T-Mobile has only 3 towers here, one tower has been down for months. I caller T Mobile and found this out. My connection here is absolutely horrible. T-Mobile said that this area is challenging. Meaning to me that they can not provide a reliable connection. Driving through the phoenix area my conversations on my phone drop, my GPS drops, no signal SOS status on my phone. Then goes back to LTE still as slow as dial up was. Inconsistent service here. I called T Mobile numerous times and still my service in very mint. My son has Version and has no problems here. With T Mobile tech support telling me they only have 3 towers and one has been down for who knows how long, saying this is a challenging area for them. As I see my service connections continue to be poor. I would not recommend this company for anything here. I am very frustrated with this service. I even got SAT connected with them , they telling me this will resolve my connectivity. Guess what maybe a little but not good enough to say yah it did. Still inconsistent and slow. I recently upgraded my phone to the iPhone 16 Pro. Part of the upgrade process is trading in my old phone. It did not quite register that this is able to be done via mail, as I promptly discarded the box and mailing label that arrived with my new phone. Alas, my snafu landed me a visit to this T-Mobile store. Despite being midday on a Monday, I barely had to wait. I was assisted by Ellis, who was excellent. He walked me through the process of resetting my old phone and was diligent to make sure that I received all of the verification paperwork that I needed for my records. Though I never love visiting T-Mobile stores, this was a great experience and Ellis was extremely great to deal with. If needed, I will be back! read more

This might be long but worth it. I came in today around 11:30am because I needed to be verified through a T-Mobile store so I could get my number transfer pin (whole other story) 2 hours go by and I get no call back from whatever dept that handles that issue. So I went back to this location and call customer care again to get this pin and have the Rep at the store verify me. After arguing with customer care on the phone, your new transfer (assuming) from Cali named Stephen/Steven was a godsend. He had me grab my old T-Mobile phone, put a SIM card in it and locate my pin through the T-life app. That man, even though I was leaving T-Mobile after being a loyal customer for years and transferring over to Verizon, showed the most hospitality I've ever seen in any business I've been to. He took his time to help me out even though I wasn't going to be a part of Tmboile anymore. I just wanted to say thank you sooooo much to Stephen/Steven, everything transferred over and is working perfectly! And thank you again for helping me out for most of your day today, you can tell you really care about your job and the people you serve. read more

This is the location we always go to for any upgrades and issues. Today 2/15/2025, Matt was the associate that assisted us. Excellent customer service was provided. We were greeted when we entered by another guy, he provided excellent service as well and advised us that someone will be with us shortly. Visit was under 30min and all needs were meet. Watch out for this store Carlos has over 20 years of experience!! This was the worst experience with representatives at any mobile location I have ever had . The first thing that we get greeted with Ariana and her very nasty demeaning tone her nasty and unfriendly attitude informing us of a two hour wait and they close at five and they will not be helping anybody who is in the store after five. This is a Constant reminder to us of the poor Service T-Mobile offers. I have never dealt with such a disrespectful and sad excuse for a customer service representative. I was told by T-Mobile experts on the phone that I could drop off my Internet router at any one of the T-Mobile locations and I was told by Carlos that we can't. I just switched to T-Mobile and had a bit of trouble with trying to setup service over the support number. I decided to go in person and get the problem sorted. I was able to get everything set-up within 30 minutes with the help of Arcie. Arcie was attentive, quick, and efficient in everything he did for me. He also took the time to call over a fellow employee who was new and make sure she got hands on with this process. Definitely a great group of employees. Location was so busy people were walking out after waiting a hour. People need to learn to multi task. Workers stand there and wait 15 mins for a phone to do something and they just stair into space and dissappear to the back for 10 minutes at a time. While the phones are doing stuff on there own and there waiting they should ask other people what they need. What I needed took about a minute and 30 seconds and could have easily done it and not made me wait over a half hour. Patty is also rude, and before you can even finish a question she tells you no. After several conversations with different people getting passed around many times.They said to take it back to a place 30minutes away even though l had ordered it on line. Long story short they wouldn't take back or exchange. My mom had a terrible experience at this store. She purchased a new phone which would not work in her house. She could not get reception, they did switch it out for a different phone of the same model and it still would not work. She returned the phone and they refused to refund or credit the activation fee and restocking fee which totaled $60. She felt like they did not respect her as an elderly customer that has been a loyal t-mobile customer for over 16 years. I would suggest a different cellular provider. read more

