The phone people were quite kind and worked with me as I had to change my schedule because of the weather but it was the day of service that was terrible. I was supposed to be met at 11am-2. On my way to the pickup site I received a call stating they would be late because the previous customer had way more than stated. Which I thought why not just do half of it and come back another day. I waited the allotted time and received another call saying their truck had broke down, also the tarp ontop the truck broke and they still had to bring the other customers junk to the dumping location. was told they were still coming and would be a bit after 2. 2:30 it was getting closer to closing time at the location i was at and I called the main line and the woman spoke with the regional manager who said they were on the way. About 2:45pm they showed up, so almost a 4 hour wait. Two young men came out and apologized for the wait and were nice enough for some reason said why didnt I go with a nearby company (which i didnt know the other company existed) but then proceeded to look at the pile of junk. Now I had One mattress, about 7-8 trash bags, a computer chair, tv table, 10 totes empty stacked and some odds and ends that didnt amount to much. I was told over the phone that mattresses are an extra 50 dollars per mattress and box spring, which is fine. I only had the 1 mattress. Anyhow they quoted 479 dollars. yet altogether it wasnt much, they quoted me it would take half the truck, then said 3/8ths. When they put the items in the truck they literally stacked nothing. just spread all over the truck. I think it would have taken less space perhaps 2/8ths at the most if stacked properly but they didnt do that. Ive been putting together trucks for 20 years and know for a fact It didnt take 3/8ths. But I had a time issue on my hands to get rid of the junk. So yeah thats how they run at Junkluggers. An apology is nice but a slight discount for waiting 4 hours would have been better. I wanted to be in and out and back to work later in the day. so i also lost that money as well since so much time had passed. I understand things happen but I cant recommend a company that takes so long and then over quotes. Didnt even get the 25$fall off special coupon added. Unfortunately for them I have 5 other locations with a lot more junk to get rid of, buildings I recently purchased. Would have been nice to use them but ill find someone else.

They strung me along for 2 more hours (they never called me, but I kept calling them), and then said they weren't coming. They rescheduled for today between 8 and 10 and said I'd be first on the list. I called at 8 to confirm and was told I'd receive an ETA within 15 minutes. I called them at 9:20 since I'd still heard nothing and they said they were more than an hour away. I literally don't know what to say except absolutely do not hire these people. You'd be better off stopping a stranger on the street and asking for help with junk removal.

The next day we went to buy it and pick it up only to learn the dress had been put back on the floor and were asked if we had already checked the floor before going to retrieve our hold. The same dress on the display had lipstick and a fray on it (which the dress we had put on hold did not). We had to order it online and could not pay in cash. Anthropology has always done holds, and when reassured the hold would be there it is very disappointing to find it was gone, especially an expensive dress like the one we were buying.

We also needed to replace two front walkways and a small seating area. Chris was recommended by a friend. Immediately we noticed that he responded promptly to my email request and subsequent communications. Chris took a lot of time with us discussing paver options, etc. We chose to install a brick patio with granite steps to an entryway, two new brick walkways, and a crushed stone seating area. His team is hardworking and professional. We were very happy with the preparation and brickwork. He went out of his way to re-route the roof downspout to avoid flooding the new patio and also helped with a small masonry issue regarding an old non-functioning chimney. They were quick to come out and were very kind in assessing the work and offered a fair quote. I liked how they itemized everything and felt they were reputable and trustworthy. I called Corey Ferschhke and we discussed details of scheduling and set the date for work to be done. Two weeks from today. We took the time off work to be available and make sure the work went smoothly. We informed our real estate agent the work was planned and she can move forward with plans. 3 days prior to work, we started to become nervous. We hadn't heard from them for confirmation or anything for 11 days. We decided to call and confirm. -Left a voicemail, no reply. -Next day, 2 days before work start, call, no reply. Text message, no reply. -Called 1 day before work start, a woman answered and told me someone would call back. No one called back. -On the day of start, I knew Ferschke Construction burned us. We had not heard from them for 2 weeks and work was supposed to start early tomorrow morning. That night, at 8:20, less than 12 hours from work time, we get a text message from a random number saying they won't be able to come as planned tomorrow but Monday the'll do the work....uh...what? I work Monday. The first thought in my mind was how much money we had just lost by trusting Ferschke Construction. Money we couldn't afford to lose. Of course we got some hollow text message apology, but does that make up for the lost wages, waste of 2 weeks, and disrespect? Insulting.
