Went there to get to change my plan and transfer my boyfriend's service to a line on my plan (while keeping his phone #). When we first went, we thought my boyfriend's service was with Verizon, and the guy who helped us seemed knowledgeable and helpful. He told us we needed to contact Verizon to get his number. released. He said once that happened he could complete everything in-store. Great! We leave after calling the owner of the account he was on to get some info. Turns out his service was already with T-Mobile. So we go back to the store. This time someone else comes to attend to us. He's tall and bro-ish and he is utterly useless and says he can do nothing for us. The owner of the account he already is on has to call T-Mobile to release his number; she can't call him at the store. Then I have to call to upgrade (UPGRADE!) my service and add a line; I can't do that in-store either. Why did the other guy tell we could do everything in-store? I get it if maybe they can't release the number in-store (though why not, T-Mobile? that's ridiculous), but they can't even upgrade my service in-store?? The other guy said they could. Will, the phone repair technician needs a raise. Super professional. Really fast. Great customer service. Will and originally thought that we may need to replace the entire phone, I didn't really want to buy a brand new phone right now because I just finished paying off this phone. Will was able to talk to hisTeam and found there was another way to go about getting into the phone because the screen was inoperable and completely unable to view anything on it. In and out in less than two hours, phone is working perfectly with a brand new screen. I couldn't be happier. T-Mobile, will need a raise. Best T-Mobile service I have received in years. read more

I was in the T-Mobile Store the week of May 10th. Dylan immediately came over to assist me. He was friendly, kind, warm, knowledgeable and professional. I was having problems with my phone's storage capacity and was unable to use text messages and some other services. Dylan looked at my phone and determined some issues that contributed to my phone being at 99% capacity. He indicated that one game I was using, in particular, was taking up 1/6 of my entire storage. He also pointed out some other features taking up a lot of space, including over 4,000 photos. He suggested that I move some of the photos to my Sims card to free up space. He gladly offered to assist me with this. I dropped the phone off and came back in an hour and, wow, it I had space!! Wahoo!!! Dylan was amazing! The kindness he extended to me was so appreciated. I am not "tech" savvy and never did he make me feel inferior when he was explaining why I was having storage problems. What an asset to the T-Mobile family! From this point forward, I will be sending all my friends and family to see Dylan. My next phone will be purchased from Dylan. He truly exceeded my expectations. I went in to the T-Mobile location on Southcenter Pkwy. I was greeted by the manager, and told her I was an existing customer and wanted a new phone. I asked about any promotional deals. She said that once an Associate freed up, they would help me. I looked around and three young female associates appeared to be just chatting with young guys. The guys and Associates were clearly just laughing and talking. Nobody was helping customers. The manager did nothing about the situation. I waited 20 minutes and the same guys were chatting with the same female associates. I just wanted to buy a new phone. My plan is fairly inexpensive or I would go to another carrier. Waked in, waited and no one bothered to greet me or say "Hey it'll be a few minutes." After 15 min of standing around I went up to a table and three employees were gathered around (with no customers) so I got super lucky and one started helping me. The guy was smug and not pleasant. He seemed like he could care less we were customers whatsoever. I ended up buying an iPhone 12 Pro Max only because this store had the color I wanted and no others around did. WITHOUT my consent this guy charged an Apple brand charger to my bill and I only caught it as we were leaving. I said, "what's this!?" The guy "Oh these new phones don't have the lightning to usb cables anymore and you need a new charging brick to plug in with the cord you get in the your new phone box." Wtf dude!? Dont charge me for stuff we never discussed nor made any mention of it to me. Also way to try to cop an accessory commission on that. Lastly, you're an idiot bc you just use your old charging cord from your past three phones DUH you don't buy a new brick. Super annoyed. Will NOT be returning here. The manager needs to work on greeting people (just a simple HI to acknowledge someone coming in the door, it's not rocket science), coming up with a system to check people in (there was no one and no directions on how to do so) also general customer service and care. I didn't feel welcomed or valued and was completely disrespected by the charge I did not authorize. Went in this store about a month ago to add my boyfriend on to my line. Walking into the store we were helped by the manager who was okay, he did well helping pick phones and explaining plans. All is good, we pick out phones and start the process. The manager leaves us with an employee who is obviously very new and not sure what all she should be doing. Manager had to come back over multiple times to answer her questions and instead of staying because she was OBVIOUSLY not sure what she was doing he continued to walk away. Things get a little tricky because we were paying on separate cards and she had a very difficult time separating the transactions. When asking what the monthly bill was the manager came back over and wrote it all out for us and also explained all the other charges we would pay that day. Well we end up staying in the store for 3 HOURS while this employee tried and tried to set up the account. She then says that the WiFi is too slow to set up my new phone and we should probably go out and finish the rest of our errands and it should be done In an hour. Great. When we come back the employee who was helping us, and the manager was no longer there so they all had to scramble to find where she put my phones. Fast forward a month and I get a bill $100 over the amount that I was supposed to pay. I go into the west Seattle TMobile where they explain that the payments were completely mixed up on both transactions, I was lied to about what my monthly would be, AND I didn't pay the prorated monthly fee that the south center team said I would be paying that day and it was now showing up on this bill. My monthly bill is $60 over what they quoted me for that day. Pleas do not visit this store it's obvious they have no clue what they are doing. read more

