So I called Spectrum to set up service and they told me that I just have to say that I rent a room and I need a new connection. I told the guy on the phone when I called Spectrum, I want strictly Internet I'm not going to change my phone nor am I going to buy TV. I told him if he kept going on and on I was gonna hang up on him and that's exactly what I did. So I came here in person and told them what I was told, that I would just have to get my own connection And that I would have it set up as I rent a room. She said no you can't make any changes to the account because you're not the account holder. I explained to her that I have nothing to do with my landlord and I would need a new connection. I don't pay his bills he doesn't pay my bills and we are not affiliated. I said that I need a new connection as in a new router. She said she can't do that unless my landlord comes in person with his ID. Screw that. I told her that she should call someone higher than her to verify that this is what I was told and she said she can't do it.

Got notifications saying that my bill needed to be paid and still was not allowed to pay it on the app. Still got to run around when I called. Need to say I'm taking their equipment back and going back to AT&t and I would advise the same for anyone that's thinking about spectrum
