Not too long ago there was talk of the NEW cable company coming to town. SPECTRUM. The revamp and rebranding of Time Warner but with new internet speeds, new mobile service and a more strict non-negotiable pricing policy. At the time I wasn't a customer do it didn't mean much. Well, I moved recently and was in need of internet service. Unlike the other ISP's in the area the 200+ mb speeds that were advertised were actually available at my address. I did start my experience online by ordering the equipment I needed and picking up on the store. Walking in, I was greeted by still directed to sign in on a tablet. My name was added to a list on the screens displayed through the store and I took some time to checkout the new gadgets. Streaming decides, new cellphone (because they sell cellphone service now), and tablets. The new location is outside of the mall now but still in the Tri County area. It's like walking into Apple or one of the major wireless carriers. Plenty of open space, tables with the new tech and even a lounge area with TV. An over all good experience, reason for only four stars. A bit understaffed in my opinion. Being #7 in line took almost seven minutes to receive service. If your going to attempt to up-sale each customer make sure it doesn't backup the line. Setting up cellphone service is never quick. read more

I rated this particular location a "1" only because I could not give it less than that. My experience was the worst. I can understand being busy on a Saturday. But having two people working at a super super slow pace with no regard to the customers is just unacceptable. No smiles or cheerfulness at all. They did not enjoy their job whatsoever. It was very obvious they did not want to be there. They were like robots doing their job a very, very slow speed with no emotion what so ever. I was returning equipment and I was there for one hour and a half. Spectrum you can do much better. Having knowledgeable and cheerful people who want to be there working for you would be a good start!!! read more

They charge me $300 a month for tv, internet and they only have two people working. Also all they do is stand around on their cell phones and waste my time. If there was another place to go I would. This business has very poor customer service. read more

Terrible internet and cable service.!! What junk. The cable system always has to reconnect and the screen goes blank. The Internet service will go down, too. The router's red light is on way too much. Rebooting is needed way too often and will not always resolve the problem. For every minute without service, they need to deduct one (1) dollar from your bill. This is piss poor service to have to pay for. It's 2026 and you'd think it was the 1970's. Terrible customer service- it's all women working behind the stations - more customers waiting than staff and the staff just take their time getting set up o their computers, oblivious to all the people waiting, talking to other staff as if they don't care about efficient service. We got there 20 minutes after they opened and an hour later we're still waiting. They do this on purpose to force you to give up and request a technician to come to your home for 65$ charge. Spectrum's $2,000 Buyout Reimbursement is a SCAM - Avoid This Company! I switched to Spectrum Mobile because of their "$2,000 Buyout Reimbursement" offer, only to find out it's a complete scam. I submitted all required documents on January 1st, 2025, well before the January 8th deadline, yet Spectrum's contractor, OCS, denied my claim without any valid reason. Even after providing proof that I met all the requirements, Spectrum refuses to honor their own promotion. Their customer service is useless--every call is just another runaround with no resolution. It's obvious they never intended to pay out these reimbursements in the first place. Spectrum's deceptive business practices and lack of accountability make it clear that they don't care about their customers. Because of this, I am canceling all my Spectrum services--TV, Internet, and Mobile--and switching to a company that actually values its customers. If you're considering Spectrum, DON'T FALL FOR THEIR PROMOTIONS! Find a provider that stands by its word. read more

I was there at 4pm one day. There were 5 stations open. They all left and one came out. After waiting 30 minutes with no change in the wait list I left. I returned at 1pm the next day. Two people staffing 7 kiosks. One employee just closed up shop with 10 people queuing in the store. Be prepared for at least an hour wait.

Matt did an excellent job helping with my new phone! The other workers did not seem engaged or interested. Two elderly customers didn't know how to work the Kiosk to sign in. None of the staff attempted to assist! read more

Please read all fine print on your contract I was told I would get my phone free for 1 year and I could add another for $30.00 a month they sold me 2 phones because they said mine was not compatible and also charged me $60.00 for both phones plus the cost of 2 new phones. When i explained to her that i wasn't very good on the internet and the representative helped me over the phone with the signing of the paper work he also told me what my monthly bill would be at the time i signed up and what it would be after i started paying for my phone after the free year was up. The customer service rep told me it was my fault for not reading over the contract i had already been on the phone with the rep trying to sign me up for 2 hours when I took the phones in to have them transfer from our other provider there were signs up if you went with spectrum you got a year of your phone free I think this was false advertising I wondered why so many people were retuning equipment to them. After years and years of loyalty,over 8-10 for sure!!!.... That one would think said loyalty would mean something and you would get the same deal anyone else would for just signing up,or being a new customer. No. No you do not! For slow,sssslow,almost non usable internet and calling,trying to figure something out with them for weeks....I finally switched and had to make the dreaded "break-up" or cancellation call I should say. After numerous attempts of them trying to persuade me to stay (I get it) and finally giving me a deal,it's too little too late. Sorry,not sorry! I would give 0 stars if I was able to. My modem went out and called spectrum. They said "no problem, go to your nearest store and get a replacement." I did. This store "closes" at 8 pm. I get there at 7:38. No cars other than mine in the parking lot. No workers and the doors were locked. Yes, they were closed 20 minutes before they were supposed to. read more

