If I could vote 0 stars I would. The Akron store on Manchester Rd has crooks running it. I went for a new phone, I was told they had a promo for a free tablet and 25$ internet. What they did is hook up several lines, including on my old phone, never told me what they were doing, then when I get the bill and it was much higher than quoted, so I remove the lines not being used, now my bill is twice as high and now they're telling me it was all based on promos which I had no knowledge of and wouldn't have consented. Now they want $20 a month for this "free" tablet which they won't take back and internet is $50 a month. Long time customers treated absolutely poorly. read more

This used to be one of the few T-Mobile stores North of 275 and I would avoid this location like the plague because service was historically awful. This past weekend I stopped in to purchase a Oneplus 6t after striking out at other nearby locations. Sales associate, a young woman in her 20's, whose name I didn't get was extremely helpful, friendly and didn't pressure to buy extras. Transaction went smoothly and timely. My brother and I stopped in this location today to add him to my plan. I've had excellent customer service with T-Mobile in the past and I definitely wasn't disappointed with this visit. Josh greeted us upon arrival and explained our options to expand my plan. My account was giving him some trouble so he made a call to fix the problem. Our interaction with him was quick and simple but I was definitely still left with a good impression of T-Mobile as a brand. Good customer service to me is someone who is friendly, informative and treats me like they want my business. I will definitely be back in the future if I have any issues with my account and will surely update my review accordingly. read more

Terrible. I had been having epically bad service and my phone itself was acting weird too, so I decided to return to the T-Mobile location where I purchased the phone to get some help. I thought, calling the 1-800 customer service number never ends well, so a face-to-face interaction is bound to be better. I could not have been more wrong. The person I spoke to at the store was interested in one thing and one thing only- selling me a phone. Or a tablet. Or more features for my plan. I endured his sales pitch, but after I explained to him that I wasn't in the store to make a purchase, his demeanor totally changed and he made it clear that he couldn't be bothered with a customer he couldn't make commission off of. RUDE. He really didn't even want to help me with my phone and service problems, but as the other person working that day was assisting another customer, he wasn't left with much choice. If I have to return to this store again, I will be sure not to patronize this young man ever again. Not until he learns some manners. read more

I have been a mobile customer for ten years . I had an issue with my phone a couple weeks ago so I went to the store and they replaced it under warranty. They also sold me a $40 screen protector. Well the screen seemed to be unresponsive sometimes so I pulled the screen cover off only to find that it is the screen itself is quirky. I have been to the store twice now where I have had to wait in long lines and then they tell me to update operating system which I do but it still doesn't work so I go back and then they say I shouldn't have updated. Either way I have a broke phone they sent me and won't fix. The employees have failed to be helpful on any visit and after ten years with tmobile I am switching to sprint. Do not waste your money and mental health on this company! I've been a customer for over a year and the service is weak at best. Last month, 2/2021 I started having problems with not being able to get online and then not getting texts or phone calls so I called 611. 13 times I called in February and never resolved the issues and on top of that, one "representative" had me go into my phone settings (while I was on the phone with her) and change network settings, write out some code in another setting and change something I don't even know what in another setting. Needless to say, my phone/service is worse! It is now 3/7/21 and on my last call the "representative" gave me a discount on last months $80.00 bill (which is the normal charge) to just $19.00. But wait,there's more! I log on to my account and now she has removed my Amazon prime, my hotspot (which I use for work day trading) put me on the lowest plan and I now owe them $119.89 and they told me I need to buy a new phone now. Husband and I weren't happy with our cell provider, so we did some research on other options and found T-Mobile offered the best price for what we wanted. Since their website said we could more or less provide our own (unlocked gsm) phones, we figured out what phones wanted, bought them through Google (slightly cheaper than through T-Mobile), and then went over to the closest store with our new phones to get ourselves hooked up with a new plan. The soonest we could go in was on a Saturday morning, and the store was pretty busy. First, I liked that they have you sign in instead of waiting in line (like our now-former carrier). Second, I feel really lucky that we ended up with Eric as our customer service associate. He couldn't have been nicer and was extremely knowledgeable. We already knew exactly what we wanted and he didn't once try to upsell us - in fact, right off the bat, he got us a significant monthly discount by asking who we work for and it turns out my husband's company offers 15% off . And he was EXTREMELY patient as I attempted to hunt down the account number of my now-former cell plan, which ultimately involved my having to call them and wait on hold for nearly ten minutes before I could get the info - he simply chatted with my husband and told me that he had no problem waiting, despite the fact that the store was getting busier by the minute. I have been a loyal customer with T-Mobile for more than 13 yrs, I must be honest and tell you that my experience has been favorable, I have had issues with their phones, just other phone carriers! But t-Mobile have always lived up to my requests. If I had an issue, it was quickly resolved, once I lost my employment couldn't afford my plan, they changed my plan to fit my circumstances and I was able to keep my phone service current and that's why I'm a loyal customer. read more

I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile 1 year ago because they offered great deals on plans and no contracts. Everything went smoothly in the store and staff was friendly. Sounds good, right? Problem is, the service it terrible!! The phone never works when you need and I often am forced rely on my girlfriends AT&T iPhone to make a call or send a text. I live in Northern Kentucky and I find myself without service or the phone just not working all the time. When traveling, you can forget using the internet, Pandora or other streaming apps. On my recent trip from Cincinnati to Louisville, the phone maybe worked 45% of the time. Had to just turn it off because it keep loosing signal. The only time the phone worked great was in downtown Indianapolis and New Orleans when I was able to use the LTE network. Other than that, it has never once been on LTE in the Cincinnati area. T-Mobile customer service called me when I gave them a bad review elsewhere. They told me they are expanding their network and coverage to cities all over the US. That sounds great, but until service improves here in the tri-state i could care less about the other cities. Worst service I have ever had. Save yourself the trouble and just stick with Verizon, AT&T or Sprint. read more