Service in this store is very hit or miss depending on the associate you get, and every time I go in, the staff has done a complete turnover, so you'll never get the same person twice. I've had good service there in the past, but the last time I went in a few weeks ago, all I wanted to do was change my data plan and got an associate who clearly didn't know what he was doing; he even asked another associate for help, and the second guy was equally clueless. I left the store pretty sure he'd screwed things up, so I checked my account online over the next few days and sure enough, the next bill generated had numerous additional fees and taxes, an extra prorated charge for the changed plan that had already been paid for, and various other bits of WTFery. I was able to get an account credit for the additional charges by calling customer service on the 800 number, and the representative confirmed for me that the in-store associate was basically a dunce. She said it looks like he knew he knew he messed up because he tried to undo what he'd done and couldn't, so he just treated it like a new account, and not even the same kind of account as what I'd had, which is why I had so many extra charges. I won't know if she changed everything back correctly until I see the next bill in a couple of weeks, but she seemed competent enough. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed, which speaks to the level of confidence I now have in this company. I would give this store 1 star based on my last visit there, but they've ranged from just okay to quite good in the past, so I'm bumping it up. But they seriously need to do a better job of training their in-store associates. Edited three months later to add: Nope! My bill is still wrong every month, and every month I call customer service. They always give me a credit for the overcharge, but each time I have to laboriously explain the mistake the in-store associate made, and even though they seem to understand the problem, they say they can't correct it themselves but will "send a message to the supervisor" who will fix it -- but who of course never does. I've asked more than once if I can speak directly to the supervisor but am always told, "oh, he JUST went into a meeting." It would be less annoying if they just said, "yeah, we're never going to help you, so stop calling us." read more

My iPhone 6SPlus was stolen. I was devastated. I got my replacement 6SPlus, and couldn't download a lot of things that were on the Cloud. I went to the Southcenter TMoblile, and Christian P helped me out tremendously. He was able to get everything onto the new phone. I sure couldn't have figured all of that out on my own. Not only did he hook me up with every possible promo and benefit that he could, but he also offered to pick up a tablet from another location so that I could benefit from the free a tablet promotion. Customer service is a HUGE factor to me. So much so that this is my 1st Yelp review! I've worked in the retail industry, and learned a lot about the importance of customer service. I started my phone plan here at this store. The store and customer service gave me the run around for months about adding my employee discount. The store saying only online/customer service could do it and customer service saying only the store could do it. It took about 6 months of me hounding the store and customer service before it ever started posting to my account. A year later we go in to the store again because my husband wants an upgrade on his phone. The lady that helped us talked me in to upgrading my phone saying how we would only be spending like $15 more for us to both have brand new phones. She said she would pay back what was owing on our current phones so that we would have a clean slate and throw in some cases for us. I was very excited and though what a great deal we were getting. My husbands phone also came with a watch that was pretty nice. We thought we were getting so much free stuff how could we possibly turn this deal down? Now its been 7 months since that last visit, i look at my equiptment plan to see what we owe on our phones and youll never guess what i found... they added all those cases, screen protectors, and that damn watch to my plan! She told us she was "throwing it in" and being so nice making us feel like it was free and that we didnt have to pay for it. If we knew we would have to pay for those items we wouldnt have even done the upgrade, we just thought we were getting all this free stuff that it was worth it! We even kept talking about how great of a deal it was to be getting the watch and cases for free in front of her.. This place takes advantage of people, all they care about is selling, who cares about the damn customer. I had a plan with tmobile years ago and never had any problems, then they cared about their customers. Stay away! YY was great with our switch a few days ago. We have been with AT&T for over 15 years, originally because they were the only ones carrying I-Phone's, then because they were the only ones with unlimited plans. Well all that has changed for a while and all AT&T did about this is keep raising my grandfathered plan by $5 every year for last year where I was now paying over $150 a month just for my line. My wife was paying over $200 for 3 lines. We switched to T-Mobile and all of our 4 lines combined would be under $200. The other big reason is, T-Mobile includes the option for your phone to be used at a hotspot where AT&T blocks it. YY was very patient with us while we swapped all the 4 lines and taking the advantage of Buy one IPhone get a second free ( it's really a $700 credit) not a true BOGF since we wanted the bigger memory phones, but still a good offer. Ask for YY when your looking for a rep to take care of you! read more

