The only thing worse about the location of this store (at an intersection of a busy street) is the customer service, or should I say or lack there of. I came in, wasn't greeted at all. One person was helping some customers and the other was just talking to his friend. I stood there waiting for awhile and was never acknowledged so I ended up leaving because it was all very weird and awkward. I have never been here before but my usual store on Easton Ave closed down so I decided to give them a try. I now see why they have such negative reviews and I guess they don't plan on changing it. I drove up to the East Brunswick location and was promptly helped. Avoid this location if you can. Also, I tried calling multiple times before I came in but no one ever picked up. My replacement phone was delivered to 695 Georges Rd N. Brunswick, location. I read the reviews before I went today and was a little worried but when I got there I learned it was under new management. Calvin provided great customer care and professional service. I didn't have to wait. It got a little busy but he multitasked well and had support. No customers appeared upset and we were all processed quickly. There are a couple other stores nearer to me but I will instead go back to this store. So I would say to all those that gave a 1 star before, that was under the old management, and give this store another opportunity. I hope you have as good experience as I did. The staff is extremely lazy and disrespectful. My dad was there yesterday and today around 7 pm he simply ask for help/ information about exchanging his phone. They said that he doesn't apply. Yet I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM T-MOBILE and they told us that we could exchange his phone. I've t mobile for about 12 years now and IT INFURIATES ME that lazy, unethical, inexperienced, dishonest people work there. Wish I would have read the reviews before going to this store. I went to change my phone so that I could migrate from sprint to T-Mobile. The women looked at me and said, " the system is down". I waited another week and came back and it was the same story. I sensed that the associate didn't want to be bothered with my transaction, so I asked for a manager. Denisse came out to help with the migration and didn't know what she was doing. She had to call another guy on the phone for help. While I was waiting, another customer walked in for the same service, but they associate I spoke to in the beginning didn't tell him that the system was down , she helped him. After I saw that, I took my phone and switched to Verizon. I was a sprint customer for 20 years! Their poor customer service costed them a loyal customer. read more

I had to go to this store to get my replacement phone picked up since the store closer to me didn't show up in tmobile's system for shipping. For just 2 people working there, music was way too loud. Spanish speaking customers got special treatment and better service, I believe. The staff member who helped me out, was constantly on her phone. While transferring 10 gigs of data from old to new phone, forgot to connect my phone to wifi and used my data plan for that. When I mentioned it, shrugged it off saying 'it was an honest mistake.'. I am surprised that a tmobile store offering technical assistance doesn't have USB cable and adapter for data transfer, which is way faster and reliable. The rep Maria M. said 'it's complicated' with the cable. Really??? I wouldn't recommended this store to anyone, at least someone who is even a bit tech savvy!! Horrible service!! read more

Called them to ask a simple enough question. "Is this phone in stock?" You'd think I had just asked them to roll a boulder up a mountain with the amount of sighing! He actually said, "I'm not sure." After a long silence I realized he was not even checking, so I asked if he could check. I had been with Verizon wireless for 12 years and recently my family and I wanted to upgrade 4 lines to the iPhone 11 for Christmas. On Dec 3 I got an agent on the phone who working with a supervisor offered me a deal of 400 credit off each phone with trade in. I accepted but agent told me trade in had to be sent in within 2 weeks so he Said he would have to call me back on Dec 15 enabling me to gift the phones by Christmas and have enough time to trade in. The agent never called back and I spent 6 hours on the phone trying to get them to honor their original commitment listening to lies and promises but the commitment was never honored. I switched to T-Mobile for a better deal. If I could provide zero stars I would read more

This store sucks so bad!! Manager and Manager's wife is horribly unprofessional. They are running a business and don't even know how to do it! They treat customers bad, they are only seeking to do some sales when honestly what sometimes we customers go is for help and they always offering something with a purpose of not working for customers. I had two friends that were working in that location and they left so disgusted towards this girl Maria, she is so unprofessional and also her husband. They never payed my friend their comission, they stayed with the money and also never payed them the hours, so unprofessional i swear this people shouldn't even have a vending license at firsts. Also a plus is that this girl when i tried to talk to her she didn't even know how to respond or do nothing, the whole time she was speaking spanish and asking questions to her husband, her english is not quite good and she had to be asking the whole time to her husband what she could do to help me. I guess she never received training just because of the fact that she is married to this dude that's running this place. But honestly, never coming back, is the nearest tmobile to my house and i have to go to the one in French Street because they do treat people nicely, totally don't recomend this store to anybody. I dread going in here. They always ignore me and help customers who come in later than me who are Spanish speaking, they blast their music too loud, they're texting instead of helping you and they always have the wrong information. Very lazy in the customer service department and not friendly. It's very frustrating. I always have to call customer service to fix their mistakes or go to east Brunswick for some real help. I understand relating more to people who are like you but you can not let that affect your work. I'm not the only one who's dealt with this at this location. Even my own Spanish speaking friends have noticed it. I don't want to call it being prejudice. They just provide the best service to their own people . If you're going to do that (which is wrong) at least do it when other customers aren't around . Just go elsewhere. Not worth it read more
