There was another review for this store I felt like cheering an "AMEN!!" into because I identified with her so whole-heartedly. I am also NOT a latest and greatest phone person and when my phone starts misbehaving or I thin I should start looking to upgrade I am ANGRY... I have had so many issues getting massively gaslighted at 3 previous cell phone companies that were just beyond ridiculous. Like telling me I was a valuable customer and after having the same phone for 3 years that was currently not working right & hanging up on people I could pay them RIGHT NOW over $300 for the privilege to pay more to upgrade my phone. Then flat out saying they could not explain why I needed to pay all this money but that the supervisor's suervisor's supervisor said so...but thank you for being a VALUED customer. That was 2 years ago and I hung up, called Verizon who set up a new phone for free in 15 minutes. With all that PTSD, I received phone upgrade info and was twitching a bit but genuinely was thinking a new phone did sound good as I use it for photos and was looking to up my quality game. I called and a nice enough fellow arranged a straight swap trade in which was pretty exciting - just a $35 upgrade fee. My only two complaints were that he said that there was a case on sale from $59.99 down to $4.99 but that was for a different phone (but seriously grabbed a really killer one from Amazon for $7.99 so whatever.... waited a day for Prime shipping) and also I mentioned having the store do the data transfer - especially since I was going in to pick up the phone anyway. Legitimately I am not a phone person - I want to tap on that damned thing as little as humanly possible - it is annoying enough knowing I will have to log back into all the things and have everything I access get to know the new phone. I am just constantly moving with fifty plates spinning at once so any wrench in the cog is just ...well, annoying. I walked in and was actually pissed off and trying to hide it because it was busy and a guy says there are three people in front of me and I thought at first he was dismissive. He actually wasn't - he was straight forward pointing out places to sit down saying they would be with me as soon as they could and genuinely he really addressed me the second I walked in which is great since they were pretty busy. And I actually was only waiting maybe five minutes when another person came over, addressing me by name and saying I was up next and it should just be a few more moments. Ok, wow...thanks. He had barely given me the update when another person came over asking how he could help me. When I said the upgraded phone I was told I could pick up. He was gone for a bit and brought the new phone out. I asked about the data transfer and he said it was $29.99 for them to do it. Flat out - having it done right...YES PLEASE. Plus he wiped my old phone and reset it so it is now ready for me to ship back when I get the box to do so. He tried to intake it there but confirmed with the powers that be I need to send it but just knowing it is wiped and ready is so great and the data transfer took longer but he really made sure it was done right. Another one of the reps came over to say hi and we three ended up having a great chat while waiting for the phones to do their thing since it was now slower in there. Everyone was just so friendly and seriously, technology is a bit of a pain point to deal with so having people treat you humanely and also making sure everything gets done right. And, I love my new phone, had next to no issues at all - just those little, first time opening an app hiccups that were much less of a burden. It is nice to know that I am likely in pretty great hands should I need to go into the store again. read more

Had an excellent experience on July 7th with Keaton & Naomi. I wanted to transfer my Dad's iphone out of my brother's account into mine as my father has passed away and it's sentimental to me. Keaton assisted in the transfer & assured everything would transfer over even passwords.And it would be exactly like it had been with the previous provider. July 8th i got some messages from apple when I tried to navigate on the phone.So I went into verizon today, on Cedar Hills Boulevard. Keaton was not there and another gentleman Franklin was the person that greeted me. I saw this franchise.I said that the messages wasn't working or the facetime. A warning he fiddled around with the phone, but he was preoccupied.The whole time checking text messages on his watch. He told me he did all he could and that I needed to go to an Apple store. Then, I asked him about my android phone and he told me, Ineeded to go to Samsung. I asked for assistance with turny tom's apps that alert me and make noise and his answer was, oh, just go to your phone and turn off the volume. Even I know there's a way to silence apps. There was a completely different staff and ambience compared to what I saw on Tuesday when I was at this store. I remember in past years, having this same experience when it felt like if they weren't going to be able to sell me a phone, they didn't want to help me. However on tuesday, they were more than helpful to help me.Bring my dad's home service over to my account. So I proceeded to go to my car and ask AI who assured me?I did nothing wrong that my representative was rude and not focused.And then they proceeded to tell me how to get facetime and messages back on my father's phone. The judges for verizon to have a so called experience.Sales guy in their store that didn't know how to do the simplest things is appalling. It was called a transfer of service.What I did with my dad's phone and they basically told me what to do with facebook, what to do with messages.And the one thing the gentleman did not do at the store was to turn my phone off and turn it back on again.I did these things that a I told me to do.And now everything works. So franklin gets a big zero.He doesn't belong working at that store. Keaton & Naomi belong getting a 10. If you look at the ratings for this store, it's a two point three, where I saw it.So somebody needs to do something to turn this around. read more