This store location understands the importance of customer service, especially when switching cell phone providers. On a Sunday afternoon, there were a few groups of customers in the store. Each group was being attended to. The person helping us was friendly. He also was very knowledgeable. Halfway through the process, as the store started to empty out, as it was late on a Sunday, another customer service rep came over to help out as well. Also very friendly. I have been with T-mobile 11 years and as of recently they no longer honer there upgrade policy for after 2 years of service you receive a new phone for a discounted price. But what they do honer is that you locked into your contract and will pay an outrageous termination fee or you can pay $600 dollars in payments for a new phone! After 11 years of happy service I've never been so unhappy with your company, I will never use T-mobile again and won't let any friends or family go with your service. read more

I just upgraded my phone to a new one with installment jump plan for 2 months. Customer service was nice. I had asked for an email receipt of the breakdown of the monthly plans and today's first payment. an hour passes by I never got an email called customer service, they said they have no email for me. Meaning the customer service didn't ask my email. Nor did I get a paper receipt when she didn't send me an email receipt. Secondly, the customer representative didn't tell me it would cost $20 for upgrading today. If there is an upgrade fee, the fee should be upfront and clear. I came in one day to see about switching two lines and a tablet from Verizon. I was helped by Aaron and he spent lots of time with me to explain what my bill would look like by switching, what kind of phones are available, etc. He was very helpful and I decided to switch. We traded in my Verizon phone and did a deferred trade in for my husbands and the tablet, since I didn't have them with me. I thought that was nice, but looking back I wish I had just waited until I had all of the devices. I've had a big run around with trading the other devices in, it's been almost a month and the system still won't accept the trade ins, but that's more of a T-Mobile issue than this store's issue. This store has been really helpful in getting my T-Mobile account bugs fixed and Aaron has helped me each time I've gone in and has communicated with their IT to fix it. While I still don't have a solution yet, he deserves to be recognized for great service. read more

Okay, so I went in to get a new iPhone, and they had an "in-store promotion" that allegedly gave me a UE Megaboom speaker only for the cost of sales tax. It was only after I later reviewed the equipment installment plan sometime later than the "in-store promotion" meant that I had to pay for the speaker. They said it was "free" but they put the cost on my monthly bill for the next 2 years. I called several times to get the issue resolved, but they dodged the issue entirely. I'll write the Attorney General's office with a consumer complaint letter and see if I can resolve it that way because what they're doing is blatantly illegal. Beware when any of these people offer you promotion; odds are that you'll get screwed and have to pay for it in a way that's not obvious to you. read more

We went in for phone and told the buy one get one free on the cell phones and it was not when we got home and look at the paperwork it said that it was on but it was on lease with option to buy after you pay $900 for a phone that's worth 750 then we were told it to buying speaker was $50 so we paid $50 for it all to find out the only got home that it was also on leasing we thought that we're paying for speaker monthly. The workers here are very young and do not know anything about cell phones and it took two and a half hours for them to supposedly unlocking vault to grab two cell phones when we have been there before and there's no fault of the grab cell phones out of 2 and a half hours waiting while and we have purchased from there before and didn't wait at all.... this store is trulya scam read more