Let me first start that I have never stormed out of a store before until tonight. I have been a tmobile customer since 2004. My story begins in Nov 2018 when my husb and I went into the store at 83rd and union hills. We were told by a male salesman that a particular phone was buy 1 get 1 free. We went through the entire process and right at the end the manager chimed in that they in fact were NOT buy 1 get 1. This was upsetting as we had now spent some time picking out the phones and cases and being sold on the glass screen protectors. The manager agreed to credit the account for the inconvenience (not sure that I ever received that)... And told us that the screen protectors can be replaced at any time. We left there satisfied as a crappy beginning atleast ended better. About 3 wks ago my husband went in the same store to make sure the credit was added after all. He requested the manager that had dealt with us the first time. She was in the back and my husband heard her yell "Well what does he want!?" She proceeded to say they would look into the credit. No one ever called us. Last week my husb went back in to have his screen protector replaced. At first the salesman said thats not something they do. My husb said what do you mean? We were told you would replace these for us. The salesman finally, but rudely, checked the inventory and said they were all out. Tomorrow is our sons bday. My husb and I ran up to the store tonight to pick him up a phone (his 1st one). We decided on the phone. Then we wanted to get a case and that screen protector. Nope. They had nothing in stock. Ok. I figured I will just buy a case on Amazon and pick up the screen protector at a later time. Nope. We have to buy the protector WITH the phone in order to get them replaced for free. Ok. So I said can I buy it now and pick it up later? Nope. I said but YOU are the ones that dont have it in stock. She said sorry this is how it is. I then pulled out my phone and asked to have my screen protector replaced while we were there. She then tells me I dont have insurance on my phone and thats the only way to get it replaced for free. I said what do you mean? I bought it in november and the manager told us the protectors get replaced for free. She said yes but only if you have insurance. I said that doesnt make sense cuz the lady would have said that when I bought the phone. I left frustrated and upset and vowed to not go back. All I wanted was a new phone for my son and screen protectors. Too many "no's" to a solid customer for 15 years. And the customer service is very stale. I think they all hate their jobs. read more

I have never been treated this poor by any company. I was promised a $600 trade in on my i8 phone with $300 more for my i12 pro. I wanted to pay this up front, but was told I could not do this at that time. I needed to contact TMobile directly witch I did and was told I owed $1100more. There was no record of my trade in. I also paid $150 at the store towards this phone. I was also charged for apple care insurance and other items I did not want. When I contacted TMobile they told me I had to go back to the store to fix this. I started service in February 2021 and was told my last payment would be in June 2023. They ended up giving me $600 credit they said my original down payment of $150 was only $150. They say they don't put you under contract, but that is not what they do by forcing you to make payments on phone. I get calls from TMobile stating I am entitled to a free up grade to an i14 Pro. This is also untrue. With my $600 trade in credit and &150 down payment. This phone should have been paid off in 9 months no 25 months. My advice get everything in writing from they. If I could give them zero stars I would. Tried to get the new Samsung Galaxy watch and there was an error on their end so the purchase would not go through. My bank account was charged multiple times and was told that it would fall off in a few days and it did not. They told me that they cannot reverse the transaction on their end because they have no record of it. Buyer beware!!! No one there was helpful not even the manager Maurice. I have been a TMobile customer for 10 years. I have a new phone and bought the togo replacement screen, where you can go into any store and replace the screen if its cracked at no charge. So I went in and the 1st person that helped me was very nice and had issues pulling up, another associate intervened and she said I never purchased it and can't find it on my account. I proceeded to tell her then why was other stores replace my screen with no issues? I asked for the manager, she said she was. Then proceeded to ask me, why am I giving her attitude? Girl let me tell you at that point, now she got attitude, who says that to a customer? A store manager? Not in my world of retail! Tara, the manager went to get someone else to help. I left the store after one of the nice gentlemen helped me with a phone issue. I didn't want her attitude anymore and for being a manager, she had no name tag on at all I had to ask her name! This is an update from my store experience recently. I went in on 7/24 and dealt with Josh about changing my pre paid account to a post paid account. He told us they had to open a new account for me and did all the credit and everything which was fine. He said the conversion would take 24 hours and after that we could come in and order the iPhone 7plus 256 gb and the down payment would be 341.00 which we were fine with . We go back in today and we are told the downpayment is now 565.00 plus a 25.00 fee we were never told of by Josh and with taxes we are looking at 661.00 down so basically 90 percent of the phone . They have the iPhone trade in special and we asked Josh about that and he said that we would get 300.00 for our phone and part of the would be take off the down payment and the rest would be mailed by a gift card . Today I am told my phone is only worth 120.00 and that we have to send the phone in where Josh told us they don't even take the phone. Also went they did the conversion they only converted 1 line of the 2 lines on my prepaid account . Needless to say there is a letter going to the BBB tommorow . The girl who helped us around 7:30 pm said this is why she hates doing orders in the store and we should order online . read more

