I needed a SIM card for my iPhone 5. I came to a T-mobile store at 2510 S. Figueroa St. but they ran out of nano SIMs. Melina was very kind to show me on her phone the address of this store and told me that I could get a nano SIM here. It was in downtown and very hard to find a parking. I paid $4 for parking since it's early Sunday. When I got in, there were no one in store. I friendly asked Julio to buy a nano sim. He said it was $29.99. I was very surprised cause a SIM card on T-mobile website is just $10. I bought a few SIMs card for me and my fiends sometime and it's usually $10 at above T-mobile store. I told him that previous store told me it was just $10. He said "Then you can go back and buy from them!" I was shocked. I asked Julio again if he could price match? He again replied "NO!". No smile and with an aggressive face. What a terrible service! I asked Maria, next to him, for a T-mobile store around area. Maria showed me one store at 750 W 7th St, just 4 blocks away. I came to this store and got a nano SIM for $20. Sharron here was very friendly and even validated my parking ticket by going to to a LA fitness room near by. I almost paid $30 for a SIM card at this store because I really need it for my phone interview on Monday. But I could not stand for JULIO's RUDENESS, so I walked away. I recently spen 2-hours trying to port my sprint phone to T-Mobile and purchase a new T-Mobile phone. The young lady although a good sales person - which is why i decided to switch - was lousy at knowing the technology involved in transferring contacts from one phone to another; am glad her co-workers knew how to do this. When i agreed to sell her my Apple cell phone she refused to delete/clean all information from my phone, said it 'was company policy, for store staff not to do this'. after i raised privacy issues, her co-workers advised her that such policy was not true and went ahead and deleted my personal information. The phone i purchase an LG model although new, did not have a headset, not once did Sara try to get me to purchase one instead she asked that i call back tomorrow (it was getting late for her and she was hungry) and for me to provide my Sprint account number so she could finish porting my number. I called the next day gave my account number now her co-worker is asking for a PIN number, i gave and now i have to wait for 'Sara" to complete the sale. Last night - through the internet - i purchased a new car and had the vehicle delivered to my home with NO ISSUES involved. I can't believe to port and purchase a phone number from T-Mobile is more difficult than purchasing a car. I wanted a new phone and I was eligible for my upgrade so when I went i was greeted very quick and a young lady named Gloria/Pam and she was very nice and knew exactly what I wanted. She was also very tech savvy and knew everything about my new phone, I was scared of going from android to iphone but she told me about the benefits of having an iPhone and since I have my MacBook Air computer she told me I can do so many things and I highly appreciated. She didn't pressure me to buy the phone like other sales associates that only care about commission, The customer service that she gave me was great. I strongly recommend her! Tmobil customer service is the worst. My dad went in to make my payment at the store on July 15 and to cancel the automatic payment that was supposed to post to his account. Their representative takes the payment but fails to cancel the automatic payment. It posted to his account and throws it out of balance and caused a domino affect off fees. He went to the store to get an apology letter for their error so his bank can reverse the charges and he was told that at the store they did not have the authority but to call customer service and they would help. It is now Sept 5 and after going back and forth and faxing bank statements and numerous phone calls they are still reviewing and possible in the next 72hr he may get the letter. This review is solely based on the customer service I received a couple of weeks while adding a line and a couple of upgrades. On my second visit I was assisted by DANIEL. Hands down the best customer service I've experienced, Daniel was extremely knowledgeable, he wasn't afraid to be honest about certain products and he listened to what I was looking for on my next cell. He did not try to up-sell, I chose our cell phones, he processed my purchase and got my cell phones up and running. If you find yourself in the market for a new cell phone and in the area; ask for Daniel. FYI, I am not related nor did I know Daniel prior to my visit. This is an honest, NO bs review. Everything was explained thoroughly on how the jump program works and any questions I had were answered. Thankfully I was able to speak to someone over the phone before going into the store to make a purchase. I called to ask if they had a certain phone in stock and it was like as soon as he heard my voice his attitude changed and he became very short and rude with me. This location has been my go-to and my favorite for over three years since I've lived downtown. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful and Ulices specifically is always an amazing help to me! The last time I lost my phone and needed a replacement he was so helpful and this past time when I lost my phone I basically Bee-lined to him because I always have such a great experience with him. So much so that I accepted the iPhone 11 instead of the pro because that's what they had in stock and I didn't feel like dealing with new people at a different location where they had the pro in stock. That is due to his amazing customer service! Although Ulices is my go-to person...it's clear that everyone working there including the supervisors are excited to help out their customers. Great service. I've been helped by Maira on more than one occasion and she, at least, is always super helpful. I just changed my phone from a Samsung to my very first iPhone and Maira helped me and was patient with me while I set it up and figured it out (I'm Apple illiterate). She didn't make me feel like I was taking up her valuable time even though I probably was (sorry and thank you for that!). Overall a good T-Mobile location. I recently bought a Samsung cell phone in this store. When I unpacked the accessories of the phone at home, I discovered that the charge adapter has a three-prong U.K. plug not usable in the U.S. When trying to register the phone for warranty, Samsung told me that the phone is solely for the Asian market and not eligible for sale in the U.S. When trying to return the phone the next day, they refused on the grounds of their policy that all sales are final. I strongly recommend to avoid this store unless you like to be cheated! read more

This is review is for T-Mobile in general. I just signed up for a plan with them. Called back, due to a prior issue still having not been taken care of. I was told when I called that they took down my SS# was taken down by their operator incorrectly and I would have to be the one to correct that at a T-Mobile store. Funny how when they wanted me to sign up they had no problem going through 20 questions for "My own security", but now when something else, (their fault) needs to be done, it must be done in person, for "My own security". The operator was also extremely rude and would not let me speak with a supervisor. DO NOT GO WITH T-MOBILE, unless you want the ghetto of all cell phone companies. I walked into this location about a week ago with my girlfriend. As I walk in I see only one customer service Rep texting on her cellphone. She didn't even acknowledge us as we walked in, I browsed the phones for about five minutes Untill I deacide to ask her for help. When I did she kept bring up having a service connection for my girlfriend and I after I've told her several time I just needed my own service. So as I ran my credit she had issues trying to figure out why my name wont go thru for service. " I had tried connection online prior to coming in and came in to finished my connection. " anyways I told her about that and she didn't seem to understand what I was telling her. Anyways after waiting around she told me to call T-Mobile because she couldn't figure it out. So after about a hour of going inside I realize that she still had my I.D from running my credit. When I go back to get my I.D I asked another Rep about my I.d and told him the lady Rep took my I.d. so he gos and checks back and tells me the woman Rep had my I.d and she tried to run out the store to let me know and she was sorry. Lol ummm I was outside the store for about ten minute and no she didn't come outside and try to give it back. This place has bad parking also. Its on a busy street and you have to pay for parking! Horrible place.to top it off I just ended up buying the service online due to her incontinence. read more
