was the manager) and she was awesome! Answered all my questions and took the time to make sure that I knew everything I needed to know. I thought this level of customer service at Verizon was gone. I was so happy to get the answers I needed and leave with problems corrected instead of me having to worry about how I was going to fix them on my own. I highly recommend this store, ask for Tiara, and I am sure her staff is well qualified too. After the way I was treated in the Charlottesville stores it is worth the 30-minute drive for me to go to the Waynesboro store and speak to people who really want to help me when I am having an issue or needing to upgrade my phone(s). Thank you, Tiara, for great customer service! From a grateful long-time customer, +Fr. P. Robert Hanley

When I was told they could not do anything unless I knew the password or maybe it was remember something else. He said everything are "In the clouds" So I told him I wanted it disconnected that day.He assured me it would be. Well after calling every single month from from Dec. 2025 until April 2026.I went in April and talked to a woman who was not very friendly sitting in the desk on the right, had me in tears. All she could say was "You can leave now". She acted like she was not sure what she should do.So Dec. 2025 I paid $82.20 for one phone that worked, Jan. 2026 $82.18 for one working phone,Feb $112.50 for one working phone, $73.03 for one phone working. So April 3rd is when I went in to talk to the "uncaring" person who said I could leave now because I had tears rolling down my face, I told her to disconnect BOTH phones. They had been cheating me long enough. I even wrote a letter to Verizon about the trouble I have had and I even wrote a check to pay Aprils bill and told them do not take it out of my CC or checking acc. They did any way so I had to pay $35.00 to stop payment on the automatic payment on my check. My husband and I had been with them for 25 years or more and always had automatic payment. I wish I had never been with them after seeing hundreds and more of complaints about them. Thank you

By December 15, I'd received a call that the watch was fixed, but then they backtracked and said it was still losing its charge. From that point on, it was radio silence; I called them on 12/22 and12/31, each time without them being able to tell me what was wrong with the device. By 1/30, they told me that the device was unfixable and then would send it back to Charlottesville to get it to me. And again, I heard nothing. When I called on 2/10, I finally spoke with someone helpful who'd admitted that the watch had been lost in the mail. I asked that person what could be done, and they offered to see if the company could help me replace the device; I asked to get that in writing in the form of an email, which they obliged and sent on 2/11. I've now responded to that email two times (on 2/14 and 2/17) hoping to move forward with the replacement of my device or some kind of a refund, and no one has answered. Fruit Fixed showed embarrassingly poor communication and bad customer service. I have no idea how their rating is so high - I feel like many of these reviews can't be legitimate. I now have to purchase a new watch and can't use my previous device as a trade-in because they have refused to help me when it was lost in transit between their two stores, and when apparently no one who worked there even realized it was gone. Pathetic.

I urge everyone to look at Fixed Fruit's responses to the reviews. In each case, they twist the fact to place blame on the customer. This is an untrustworthy business that is unwilling to stand behind their work. Strong recommendation to avoid! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I visited Fixed Fruit for a simple battery replacement on my iPhone, but the experience left a lot to be desired. During the repair, the technician damaged my phone's screen. Although they admitted responsibility, they still tried to charge me for a new screen instead of fixing their mistake at no cost. While the staff were not rude, their unwillingness to correct an error they caused raises concerns about the ethics of this business. If you're looking for a repair shop that you can trust, look elsewhere

After changing my service plan with AT&T, my phone immediately stopped being able to make or…read morereceive calls and remained stuck in SOS mode unless I enabled Wi-Fi calling. It was hard not to feel like this issue conveniently appeared right after my phone was fully paid off and I changed my plan, especially since my existing phone was in perfect condition and I had no intention of upgrading. I visited the AT&T Store on Sunday, 5/10/26, where an employee named Coby informed me there was a promotion that would allow me to trade in my phone for a "free upgrade" with $1,100 in credit. Unfortunately, that information turned out to be inaccurate. Instead, I will only receive $830 in credit and now have payments on a phone I never intended to purchase. When I explained the service issues I was experiencing, Coby asked if he could check my cellular settings and troubleshoot the problem, which I agreed to. Unfortunately, his "testing" method was far less than impressive. His idea of troubleshooting was simply calling his own phone from mine to see if calls would go through -- which, of course, they did because I was connected to the store's Wi-Fi. I was disappointed because I genuinely expected him to review diagnostics, inspect the cellular settings, or perform actual troubleshooting steps. I am fully capable myself of making a phone call while connected to Wi-Fi. I was also told the new phone would arrive "next day," which was again inaccurate. When I returned to the store the following evening, Coby blamed UPS for the delay. However, after checking my AT&T app myself, I discovered the phone was never scheduled for next-day delivery at all -- it was estimated for Wednesday, 5/13/26. When I pointed this out and said, "Don't you mean Wednesday?" his response was that the tracking "isn't always right." Ironically, neither was the information I was being given in the store. Because of the misinformation, I made three unnecessary trips to the store. The entire situation could have been avoided with honest and accurate communication instead of guessing or overpromising. The one positive part of this experience was the employee working during my third visit. He was professional, honest, thorough while setting up my new phone, and genuinely apologetic for the situation created by his coworker. I regret not getting his name because he absolutely deserves recognition for providing the level of customer service I should have received from the beginning.

She is technology challenged and outright scared to do anything on her phone. She's nowhere near me and I could not help her via phone call so she went to the store to get assistance. The store had two employees and she told them what she needed assistance with, and they told her she had to go back to the store that helped her set up the bill pay (which was over an hour away - for her that's like saying 700 miles away) because that store is responsible for finishing the work that they failed to finish and that store was crap and they're always hearing complaints about them. They said per store policy they're not permitted to assist where another store failed to finish because the systems were different and they couldn't see what the other store can see. Total BS!!! These two employees should not be in a job where they have to interact with the public. This store should really reconsider what these two employees do for the company. Maybe they should just be a night crew stocking the shelves and emptying a truck. It's clear the store employees feel no shame turning away, an elderly person, needing assistance, a paying customer for decades, and trash, talking another store most likely in their region. I really hope the regional supervisor/manager sees this and really looks into the stores practices. Highly recommend not to go here and not trust the people in the store.