5 hours on the Phone! My iPhone 16 had battery issues. They sent a replacement but the wrong phone. 1hr to fix. Then 4hrs on the phone to activate. My calmer wife would not let me cancel my line and move to AT&T. Boo! read more

I ordered a phone online for pick up at this location (because the online offers are not always honored in-store). Instead of notification that my order was ready, I got a message saying that per MY request the order hade been cancelled. I did not make the request. I confirmed with Verizon service that someone IN THE STORE entered the cancellation. I can only assume this was so I would show up and place an order in person so the location could be the credit for the sale. I do not want to do business with people that act this shady. I went to another location and got what I needed. I will avoid this store going forward. In a previous transaction I was told they could not honor my online offer, and that if I wanted that (better) offer I would need to order it online for pick up. Suspiciously, when I went to order the phone on line, that particular phone - that I had JUST confirmed was there, was now out of stock and not available at this location. read more

Heads up they don't know what they're doing here. I came in for a simple trade in and needed to be done at a "corporate store" the employee Franklin who helped me was unwilling and pretty rude. He was super dismissive and just unfriendly. He wasn't willing to help me with my trade in at all. He was vague with his answers and just made things more confusing. I contacted my other store back home and they were more than helpful. They confirmed with me that the Beaverton store should've been able to accept my phone as it was a corporate store. Very upsetting experience with trying to register my beautiful new Apple Watch that I'm in love with to Verizon services for access to 911. As a senior citizen that's the reason I wanted the device for EMS and gyroscopic automation. I called ahead and spoke to a representative to prepare for u in person visit. They said just bring the box it came in so they could get the ID#. But when I got there I was told to go to the Apple Watch app to get the IMEI # which wasn't there. Then I was berated for not having set the new passcode yet even though it's new and I didn't know how. But they didn't offer to show me. She proceeded to tell me my watch was damaged, used, and defective and started to drill me on where I bought it and " was the seal on the box broken ". The only thing broken was my heart and I walked out!!!!!!! So sad read more

Verizon's system has drug me through the worst customer relations torture I have ever experienced. Absolutely horrible. In September, 2022 I contracted with them and got an iPhone 14 Pro Max and Apple Watch Series 8. But they never would pair, over many tries through the years. My fault I didn't immediately go back to them in person, but the watch was working OK with internet signals, I let it slip. Then I realized that Verizon has been charging me $18.83/month for a separate channel to the watch. It should have been working through the phone, at no extra charge, I never desired to have a discreet phone/internet connection. I had the extra $18.83 charge discontinued, tried to pair watch/phone, no dice. I have wasted many hours, 3 visits each to the Apple Store and Verizon, this watch for which I have paid absurd money is totally useless. Making the watch useful requires its serial number. I have gone over the entire exterior of it with high magnification, taken the wrist strap off to look under it, there is NO external serial number. Have to log onto the watch with user name and password, I have wasted hours trying to do that, it refuses anything I can find or come up with.. The Beaverton Verizon store that sold me the watch less than 3 years ago has no record of the watch serial number...REALLY??? Finally a Verizon tech "support" guy in Atlanta sent me a new watch, the lowest on Apple's inventory, to replace the upper end Series 8, said he "was giving it to me." Now I find that I'm paying for it, too. This truly has been the worst customer insulting, time wasting, frustrating/infuriating/humiliating example of big company arrogance and greed I have experienced. read more

