Mike was VERRRRY helpful and patient with us through the whole process. Because of the merge (T-Mobile and sprint) things were more complicated however he and all the staffs (unfortunately didn't get all the names) helped to get everything up and running. These guys there were lazy and ignorant. Never should have done shopping there. I was there and would like to ask the sale person a simple question (literally less than one minute), arrived at 7:25pm, they moved very slowly and seemed to do nothing. Then came back again at 8:15pm, waited there until 8:40pm, finally got the turn to ask the question, but the sale rep push back and asked me to wait even more; fed-up and walked away; they would never get my business again. I live nearby, almost walk through this store a few times each week, these guys are most lazy there and doing nothing. There are AT&T and Version stores right nearby, the sale reps at these stores are much more friendly and respectful. read more

I have had problems with my T-Mobile phone and tech support told me to go to the T-mobile store to have my cell phone reset. The manager of the store (Ben) told me my iPhone SE was obsolete and the only resolution was to buy an upgraded phone from him. I didn't do it and just got off the phone with a tech supervisor at T mobile who told me that my current phone was fine and that they could resolve the problem. These guys that work at T-mobile have the worst customer service I have ever seen! When I first entered the store, I knew I would need an ID to get access to my T-mobile plan, but unfortunately my Trusted traveler ID was the only available government issued ID I had available on me at the time. It took a few moments for the workers to notice me in the store, stop their conversations, and then one of them finally approached and greeted me. I made it VERY clear to the sales associate who was helping me that my ID is in fact government issued (it lets me come back into the country more easily after going abroad to other countries and gives me TSA precheck) and it was the only photo ID I had available to give to him. He took it to the back to ask his manager if it was okay, for about 10 minutes. While he was in the back, the other sales associates were very loud, not helpful, and didn't acknowledge my existence (they basically had conversations over me) and didn't ever once say hello. When the man who was helping me returned, from talking to his manager, he said they will not/cannot accept this form of ID just because it's not compatible with the system (which I completely understand), but please don't tell me and customers all you need is a government issued photo ID, when my ID is not actually accepted. He then went on to tell me "If you have your visa with you we'll be able to accept it." I then respond "So you'd need my US passport?" and he responds "Um..Yes." Any person with common sense could tell you why this statement does not make logical sense. 1. If I had my passport on me (which is a well known option of a photo ID), why would I be giving you my trusted traveler ID in the first place? 2. Why would I put myself through all this headache if I had another form of ID on me? 3. If my trusted traveler ID is not compatible, then why would having a "visa" make a difference? It wouldn't, because he would just use the visa as the photo ID. 4. Who calls a passport a visa? Technically, a visa is the thing that says you can be in a country for x amount of time, and different ones are issued dependent on what you're going to be doing in. I don't need a visa to be in America, because I am an American citizen. So once I again made it VERY clear to him I did not have any other form of ID. He then continued, to just tell me okay... Didn't really say much else. His tone was never apologetic or friendly. never apologized once for the inconvenience. He also seemed a little intimidated talking to me. Did not even ask me if there was anything else he could do to help... He did not have basic communication skills people need to have when working in retail service. NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS STORE FOR HELP THE NEXT TIME! I WILL MAKE THE TREK TO ANY OTHER T-MOBILE STORE, in order to avoid this type of customer service.
