The reps here don't fully explain the terms of your purchase, especially regarding trade-ins. I was led to believe I paid for my phone outright, but when I left Verizon for Spectrum, I found out I owed over $400. Why? Because my trade-in "discount" was being spread over 36 months--something that was never clearly communicated. It's a dishonest way to do business, and it cost me both time and money. I feel like I was manipulated into a contract I didn't agree to. Verizon already charges high service rates, and with sales tactics like these, they just lost a long-time customer. Do yourself a favor--don't trade in your old phone here, and better yet, don't walk into this store at all.

In my opinion, they could care less about their customers. I will NEVER go back to this retailer. I went in the store to get a new phone (already an existing customer of Cricket). I selected a phone and paid for it, and left. When I got home, I discovered they had up-charged me way more than the stated price, plus against my stated wish, they added an $11 a month charge for insurance. I went back and they refused to do anything about anything. I had to call Cricket from their online website and finally got the insurance taken off but since it was an authorized retailer, independent of Cricket, the overcharge on my phone remained, since the retailer refused to do anything. It ended up being an unnecessarily hostile exchange with the retailer. From now on, all my dealings with Cricket will be online.