While I agree completely with everyone's criticisms as many of the employees at this location have ignored me or were condescending. I have not received the best customer care from Verizon in person nor over the phone. When I first signed up for my phone line I was paying 80 now I pay 190 and no one can explain this price hike to me. However, I wanted to write the review specifically to say Lauren was attentive, helpful, and efficient making sure to answer my questions and resolve my issue even though it was troublesome. I came in near the time of closing and she didn't hesitate to help. She was professional and kind truly the first outstanding experience I've had with a Verizon employee. I am not the person that needs the latest and greatest. i hate buying new phones. I tend to hold on to my phone until it is on it's death bed, which is why I had to pay the Verizon Store a visit today. I didn't care to have the most recent IPHONE, but they seem to be having a good deal on the 13, so SOLD. I was super impressed with the entire process. Bernice was our sales agent, who was super patient with all our questions. The thing I dislike the most about getting a new phone, is transferring your data, and setting everything up again. Bernice told us we need an appoitment for that, as it can take a long time. Thankfully, they had an appoitment a couple hours later. We live near the store so it worked out fine, to leave and come back again. I was pleased on our return that we got Bernice again. She took so mch care transferring my data, putting the screen protector and new case on my beautiful new red phone. I don't think I could have done any of it on my own, It took nearly an hour to get everything set up, but we had such a fun time waiting on the phone to get set up. The 49ers game was playing, and there was fun banter taking place between staff, ourselves and other customers. I don't like football either, but it was enjoyable watching with the Verizon Team. Not sure why they get such negative reviews, the store is beautiful, well staffed, and stock, and all employees we spoke with were super friendly and fun. read more

The girl who helped was fine. It's not her fault. The issue is this, I currently have a phone through work. I had a 5 month old IPhone 13 Pro and the charging port stopped working. No one could figure out why. I have insurance on the phone but instead of getting a new one, they gave me a refurbished one. On The refurbished one the battery dies within 6 hours with minimal use. I'm changing jobs and need to have a private line now. I went into Verizon to start a new account of my own. Because my number is technically already with Verizon they won't give me any of the 'new user' deals. they offered me $400 for a 1 year old phone. But if I was a 'new customer' it would be $900 credit. Fine by me, I will go to AT&T or Sprint and get a brand new phone for free. Makes no difference to me. read more

Best service I've received from any business in a very long time! The manager and sales associate we worked with were so kind and understanding. I came in to upgrade my phone and had my baby and two year old son with me They went out of their way to help me quickly, engage my children, tell me not to worry when my son was screeching, and even printed out some Frozen-themed coloring pages after they heard it was a favorite. #67 Review for the 2016 Yelp 100 Challenge I was looking to upgrade and possibly add another line to my account. When arriving at a store knowing what I wanted and not necessarily want, I expected some sales pitch from their staff to make me decide on the spot. Or even worst, have a rude sales rep who will not be helpful at all... Not here in this specific location. Yes! Katrina was so helpful and indeed amazing. She answered all my questions. She was patient and truly understanding of my needs. She gave helpful options without making me feel rushed in making a decision. I ended up upgrading one of my existing phones, added a third line and picked up two iPhone 6s with lifeproof cases. This was the first time I was so pleasantly satisfied leaving a Verizon location. Ever. I dislike my Verizon location in the city of industry in so cal. The few times I have stepped foot in there, they were all very abrupt, no smiles, and not very welcoming nor helpful. I picked up my new Xr iPhone last night. I ordered it online the night prior to pick it up at this store closer to 6pm. It was an easy process to receive my phone but when I asked help on setting my phone up. The employee told me it would be easiest to do it at home with WiFi because it'll take a long time. Yet, when I moved back to the stated and got my last iPhone. I also picked it up at this location and the gentleman that time was super nice and helped me set my phone up with no issue. There were more employees then customers when I picked my phone up. This current time - Sadly, I did not receive the same great service I did the first time around. Yet this employee was super fast to try to sale me on a bundle deal of accessories I did not need at this time. Yet what was asked from him was to much. I lost my phone a few days ago, which was the reason for this upgrade. When I got home to set up my phone. I needed another phone to call Verizon to set it up. Yet - who has house lines these days. So, I needed help from a family member to call for me. It wouldn't even allow me to dial out or get ahold of a Verizon customer service agent. If I would have gotten help from the beginning - there wouldn't have been a much longer process than what became of all of this. Thanks a lot! read more

