I was given a 28 minute wait time and told not to wait in the store. After 45 minutes I went to inquire as to how much longer it would be. I was then ignored by the 4 employees in the store, as were the 3 other customers that came in, standing by the door no really knowing what to do. The assistant manager finally came over and snapped at me that while I was on the wait list there were other people who made appointments ahead of me. What was the point of a wait list/ wait time. No updates, no apologizes for an incredible waste of time. Horrible customer service, and will go out of my way to never come back. read more

I went in the store (Highland Park in St. Paul, MN) to discuss switching from my current cell phone service provider because I wasn't satisfied with the coverage in my home area. I was assured that T-Mobile service would provide better coverage. I was then told by not one, but two, staff members that if I switched to T-Mobile I would receive a prepaid card for $200 in a few weeks. When it didn't arrive I went online and found out it was denied for, "Ineligible rate plan or feature." This after I was told by two staff members that what I was signing up for met the criteria. I called customer service and was put on hold for 30 minutes. Once I got to speak a person after 10 minutes of explaining to the problem she put me on hold for another 18 minutes. When she came back she told me the request had never been submitted even thought I had a tracking number and a date on which it was submitted. When I pointed out if the request had never been submitted it would be impossible for them to reject it she asked the name of the staff of the staff person who submitted the request. When I couldn't provide that she put me on hold again. At this point I had been on the phone for an hour. When she came back she said she couldn't explain why the request had been rejected but suggested I resubmit the request. read more

I guess its a testament to Tmobil that this is only my second visit to one of their locations. I just haven't needed any help. Today is new phone day (for me and the Mrs). I showed up new phones in hand in order to start a new plan with a new carrier. Yes, its 2017 and I finally got a smart phone. I had the fortune to work with Gunnar. He was quite knowledgeable and set up my new plan quite expeditiously. He made it all seem so simple. He even helped me divest myself of that sillly land line I still had (sorry Century Link). All while being quite personable and professional. It seems all the staff here conduct themselves similarly. The employees of this T-Mobile branch did a great job setting me up with a reasonably-priced phone when I had a last-minute request to get someone a phone they could use cheaply abroad (like ... I had 3 hours to get the phone). The staff knew what the company was offering, knew the stats on phones themselves, had a pretty good idea of what else was on the market competing with them, lavished attention on me whenever I needed help, and did a good no-nonsense job helping me get what I'd been sent to get.