Yesterday, November 3, 2015, my partner and I visited this store for an issue we are having with an HTC DESIRE . We purchased 4 cellular phones in August From another T-Mobile store in the Phoenix Area. We have had an issue with this phone since we purchased it. We are members of the JUMP program. We were close to this store, shopping and went in to see if T-Mobile would do something for the second time for this issue. The first time T-Mobile replaced it with a refurbished HTC DESIRE. Approximately three weeks ago. The second HTC DESIRE has started malfunctioning with the same issue. It will not recognize the memory cards. HTC DESIRE says the memory cards are "damaged". We have purchased 4 memory cards from different makers and various sizes which result in the same issue. Being a member of the "Jump" program , we had hoped that T-Mobile would credit us the amount paid for the HTC-DESIEE. $180.00 cash with monthly payments of $ 1.30 till balance paid in full. Due to like most people these days with less than perfect credit. (His case being on disability). The sales person ALI, felt it was his duty to make credit issues the reason . When in fact the HTC DESIRE malfunction is the issue. We asked for credit for what was paid for the HTC DESIRE toward the purchase of a new phone of a different maker and model , since the HTC DESIRE. is only approximately 4 months old. ALI informed me that since my credit was not stellar that all T-Mobile will do is pay the balance of $30.00 on the HTC DESIRE and We will have to pay full price for a new phone of our choice. We were told this is T-Mobile policy and he could do nothing more than return the HTC-DESIRE for the second refurbished HTC-DESIRE. MY ADVISE IS ...BUYER BEWARE, HAVE PERFECT CREDIT AND DO NOT EXPECT T- MOBILE TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONTINUING TO SALE A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. ALI WILL MAKE IT HIS DUTY TO MAKE ANY OTHER CUSTOMERS AWARE OF YOUR CREDIT STANDING . To make myself perfectly clear, I, like alot of Americans, don't have perfect credit, for one reason or another . After getting a new phone for Christmas and needing to have my info switched from my old phone to the new one, I headed into this T Mobile to get it done. Actually I had horrible customer service at a T Mobile closer to home, and the associate said he couldn't help me with my new phone. Erik at this store greeted us politely and never said anything negative about my phone as the person at the other store did. Erik was very helpful and had all my info transferred from my old phone to the new one in no time. He also taught me a few things about my new phone, and taught us both a bit about the cell phone industry and where we are going. He was very understandable that not everyone's cell phone needs are the same, and that there are many age groups and needs. He told me where I could get some informational guides about androids, to do some additional learning. He also taught me about the memory card that my old phone didn't have, but that was an option with the new phone. We were very grateful for the wonderful customer service. Now, it's important to note, rating an experience as five stars, doesn't mean there were no bumps in the road. However, what's even more important, is how the story ends. That's what makes, this ending to the story, a five star rating. We ran into a small bump, at first, but the team at TMobile store #8529, wasn't going to allow that. If you go to this store do not work with Keenan. He cheated me out of almost $200 by sticking insurance on 2 cheap phones I bought for my parents. He's a real piece of work and I look forward to karma coming to kick his ass. The insurance he stuck on were on phones that were only $120. The deductible was $100 and the phone value was $100 in their system. Been coming to this store for over 3 years now and I've never had an issue with anything on the store front side. Yes, I understand that with promotions, credits can take a while to show up, but that was explained to me in great detail by multiple reps, so due diligence is clearly a priority. I signed up for 2 new lines at 50% off both, got 2 new V20s (that LG is running a promo on so I get 2 free projectors from LG) and it was a BOGO offer! Got my case and screen protector and scored on some sweet UE Boom 2 speakers that were normally $400, got them for $250, out the door for 180 or so and got seriously hooked up! The crew there has been pretty consistent throughout the years and I have always been able to go back if I had any concerns, which were addressed either immediately or I was assured they would be within a few business days....guess what? They were! Every rep that has helped me remembers me and is always welcoming to anyone that walks into the store. All of them have been stellar over the years and I wouldn't go to any other store! I have always gone into this store for any issues, updates, purchases etc. and always got great service...until today. My phone was giving an error message and the first person I talked to took out the sim card, said to leave it out for an hour or so and it would be fine..NOT. So I went back and the young guy who waited on me said "we can replace it under warranty but if they find any water it will cost you $650 the full price (full price is $799 but OK. I asked how that could be since it's a water resistant phone and he repeated it. Again "how can that be if it's a water resistant phone".. yeah but if it gets wet the warranty is void.. then he adds "should I say it slower for you"? So I said, can't you check it to see.. NOPE. He goes back and gets his manager who politely says, we checked it there's no water damage so we'll warranty it. I then asked if there was a way to get it charged while I wait for the new one as it won't let me plug a charger in.. from across the room, the rude one says "you can't charge it on a wireless charger if it has that message" so I left, came home, put it on my wireless charger and guess what??? It's charging. The young lady was extremely polite and looked at everything she could do.. the young guy should find a new line of work.Customer service is NOT in his wheelhouse read more
