Closest Briarwood Mall entrance to store: The main one between JCP and Macy's. Just walk straight…read morein until you hit the 't-intersection' and it will be right in front of you. The frustrating thing about having a store for a technology that it in and of itself renders place or material reality obsolete is that anything you can do in the store, you can do online or on the phone. And often times, you actually benefit from avoiding the store altogether. Case in point: I'm about 3 generations behind on the iphone and I finally had the iphone 4 passed down to me. This means I now need a micro SIM card. I called Tmobile and they said, "Just get it in store! It's faster!" "Oh yea! There's like, a real world out there! With in-person human interaction!" Representative cracks up. I hang up. I go to store. Wait in line for 20 minutes. Finally get to the counter. Guy tells me that online, the micro SIM is $1. In store? The card is $20. YARGH!!!! I go home. Try to order SIM card online. The website is experiencing 'system errors' for an hour. I end calling them and 15 minutes later, they put in the order. All in all, it took me 2 hours to replace a SIM card - something that should've taken me 10 minutes. I had a very similar experience with changing my phone plan. I went to the store to talk to someone about my options. After about 15 minutes conversing with the shopkeep, she tells me the plan I want I can only select online. So I go home, hop online, the site won't let me switch, so I spend 20 minutes on the phone bouncing from person to person until I can make the switch. The only thing the store is good for is if you are having a phone emergency (that you can't wait 2 days for USPS to deliver a solution) or if you want to play with different cell phones on display. Moral of this story: Even if you think it will be better to do something in store, or even online, don't bother. Just call them. You will save so much time.
