All I got was a run around. The people at the 800 number said they couldn't take my payment and so couldn't set up an account, the people on chat either thought they could do it and were unsuccessful or didn't know how to try. The first dealer I called said they couldn't connect my hotspot to their network, even though I verified it was good to go on their website. Lot of going around in circles and not getting anywhere. This all changed when I called the Cricket dealer on 7235 W Greenfield Ave, West Allis, WI. I explained my dilemma to Robert, who told me "no problem, we can get you going" or words to that effect. I drove over and found Robert to be personable, but more importantly, very knowledgeable. Despite a few hickups in the process of getting my hotspot connected to their network, he quickly worked through the problems and got me up and running. If only I would have called that Cricket store first I could have saved myself half a day of frustration. I highly recommend this store, and especially Robert.

The employees were very friendly and helpful but they either don't use the product as full blown internet with no experience using the product or don't know . As a person who regularly uploads 4K HDR videos that upload at a rate at .81 mbps would probably take a week or more to upload, this is not real internet but a weak hot spot. Worst customer service ever! Purchased our phones back in June of 2017. Told our bill would be…read morearound $200 per month with all the fees, taxes, etc. First bill was almost $400. I figured ok first bill might be high since the way billing worked but nope next months bill was $360. Called US Cellular and they said they can't understand why they would have ever told me that. After hours on the phone and speaking to many different departments they were able to get my bill down to under $200. Everything they told us in the store was a lie. We also purchased screen protectors that came with a lifetime warranty and free replacement. My 15 year old son went in to change his cracked and peeling screen protector for the first time (18 months later) and they said it would be $10. He called me because he wasn't sure what to do. I asked to talk to the guy, Eddy, and he told me nothing on our account said we purchased them. I said that I have had nothing but problems with that store from the beginning and they are liars. He said that he would replace one time but never again and I said don't worry because we wouldn't be back. After I hung up with him he told my son he was very disrespectful and he shouldn't have called his mom and that his mom should never act like that. Well I got one better for you Eddy, don't lie and people won't act like that. Save your money and find another reputable dealer to help you! Thank goodness US Cellular had great customer service.
