Everybody at the liberty location has a box of rocks for a brain I'm a new customer as of June 19 and I've been back to the store six times in one month from being told incorrect information by everybody there I should have never switched from AT&T this has been thee worst experience ever from messing up the bill to giving discounts that never showed up to all the misinformation how can four different people that work at the same location be giving wrong information does anybody know I guess not, box of rocks for a brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bad service at this store. The clerks are slow and have a hard time being smart. They need to study and learn about the products that they are trying to g to sell. read more

We traded our phones in this store in October. The associate in the store assured us our bill would remain mostly unchanged. As it turns out this was not the case. This is the second time this has happened to us w/ T-Mobile. We will not be T-Mobile customers when this current promotion is over. read more

My wife and I were having issues with our service ever since we transitioned from Sprint to T-Mobile. We were told by T-Mobile tech support to go to the nearest store, as our account had not been completely switched to T-Mobile. We were told that there were things that needed to be done to our phones and administratively to our account to make this happen. We first went into this store on 12/1, and were put on a list after being told it was a 45 minute to 1 hour wait to get taken care of. We noticed that people coming in after we had arrived that had made appointments were getting priority. After waiting 40 minutes with no service, we decided to leave and to try to make an appointment, and just show up a few minutes early to get service. So we made an appointment for 12/3 @ 6:00. We showed up at 5:55 on 12/3, and when we walked in the door, we noticed only 2 people working (on a Friday night), and about 4 or 5 people waiting to get service. The "manager" walked up to us and told us he would put us on the list, but it would be 45 minute to an hour wait. We told him we had a 6:00 appointment. He told us..."like I said, we will put you on the list, and we will get to you when we can." We waited for 20-25 minutes, when the only other associate working called our names. When he did, the manager responded back to him, "No, that gentleman sitting over there was here before they were." I responded back to him..."We had a 6:00 scheduled appointment, and have been waiting 25 minutes...we're next!" He said..."Oh...I didn't hear you say you had an appointment." I thought to myself...REALLY??? We told you as soon as you walked up to us. We also told you when you said it was going to be up to an hour wait. YOU! No one else! So he told the associate to go ahead and help us. When we were telling him about our issues, he seemed very confused about the "transitioning of the account". He told us that he had no idea what we were talking about, as that should have happened automatically. He basically told us that T-Mobile tech support was wrong, and that there was nothing to do. He then told us that the reason our 5G performance was slow, is because "The coverage here in Liberty sucks...and it just is what it is." (His words). He told us that we just needed to turn off 5G, and run on the LTE 3G network. WHAT??? So we were basically being told that cannot take advantage of the service we pay for, and the whole reason for upgrading to 5G phones was wasted effort and money? Needless to say, we left the store less that amused or satisfied. So on 12/4, we took a chance, and went to the T-Mobile store on 169 and Barry Rd in KC. Man...what a completely different experience. Several associates there to help, everyone was courteous, just a whole different vibe. We had to wait about 30 minutes, but it wasn't a problem because of the level of service we got. When we explained what was going on, our associate knew exactly what needed to be done. They transitioned our accounts from Sprint to T-Mobile, gave us new Simm cards, checked for updates, tested the phones, and sent us on our way. Since we put the new cards in our phones, our 5G speeds are much faster, our call quality is better, and we have not dropped any calls. But according to the associates in the Liberty store, they would get to us when they could...despite having an appointment, there was nothing that they needed to do, we just needed to live with the poor service because the coverage sucks, and we should run on 3G vs. 5G...a service we pay for. Okay? This experience has me wondering...If the Liberty T-Mobile store is not THE WORST T-Mobile store in the Metro, I would hate to see how it could get any worse. Those guys acted like they could care less about customer loyalty or experience. They acted like they were just there punching a clock. I get it. It isn't an easy gig. When it comes to people and their phones, some of them can be a handful. But some of us just want some level of service, and to get what we are paying for. Sorry, but if you feel your customers are more of a burden than a benefit, then maybe it is time for you to find a new gig. read more

I have tried to get service at this location twice, first was told there would be a 2 hour wait. The second time, i made an appt., put the information online about what I needed, arrived and was told there would be a 1.5 hour wait. I waited, only to be told they didn't have what I needed. One might think they would have looked at their appoints and bothered to call me and advise that they did not have what I needed. Far easier to let a person make the drive, make them wait, then inform they do not have what they need. Why make an appt. at all only to be told to wait? why require information about one's visit, to never look at it? Why not bother to have an actual human being look at the upcoming appointments, determine the need and call the client if you do not have the parts? This store is vexing. read more

Once again a shout out to Kari in Liberty!! Went in and requested Kari as I brought number 4 phone in to b exchanged..We have 6 phones under the jump start plan. It was nice to come in and to be recognized right off. I felt bad when I heard she was past her quitting time but she stayed after just to help me.She could have easily handed me off to a co-worker to take care of me so she could go home. But she didnt...Now thats a fine example of customer service!!! read more

Horrible experience there last night, by the manager no-less. I will never send business to this particular store ever again. The managers name was Daniel. He was very rude and unprofessional, nor did he care if we stayed with T-Mobile. I have been a LOYAL t-mobile customer for 6 years now. I will be switching phone companies today. read more

Just awful!!!!!!!!!! The customer service and my phone service are extremely awful. Time for a change.

I'm gonna give 1 star to this place solely based on their ability to turn the open sign on. Other than that, they are lacking in every way as a store. We had just switched our service over to T-Mobile this past week and in that very short amount of time we've had nothing but problems. We were quoted one price after trade in, that was off by an exorbitant amount, a shoddy phone that isn't charging, ridiculous wait times, seemingly clueless staff and management on their own phone plans, and repeated trips up there on our part just to find out they couldn't help. After calling their customer service and explaining our situation and frustration, even they were floored by their inability or lack of sense in fixing a problem that should be relatively easy, even for them. Not a satisfied customer at all, you would be better off going online or calling a customer service rep than dealing with these clueless people. Management set the bar for this branch, keep aiming low! read more

It take forever for them to chat with customer. I'm not try to say here 10minutes it take them over 20minutes over battery, it should not take 5 minutes for that. Need more helper if they like to stay at front door and talk. read more

I placed an order through tmobile customer care, and have had issues with it for the last 5 days with no resolve calling back into cust. care. (mind you I have been a customer for over 7 years.) I finally went into the store and worked with Landon who took care of all of the issues that I was having with them with no problem whatsoever. He went out of his way to resolve the issue and return the extra $300 plus charge that was placed on my credit card that should not have been immediately. He was extremely courteous and definitely went the extra mile to help resolve an issue that wasn't even caused by the store in the first place. I definitely recommend going to this store if you have any issues at all. read more

I opened an account with T-Mobile in April, 2017. I tried to use their service for a few days, but the reception was horrible at the place I work and at my house. I returned the phone, paid the restocking fee and asked them to cancel my account. They said they took care of it, but I notice in August I had been billed two $100 payments. I called them and told them their error. They said they would refund my money and close my account. They refunded me $100 and still owe me $100 and only remove my credit card from the account, they did not close it. Since then I have received a bill saying that I owed them more money, a letter from one collection agency and then a second collection agency. After receiving each of these, I called T-Mobile to get this taken care of and ask for my $100 dollars. Each time, I wasted four or five hours being passed from agent to agent until one finally lied to me and said it was taken care, only to find out it was not. read more
