To fully appreciate this review, you need to look at the review I posted when I visited the…read moreBlackstone Valley Apple store in Millbury yesterday. I had such a bad experience that I decided to drive the 33 miles to see if Natick could be as bad as Millbury. I fully expected to get treated horribly because this is another Apple store and Millbury team pretty much made it clear that Apple customers are not wanted! So when I called ahead to try for an appointment and I was told they are maxed out and the only hope I had of having my problem discussed was if I went to the store. So I took my poor attitude and my admitted determination to engage this enemy in a fight to fix my 5 month old phone. As I walked in and surveyed the room, it looked like everyone was busy helping customers. Quite different from Millbury. Then I noticed Johnny who was dressed like a security guard who also played football. But I wasn't sure if he worked there. He looked right at me with a smile so I walked toward him slowly and he simply asked "do you need any help?" Whoa!!! A caring Apple person who genuinely meant it?? I told Johnny the same thing I "tried" to tell Mr Rude and condescending" over in Millbury. That my phone was not working right. Johnny directed me to Ken who was helping another customer. But Johnny also kept looking my way as if to make sure I was getting what I needed. Ken checked me in and after I received his text, told me I'd receive another one in about 45 minutes saying they are "almost" ready and at that point I should go to the front and let them know I was here. WOW! Information delivered professionally AND with a smile? That wasn't learned along with how to be the most smug as they surely teach in Millbury. Sure enough, I received the email in 45 minutes. hmmm. expectations met!! I then walked toward who it looked like was running the show. Matais (SP?). This guys was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and delivered every word with a smile and a helpful attitude. You could just feel that he cares! He told me that the next step is Ken again, who will get the tech assigned and will get the problem solved. Obviously at this point I'm wondering how Millbury stays in business if there is an Apple store within 33 miles that will make customers WANT to come back again! Afterall, I DROVE those extra miles and I'd consider that the price of doing business! I was assigned to a table with a tech already working on a couple issues but here comes Matais who explained he wasn't a tech but had an idea what might be wrong with my phone. He qualified it by saying he didn't know but just wanted to try something while the other tech wasn't there yet. He figured out that I had two sites (I-cloud and my own Gmail acct) that were collecting contact information and that may be causing part of the problem. He verified that, and then dumped all the gmail accounts into the i-cloud. It sure seemed like that was one of the issues. The tech (Dave) then showed up and Matais thought it waqs a good idea to let dave still do a diagnostic while he was there! dave was also professional, friendly and informative. My only problem now is that I live in Florida but if I could come to this store for any issues...I would!!! What a shining example of what Apple stores / customer support people should be. To Apple corporate - here's a suggestion to help your company. 1. Make every employee at Millbury spend an entire week at this store learning how to treat customers and become a valuable employee. 2. Offer one of these guys a job as a leader in Millbury 3. Say thank you to the guys mentioned here but also recognize the others...this store should be highlighted as an Apple gold standard! as I said at the top...I expected a bad time, but from Johnny to Dave and everyone in between...it changed my feelings about Apple!!! thanks guys!!!

Jackie! Jackie! Jackie!…read more Jackie helped me resolve a glitching new business phone. (I'll forgo the minutia regarding the phone problems. Rather I want to highlight how it was taken care of.) I am over-the- moon happy as to how she resolved the issues. I cannot say enough, glowing things about her patience, understanding, and willingness to make a customer happy. I am a happy Apple customer because of Jackie. Thank you!!!

On top of explaining things to us halfway, and not being fully truthful with what he was saying, he acted like this was the best decision in the world. I asked him questions about how the plan worked and how much things cost on the plan, and what he said did not match at all with the plan we have now as I was checking it online. I asked him how much the accessories were and he did not give me a price, just said "its cheap, and they are the same price" - each accessory was above $60 and all different prices - in what world is that cheap? Granted he did give me a few discounts which I appreciated so much on his part, as everything is expensive now a days, but in all other ways I did not feel he was fully explaining things to make sense. He offered to remove the acivation fees off the plan and give an additional $200-$300 discount on each phone over a few bill cycles (I got on a plan with my mom), which none of this came to be. I called Verizon and they told me I have to go back to the store I went to and talk to the same attendant about what he promised me as they did not see any of the discounts and $$ removals on the plan. I asked for the confirmations of what he was offering me in writing, and he did not help me at all with that, he just said "don't worry I will remember" - and I said, no I want it in writing. He then all of a sudden started to pay attention to another customer that had walked in with a family of 4, all getting new phones and left us to finish the phone transfers on our own... he then only came back to finish the accessories transactions and was going back and forth not answering my questions. This is very rude - as there should be one attendant per customer, no matter how long they've been there. He did not tell me that I needed to call Verizon and finish the transfer from AT&T, nor did he help me do it... I was being charged from AT&T for an extra 2 days bc I trusted him and didn't know that the transfer wasnt completed - until I called Verizon myself and dealt with the matter with customer service, and found out that I wasn't scheduled to get any of the discounts he promised. I am very upset that these phone stores care more about making money than taking care of the customer and their needs - at this point, I might as well call the phone company and deal with everything over the phone - they treat you much better anyways.

The salesman gave me a flyer on the warranty insurance should I need to call then showed me a variety of cases and rang me up with his tablet. In and out. We have switched all of our phones over now. Jessica and Brandon deserve this one- it's all about these folks. Jessica: She knows what she is selling, both the plans and the products. First thing she did was identify the issue with my billing. I was paying too much and she point blank said so. I had not said one word about the visit to t-mobile. I instead told her we were looking to update my daughters phone which was true and part of the draw to investigate t-mobile. She proactively identified the opportunity to save and get new phones. Off to the races with the plans, the equipment, the options for my 12 year old in storage, safety, etc. She did it all from the trade in to the accessories and we walked out with watches and better plans with a better bill- if they could clone this woman there would be nothing but 5 stars from everyone on here. I consider going into any of these kind of stores be equal to a root canal so I get why people don't normally rate well but I am telling you go to this store and ask for Jessica. Wait for her. She's worth it. We are looking forward to going back to do the switch ups to the new equipment- it's just the way it's supposed to be. Final note on Jessica: she's a very good person. It takes a lot of patience with a 12 year old young lady picking out pop sockets and such even as her mother- much less as a professional with others waiting to be served. Jessica is the real deal. She saw my daughter as a client. My daughter has never felt so important and quite frankly these are expensive purchases so it meant a lot. All around rock star experience! Thank you, Jessica. Truly a pleasure and you have established two lifelong customers. Brandon: Shout out to Jessica's associate, Brandon. He overheard us discussing some challenges and jumped in with some personal recommendations on chargers and a safety option for our car. We could not be more pleased with his suggestions for the Belkin products. He also was very informed, was fiscally reasonable in what he recommended, and tailored the choices he offered to us. Brandon, appreciate you! As a former senior leader in a Fortune 500- attention leadership: these two are your high performers. Promotions! Raises! Recognize these folks! They are living the brand and they are what differentiates your store from the others up and down route 9. No gimmick will lure folks once they get with someone like these two. I would follow them to the next place- and that's the truth. Best experience in any phone store in my life hands down. Anyone needing a change, this is where you go. Ask for these two folks. Wait for them if you have to, because you will walk out with what you need, you'll know how to use it, and you will get a bill that makes sense for your family. Thank you, Jessica and Brandon!!!

There is no question they have all the products and services in a store nicely laid out and clean. But, looking for a specific product can be daunting so I approached a group of 3 blue shirts casually standing around and chatting. Only one associate said he would take me over there but instead of staying with me and insuring I knew I had the right thing, he just walked away.