RUN techs have been out multiple times... today is better speed then usual.. speed test in pics.. their test and then fast.com Today I called and talked to JR. he was helpful and then I found out that we have their lowest speed of 200mbps from supervisor Guido (identifier 562-6085) whom had a wonderful suggestion of buying a wireless router to save 5$ a month.. this company thinks that's the best solution is to sell us inferior service and then have supervisors, like Guido, tell us how great his own home wireless router works that he had to pay for and is NOT a Spectrum router. Spectrum enjoys charging us 5$ a month for their wireless and then their employees tell us we shouldn't use the company's service? Guido-- a managers solution for our family couldn't possibly be kinder? Something like, "wow, you guys have had some pretty bad service and had to spend a lot of time with techs and on the phone... for the inconvenience I'd love to offer you a small discount since our company didn't provide as promised"... HAHAHA that is customer service from yesteryears... TODAYS SOLUTION.... DONT USE OUR ROUTER BUT GO BUY YOUR OWN AS IT WILL WORK BETTER.... what a motto! Great suggestion to go buy a router when our internet is so slow..... sure spend 100$ so we can save.. Had to give it a one star cuz it makes you! Buyer be Ware!!!! If you cancel with them and return your equipment... save your receipt for life!! Laminate it, frame it, do what ever.....I kept my receipt for 3 years thinking it was safe to throw away, wouldn't you know it 4 years later I get a letter in the mail saying that im in collections for not returning equipment! I have called and disputed over and over again.....I even took all my equipment including remotes. And apologized because one was missing a back to it! To the florence ky store. They won't budge! The Springdale store is full of employees that are rude and unprofessional. When you walk in no one acknowledges you. They joke around with each other rather than help the customer. They make you THE CUSTOMER feel like you are intruding on their Gen X foolishness! I have dealt with this store 3 times within the last month. Unless you can afford to pay two cell phones for the same time period don't go to Spectrum! I am retired and am home 29 out of 30 days a month. I signed up for Spectrum mobile on 11/1 and still on 11/5 I have no new phone and NO PHONE SERVICE!!! While Spectrum took over my phone number they did nothing to expedite my phone delivery, and I can't find out anything about where my phone is! I am handicapped and took my cat to the vet yesterday, because my vet didn't have WiFi I had to walk, carrying my 10 lb cat, 1 mile to a restaurant that had WiFi so I could order an Uber. I finally got through to them through email and was told to call an 833 number, except I can't make a phone call. When I insisted on speaking to a supervisor Chestinia or something like that refused to help me or to put me through to someone that knew what they were doing! Pure bullshit!!!! read more

This visit to Spectrum was supposed to be a routine visit to turn on my internet, but the customer service I received was so great that my whole day was improved. I worked with Jalen specifically, and he was incredibly kind. He went above and beyond. Also, I had a sleeping baby in my arms and he offered accommodations to make me more comfortable, which is rare and much appreciated. He even offered to help me carry my items to my car. In the days of Covid, it's rare to see such exceptional customer service, but you'll definitely find it at Spectrum in Tri-County. read more

Greetings yelp Community, I would like to share that Spectrum Charter Communications has zero internal safeguards to protect you from Identity Theft. The only resolution they can offer is to send a ticket to a nameless Department OR fax (yes, FAX) your notarized personal information to a Fraud Department with a 60 day SLA. I find it unfathomable that someone can open a Spectrum account with a name similar to mine without any additional measures to verify identity. This simple practice and lack of security and internal safeguards has led me to spend countless hours on the phone with this organization. I have never had the pleasure of personally doing business with Spectrum Charter Communications and I hope you avoid them at all costs. I find Joyce, Scott (ext. 2441) and Dave (ID 4440228) to be especially unhelpful in resolving this matter. My next stop is the Better Business Bureau and then the FBI.
