The Cricket wireless service and prices are good. But this review is not about Cricket Wireless…read morebut rather about their Authorized Retailer in Thomasville, NC. In my opinion, they could care less about their customers. I will NEVER go back to this retailer. I went in the store to get a new phone (already an existing customer of Cricket). I selected a phone and paid for it, and left. When I got home, I discovered they had up-charged me way more than the stated price, plus against my stated wish, they added an $11 a month charge for insurance. I went back and they refused to do anything about anything. I had to call Cricket from their online website and finally got the insurance taken off but since it was an authorized retailer, independent of Cricket, the overcharge on my phone remained, since the retailer refused to do anything. It ended up being an unnecessarily hostile exchange with the retailer. From now on, all my dealings with Cricket will be online.
