Background: I received a notification that Verizon would provide me with a special promotion, upgrade my 3 year old Samsung to a brand new one. The deal was pretty significant even though I was still happy with my phone. It was a deal we could not pass up. I called to inquire about the promotion and ended up finalizing over the phone. Verizon would send the phone to the location of our choice which was in Greensboro because it was very close to my wife's work. She picked it up on her way home. On to the story: Because I wanted to make sure the transition was handled completely, we made an appointment (realizing there would be a cost) to get everything transferred and set up at the Verizon location in Clemmons. Carlos was who we met with at 1pm on a Saturday. He was able to transfer all my information from the old phone to the new phone but he was not able to get it activated. He suggested we call Verizon customer service. We called Verizon customer service and they were not able to activate my new phone and suggested we visit a corporate store location. We were told the store near Hanes mall is a corporate location but the one in Clemmons is a franchise. We drove to the Verizon location near Hanes mall. Will the Manager greeted us and asked us to have a seat until a specialist was available. A short while later, Hope was the next specialist available and asked us to join her as she found out more about our problem. Will came back, conversed with Hope. They were able to address the issues online with Verizon and activated the new phone. A special shout out to both Will and Hope. We hope that everyone has a lot of Will and Hope in their lives because that is just what we needed.

Buyer beware of this store!…read more I've been a Verizon customer in some form since Bell Atlantic and found their technology and support excellent. I currently am a biz customer with 6 lines. I've moved to competing carrier. In February 2026 this store sold me two phones on a promotion. My company bill jumped from 230$ to over $650. My biz account rep admitted the store was trying to fool Verizon corporate into adding lines and then deleting them without their knowledge thus giving their customers the benefit. "But we were caught" My biz rep and his boss have since ghosted me. Their online service is excellent but takes many hours and month to resolve the issue. One of my financed phone (now paid off) is locked for 60 days based on a silly Verizon transfer policy. The store will not handle "business issues". My working theory is this has happened to many customers and they don't know what to do My employees are ok in the porting but I'm working off a used iPhone 13 until Verizon keeps their promise and does the unlock on my phone.

I was saddened to read some negative reviews as my experience was great! In 20 years of cellphone ownership, I've never lost or damaged a phone. I guess I've been lucky :-)! Well, yesterday changed that. I dropped my iPhone 11 on a busy driveway and had not known till maybe 45 minutes later. When I finally figured out I'd done this, I rushed back only to find it completely shattered! Clearly, it had been run over several times. I was so upset! It would not turn on at all, and it looked really...really bad. I took it to my cellphone provider and was told it would be about $500 to get a new one. This included the unpaid balance on my current one as I was still making monthly payments for 5 more months..Agh! They suggested CPR, and said they also use them for their own needs and they highly recommended them. They were not sure that the phone could be fixed as it looked really bad, but, it was worth a try. I rushed to CPR and met with a very nice young man named Tomalex. He looked at my very damaged phone but felt they could fix it. He also said they would not charge me at all if they couldn't fix it in the end. He said it would be $170.00 which was much less than what I would have paid previously. He also told me the store wasn't busy at that time, and they could probably have it fixed in 25 minutes! I was so happy. I returned and could hear some texts going off on my once dead phone. I was thrilled! He let me know that they were almost finished with it (and within the time he stated previously too). In minutes he was handing me my beautiful phone...looking perfect...and working!! Just look at the before/after pictures I posted and you will see for yourself. It looked even worse in person, but this place fixed it right up! Tomalex even texted me later to check on my phone and to let me know I can contact him should the phone have any issue at all. Wow! it's been almost 24 hours and all is working great with no issues at all. I highly recommend them and will always use them (but hopefully won't need to). 5 stars all the way!
