This center is actually pretty nice but too bad TMobile cell service just sucks overall. I really regret switching from Verizon 18 months ago. I am still stuck for 6 more months before I can switch out of TMobile. What made it worse is I tried to add a 7th line and stayed with TMobile just to keep it simple and they told me in my mobile app I would actually save $35 a month see photo but TMobile actually wouldn't honor it and raised my monthly by $190 a month by moving all my lines. I have been on the phone for hours and they made me come into this store to show them the photo of the deal TMobile promised see photo but no one in the store or in customer care would honor it. After 45 min of waiting Adyson told me to go home and just let me know what he can get. Well two days later he said he can maybe get me a $10 credit per month what?! Adding a line cost me $190 a month more and he is offering $10 off and here is the kicker I have to go back to the store to get this deal. What?' And he is sorry he cannot do more. This review isn't just about the store. TMobile SUCKS. don't get sucked in by their initially cheap prices. Don't make the mistake I made. Stay with Verizon or AT&T. T Mobile doesn't care they lie to get you the business and no one takes responsibility to solve billing issues. I will end up paying hundreds dollars more before I can switch out and wasting 10 hours of my life trying to find someone who genuinely cares. And giving up now. read more

Tried to get a problem fixed on my spouse's iPhone. Well, it was finally working properly by the time we left the store but when we were out in the real world, the problem arose again. The guy who helped us was a little pissy and seemed put-out that he had to work at all but, since it was right after Halloween, he allowed me to have several pink pumpkin baskets that we leftovers from a promotion after I asked. The problem continues but we will find a solution elsewhere. read more

Patient, professional, respectful. I recently switched to T-Mobile here. Got a weird glitch and asked for assistance at this store. It took 2 staff and finally the manager, Art, to make the glitch go away. During these 2 hours, the store is always busy. Every customer was treated well. While they were working on my issues, they kept the conversation on and I didn't feel bored at all. This was during the difficult period of SF downtown, when the homelessness can be found on every street and stores. I think there were 2 or 3 homeless, one of them with mental health issues, busted into the store. Staff and the security acted fast and interacted with them respectfully. They all left voluntarily shortly after. I'm really impressed. read more

Peter and their team of experts were more help than the T-Mobile signature store on Stockton st and 611 customer care combine. 611 customer care are a bunch of bots repeating the same scripted lines in front of them putting you on hold for more than half the duration of the conversation. Ive been in contact with 611 customer care 4x averaging an hour each call and being on hold for half that. In the end, they told me there's nothing they could help me with. T-Mobile signature store on Stockton weren't any help either. They simply didn't want to try anymore since customer care didn't want to. They both left me dealing with my issue unresolved. Whereas Peter, understood my frustration and solved my issue in just 3 minutes. It was a simple phone trade-in that neither T-Mobile signature store nor 611 customer care could figure out. Before I could tell Peter and his team that I was going to switch over to Verizon, he fixed my problem. I'm staying, for now. read more

I went there late Friday as my phone stopped being able to be charged. I needed a new phone it turned out and so the transfer of info to my new phone was taking a long time. The store closed at 7pm. We were still there at 8pm. They were working OT on a Friday because of my issue. We ended up finishing the transfer on the weekend. Big Kudos to the staff there....Steven, Addeyson, and Chris are all just wonderful and huge assets to the company. You can't go wrong here kids! They'll take good care of you! read more

This is NOT for the local store but for the company in general. I purchased the 5G internet. Modem didn't come any external antenna. It has a built in one. 2 issues here- 1) its internal antenna isn't that good. IT may say I have good signal but I don't when speeds are like 1.5mb for upload and 200 for download with a ping time of 60ms. Ok, so I had these short 5G antenna's I could screw into this modem early in the am. When I got 5 bars I was like - nice 700+ download and only 34 MB upload- but for promotion of 50 a month (for backup), I thought yes that is nice. Again this is only from changing from internal antenna to external. Now 10 AM it is like best 300 down and 14 MB up. Ping is still a little high. What this means is SATURATION. What this means is they expected me to install it myself and didn't provide a external antenna for it. Crazy. It is not like your customers would be asking you to come out to there home for a free install and go on the roof and install a weather proof antenna for free. HECK, a decent antenna may only cost 100-180 USD (in bulk). So we got saturation going on here at 10:10 AM. WHY SUCK CRAPPY UPLOAD SPEEDS? Is it because the DATA CENTER hasn't ran dark fiber to the next point. Doesn't make logic to not have the same upload and download speeds. Good deal for the money I guess, but not sending an antenna for the install is crazy! read more