Management was excellent when dealing with a small discrepancy with the trade in value of a phone. Today I went in due to breaking the screen of my iPhone with only 3 payments before it was paid off. I was helped by Fatima. As much as I suspect that she may have been having a tough day, her attitude and customer service was extremely disappointing and un-acceptable. She repeatedly reminded me that since i did not have any insurance, that she was not able to give me any options. When i asked her about the options after taking the one and only she had given me for my current phone, she said: well maybe you can get the iphone XR, but that would increase your bill. She used no creativity, no kindness, no ability to relate to my issue, and when i confronted her that I was feeling bullied and treated un-fairly just because I don't pay extra for insurance; she became more irritable and reminded me that it was my fault she couldn't give me any options since I didn't have insurance. I let her know i was not interested in doing business with her further, and left. I went to the Tanasbourne/185th location and had a much better experience/over-all atmosphere. All i was looking for was compassion and creativity to find something that would fix my problem, but also fit my needs after "upgrading" to a new phone. read more

The wait was 15 minutes, which they mentioned when I came in and were apologetic about it. Great service, polite helpers. Piss poor customer service because I wasn't buying a new phone or upgrading. The female sales rep screwed up my account after I explained that I had 2 lines, wanted one phone switched to one number, and the other switched to the other and then removed. She went in the back and did everything but switch the plan before she got me locked out till the end of the billing cycle. She then told me too bad and I had to wait to change my plan. She didn't give one iota of care or admit she screwed it up. Which is exactly how the rep on the phone explained it. Last time I was here the sales rep tried to bend me over on my plan. He tried to set me up with 4g data with $30 access charge when the 6g data plan had $15 access charge and was only $10 more a month. I had to force him to write it out and he still was a waste of air. Clueless sales people. read more

The folks there are friendly and polite - so i'm giving two stars instead of one. However.... They know people that walk into the store have to wait around for help. Since they know this GIVE SOME SEATING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TO WAIT. They have a whopping 4 seats total for people to sit in. I'm sure this is intentional as a way to get people to walk around and browse at their products, but 4 chairs is ridiculous. We waited for 20 minutes only to hear "we cant help you in a store for that, you need to call the main number". Would have been nice to know that when we checked in.... read more

Unfortunately I've had good experiences in the past and just had a really bad experience to really bring down my review of this location. I was working with a gentleman and he was very helpful in helping me get the phone that I wanted. He let me know when it got to the store and arranged to hold it. The same day I drove into the store gave them my phone number and the guy at the front said we sold that phone today. He made me feel like it was my fault and he did nothing to keep my business there. Luckily there are lots of Verizon stores who aren't associated with this one! read more

I went to get help because I am from Beaverton, Oregon ,but at the time lived in Australia and wanted to test an Australian sim card before I bought a phone. These guys were SO UNHELPFUL and looked at me like my request was outlandish. I wasn't going to drop $500 on an unlocked phone and get back to Australia and find out it didn't work. Anyway, I went to another Verizon dealer, the one past 185th and TV Highway towards Hillsboro. the BEST! they were so helpful and patient and helped me with the sim card and connected the phone w me to test it out. They totally understood why I wanted to test it out and would have done the same thing. Anyway go to that one . Stay clear the one off cedar hills..they are only convenient because of the location. Make a trip out towards the one in Aloha. read more

Ok guys! This is important. I had lived 21 very loyal years with AT&T and they kept letting me down the past two years. I came to Verizon very skeptical on the whole "phone store" experience. Tyler and Nicholas at Cedar Hills Verizon understood me and this past experience with a different company. They took the time to answer ALL of our questions and give us all the proof we needed to switch companies with great comfort. Tyler took all the time we needed in transferring over the phones without getting impatient with us. Super happy with our Verizon service too.
