We have received an excellent service from the team working on both of our cell phones at the same time. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and left very good impression on us. Dana was incredibly professional and was able to answer my many questions, properly manage my family's cell phone plan and help me walk out with a new phone. WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS T-MOBILE. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION. I was at this store on 7/14/2023 @ 1pm. Wanted to get pricing on getting a new phone. Ask for my ID to pull up my account to give me more details. Was told will get good deal if I switch my current plan to a new one which will increase $75 a month. I told them I will talk to my son and will come back. Without my consent they switched my plan. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Had to call TMobile customer service for hours to fix this issue. I place telecommunications companies somewhere near the bottom of "companies I can't stand to deal with but have to because I have to have their service or product"--right above Banks and Credit Card companies. I suppose if I needed a car, I'd put Used Car dealerships somewhere near there, too. But this review really isn't about T-Mobile itself--the company I love to hate and hate to love, even though they've been consistently brilliant as a mobile provider. This review is about one store employee who spent time with me, listened to my needs, looked up my account and analyzed the features I currently have and the ones I don't really need, showed me myriad phone options, went the extra mile to get a tremendously great pricing plan on a new smart phone and then cheerfully refunded my entire purchase when I took the phone away and became frustrated with it. How many people working retail would delay their lunch break when a customer calls up & says they're on their way to return a product? Jamila did. Jamila. First name good enough. Jamila. She is one of the best customer service people I've ever worked with, and she deserves more praise than I can possibly write in a review. Jamila. Make sure you ask to see they have the phone first. I'm ready to sign up all excited and to then having to wait twice bc they have their phones locked up where it takes 5 minutes till it unlocks. My view of T-mobile is permanently poisoned over their staff's inability to answer the simplest of questions and execute the simplest of tasks. I could write for an hour but what's the point? They cannot figure out that their new tablets qualify for 200mb free for the life of the tablet, even though it is clearly explained on their web site. If they were attempting to create a regimen to alienate customers they could not do a better job intentionally than they have done with their inane insipid incompetence. My visit to this T-Mobile Sunday before last (October 11th to be exact) was nice at first until I realized a day later what kindly fuckery I got myself into. I came in to trade in my iPhone 5 for the new 6s. I was quickly greeted by a young girl named Kiran. Bless her heart. She's young and excited about her commission for the day. She started to ring me up and said "okay! So your total to do the 'jump' program and get your 6s today is going to be a total of $216. You also get 100 dollars worth of accessories included with your purchase!" I said "so, I don't have to pay anything extra for these accessories?" She replies "nope! The 216 covers the first payment of the phone as well as the accessories!" I said "oh... Cool! Too good to be true" then, instead of letting me pick the items I wanted, she rushingly picked out a case, a glass screen protector and some kind of GPS for my keychain? (I don't know) and said "alright almost done!" She then started applying the glass protector on my new phone and case as well. I swiped my card and as she was finishing my transaction, I still had my iPhone 5 in my hand in confusion and I quickly said "so what happens with my old phone? How does the trade in for the 6s work?" She immediately had a freaked out look on her face and said "oh shit... I totally forgot you are doing a trade in! Omg omg omg" the experience totally changed right there. She then said "you're only supposed to be pay half the price since you are trading it in...so it's only supposed to be 108..." I said "so now what??" She said "I'll quickly do a return back to your card and just Charge you the 108. You should see the 216 returned back to your account and the 108 charged." She then swiped my card AGAIN. I left happy with my purchase thinking I saved some money, only to find out two days after that, that there was NEVER a return to my card!! I spent over 300 dollars to get this stupid phone! I called back and they were REALLY shitty about understanding how they fucked up my transaction. I demanded my 216 back. It took them a whole damn week to figure it out! And they didn't even refund me the right transaction! They refunded the $108 transaction instead which still left me with a missing $108. I mean how dumb is this whole staff? And they have like 5 different managers and none of these people know how to do a simple return. Kiran could give less of a fuck at this point, she just seemed annoyed that I even called back to get a proper return. So there it was. When I should've only paid 108 there was still that damn 216 charge. Another manager said "I'm sorry give me two more days to fix it" two days go by and still NOTHING. I call again and I speak to the GM of the store. She claims that the extra 108 that was never returned was for the PHONE ACCESSORIES I never asked for or picked!! I'm not going to take the time to go back and return these accessories because I'd rather NOT return back to this group of idiotic managers and staff members. Horrible service! Unfortunately I don't recall representative name, but it was not helpful at all! I asked for help with the battery that keeps charged about an hour. He just looked inside the phone, opened the phone, took out the battery and said that battery is fine. I need to send the phone to tech center for repair. And it will take at least a week.Usually, other centers call t-mobile to ask if they don't know the answer, but this one was very sure about himself. And all that time as he was looking at my phone he was asking me questions: where you name comes from? Where are you from? Where do you work? What do you do there? What is your title? Yep..all of those questions that have nothing to do with the phone. If he wants to have a nice light talk, he can talk about the weather. I didn't want to be mean, so I answered, but I left with my phone. Right after that I called t-mobile, described what was going on, and the lady send me new battery. With new battery the phone is fine! Bottom line - this location don't know what they are doing and don't go there with problems! read more
