Because Michael is actually a former Samsung engineer, he was able to break down exactly what was happening in terms that were easy to understand. Even better, he had an original Samsung parts kit right on his truck, saving us from the arm-and-a-leg prices Samsung would have charged us directly. I had identified a Mr Appliance location that was listed as being less than 10 miles from my rental property, but was told by the person answering the phone that they did not service my area. ??? Since the person was in another country, she couldn't explain to me why a company located a bike ride away couldn't service my property. They asked if I wanted a recommendation for an appliance repair company that serviced my area and then proceeded to give me the phone # but the wrong name for a company in Washington State that has a 2 star rating. ??? I have used Mr Electric in the past and have always had a great experience. The two companies are related in some way as a "family" of service providers. Too bad Mr Appliance was a non-starter. I will never, ever use a contractor I cannot actually reach on the phone.

I guess she was training the young man. She looked up my account and proceeded to tell me I don't need WiFi calling so stop worrying about it not working. When I persisted she looked at her computer and supposedly had the young man "talk to the technician" who apparently said that the WiFi calling function was not released to Cricket yet. Again I persisted (it is in the information about that phone on the Cricket website that it supports WiFi calling), and supposedly they called Motorola who "said the WiFi is not ready yet". Again I persisted--this time she supposedly talked to a Cricket technician who told her to have me call 911 and have them add my address to their system to see if that would work. I BLEW UP!!! I am NOT going to tie up a 911 operator to do a clerical task while someone else having a heart attack cannot get through!!! It sounded like a bunch of BS to me. Approach this store with extreme caution--what lies within is not good. The store is 1855 Division in Gresham. After working with Motorola technicians, I was sent a new phone as Motorola has concluded that the problem with the WiFi calling is with the hardware of the phone.