On Dec 3, 2022, a salesperson at this store offered us an $800 trade-in promotion and sold us an $800 phone. The store employee and manager couldn't figure out how to process the trade-in, but they nevertheless had us sign paperwork for the trade-in and purchase the new phone at the same time. This store instructed us to finalize the trade-in by calling Customer Service the next day. When we called Customer Service, they told us that it had been the store's job to process the trade-in. Customer Service further told us that we should not have trusted the salespeople at this store because they are "poorly trained" (their words, not mine). So, the trade-in was never processed, meaning we never received the $800 credit. This began a nine-month ordeal of us pleading with Customer Service and the store to honor the deal they made with us. The manager, Art Gaoiran, read a similar review from me on Google and said they would help me if I emailed them. I emailed, and I have not received a response nearly a month later. read more

I don't normally do the review thing, but tonight's experience needs to be put out there for all you fine folks of San Francisco and beyond. So, iPhone 12 yada yada yada yada yada! I was planning on switching over from Verizon to T-Mobile and I wanted to do the order online. When I realized how long it would take for me to receive my iPhone 12 in the mail I thought you know what I'll see if I could just pick it up in the store. T-Mobile's website, when you're about to check out they have an option that says save your cart and checkout in an actual store location. CLEAR AS DAY! BINGO. I continue to save my cart with my items and make my way to the closest T-Mobile location to where I'm at in San Francisco. The location I chose closes at 8 PM on a Tuesday night which is fine. I arrived at around 10 minutes to 6. There are 3 to 4 people in the store that work there on the sales floor just waiting for me, I go in and say hello this gentleman approaches me and he says how can I help you what can I do for you. I explain to him that I was signing up for new service for an iPhone 12 and that I was coming from Verizon and I wanted to get the phone today rather than have to wait 3 to 4 days in the mail. I then begin to explain to him that on the T-Mobile website I saved my cart with all of my information and follow the prompts to an IN-STORE REP. So this guy is standing there looking at me looking at his watch not even hearing a word that I'm saying, and he looks at me and says "your online cart?" "I don't know nothing about no online carts."Clearly he loves working at the store and is very concerned about me the customer. So after interrupting me I begin to explain to him again that I set everything up via the T-Mobile website and I would like to come in to the store and go from there. At this point the vibe and the energy that I'm getting from this guy is so wrong that I am literally I'm just like OK wow so this is why people do everything online nobody wants to come into a store and deal with a 22-year-old with no college degree who could give two farts about Customer Service. So I looked at him and I said you know what that's OK I will go take my business elsewhere to someone who's not rude to A new potential customer. He kind of chuckled turned around and walked away . that was it and all the other employees were just kind of standing around nobody said anything no one approached me to say "you know oh don't leave maybe we can help you out!" nothing! A five star store for sure ! In two months I'll be 77.As an old man，I am always finding it frustrating in trouble-shooting. Sometimes hours efforts with representitive from stores near my home over the phone to no avail. For instance，I wanted to change the phone number from＂818" to＂415＂，my son in Milpitus talked over the phone with one of T-mobile persons for at least four hours， even to the point of having a new phone number ready ，however it eventurely didn'nt work whatsoever.Then I went to 701 Market T-Mobil store，and to my great surprise and joy，within only a fraction of five minutes，a young representitive named Adyson succeeded in making it work. 701 Market store is not only good at severing customers but also exceptional in trouble-shooting.
