My mom and her husband went to T-Mobile to get their phone screen replaced after being told they had a lifetime warranty--turns out, it was a complete scam. They paid $60 back in February, and now it's July. Since then, they've been sent back and forth between multiple stores, with each one refusing to honor the warranty. Do not buy accessories or add-on services from T-Mobile. If you absolutely need to use their phones or plans, fine--but steer clear of anything else they try to sell you. I only selected a star to start the review. Truth is I want an upgrade for free. I didn't get it. A customer for 18+ years, have 4 phone lines, use auto-pay & paperless statement. Never asked for anything extra b4. IT WAS THE JOURNEY to the 'no' that made me post to Yelp! It took 3 weeks and 5 reps later to get the NO answer. Here's why: 1. A 90min wait on 2 call attempts used the 'don't lose your place in line' callback option. 2. After I talked to a rep-the 1st rep did not call back as promised. Neither did the 2nd rep. 3. A couple times, although I specifically requested that my account be noted, it wasn't. Was holding 40mins on one call while the rep searched notes & looked for previous rep 4. Mgr/supervisor called back wrong phone line and left a VM on my daughter. 5. After taking their phone survey and rating them 'dissatisfied', they had a rep call & ask me a single question 'Were all of your questions answered?' Yes. The reps reply, 'OK'. **T-Mobile, when following up on a very dissatisfied rating, you should ask open-ended questions. DO NOT GO HERE! WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I am not one to leave a bad review, but this T-Mobile store sure changed that. Here is my experience with this T-Mobile location. I was a sprint customer who wanted to switch over officially into the T-Mobile system and be part of the T-Mobile family. I was a new customer to T-Mobile, and the way this store treated me was just disgraceful. I wanted to migrate over and first began this process on a Saturday. An employee was first helping me out but needed help, so he called over the instore manager Robert. He tells me the system was down and to come back Monday. Therefore there I was trying to be understanding and came back two days later. Once I go again, a different employee tries to help me but did not know what to do, and Robert told the employee to call tech support, and there I was waiting for more than an hour in the store. Robert then tells me to CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE MYSELF becuase they do not know what to do. Now I start to get a little frustrated. I called customer service myself on Tuesday, and the representative told me there was no type of outage or errors with the system to come back and try one time. Now here I go again on Thursday, to another different employee with the same thing, walking around frequently to the back of the store continually asking the manager what to do. The manager told the employee to come out and ask me to come back later to investigate further. I was like, ok, that is fine, annoyed once more. I came back hours later and walked into a different employee telling me the manager left home for the day after being told he would help me out. This employee knew I wanted to switch over and kept trying to hand me over to different employees who were attending to me prior to avoid me. At last, this employee finally came out and stated they DO NOT GET TRAINED for migrations. She told me to GET HELP SOMEWHERE ELSE. I spent three days' worth of my time FOR NOTHING at this store. This nonsense is ridiculous. NOT ONE employee nor manager knew what they were doing. I took my business elsewhere, and the employees at a different T-Mobile store resolved my matter in less than an hour. I was not too fond of feeling lied to, mistreated, and thrown around. Corporate seriously needs to look into this matter and determine why these employees and managers ARE NOT TAKING CARE OF POTENTIAL NEW CUSTOMERS. read more

I ordered a replacement phone. Once I got to the store I was told I couldn't because my screen has a very small crack. 2 days later I called customer care and they said I was covered and to go back. While I was still on the phone customer care called the store telling them why they giving me a hard time that I'm covered 100% because I pay insurance. Awesome service! Michael was a great help he was able to fix the issue that the T-Mobile office in Sherman caused and could not fix. Even after numerous calls they said everything was fine and the line was active. We came in to this T-Mobile location and as soon as Michael saw us come in he was attentive and thought of possible ways to help the issue. I had a horrible experience with the manager on site. There was a mistake made by their part and although they admitted fault, they refused to do anything to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service. Never going back to this location and don't recommend anyone to go there. I had to leave the store without protection on my phone and head to another location to see if I could find a solution. Went to the location on Hubbard and my problem got fixed in 5 minutes. My phone was hacked so I lost everything. Before I could get my old yelp acct back, I'll have to use this new acct to write the review. Anyways, I was with T Mobile for a long time until I called their customer service recently. it's horrible. I'm an Asian myself so I understand how bad our English sounds sometimes. But come on, I could barely understood them over the phone. They ended up not only didn't solve my problem but also changed my acct type without my permission. I was so fed up that I switched to Verizon. However, I couldn't get any signals at home and the person at the Verizon store was not helpful at all. Plus, I really like T Mobile's SIM card. I could just pop it out and put in my other phone to use it. You can't do that with Verizon or Spectrum's SIM cards. So I went to this branch to talk to someone in person. The store manager Danny is so knowledgeable and sweet! She helped me switched back. And told me to just come to the store if I have any problems, instead of calling their customer service. So that's exactly what I did today. My situation was pretty complicated since I switched back and forth and I'm upgrading to a different plan now. From prepaid to post pay acct. Joe is the best person you could ask for help in the store. I got a new phone number so the old one is no longer needed. But I wanted to keep it for a while just in case if I forgot to notify someone and they need to reach me. Jo put it on the cheapest possible plan that I didn't even know. He even knows his customers by name. We did run into a glitch. Again, Danny came to help and is absolutely knowledgeable about her stuff. With only a few clicks, sh solved it right away!! She went above and beyond to help me too. When I first switch back, I got charged an activation fee and now I'm being charged an activation fee again since I switched from prepaid to postpaid. Danny couldn't waive the fee but she gave me a credit on my next bill. Please don't waste your time calling T mobile customer service any more. Just come to this store and ask for Joe. He will for sure to help you solve any problems. If he couldn't, just ask for Danny. read more

Went in to add a line and buy a new phone, but I don't think the salesperson wanted to make the sale, I think he was more preoccupied to close up and go home. He deserves a raise for the amount of patience/knowledge he brings forth to a workplace and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Had the worst experience with this store. Had me and my husband going in and out for 2 days and for at the end of the day to get a sorry we can't help you. Would definitely not recommend anybody to go here. They were very polite which I appreciate , but my experience was just frustrating with the fact that they couldn't be straight up since the beginning and say they couldn't help me. Long story short I am on the JOD program I got billed out for my recent phone because my lease was over so since I am on JOD I am able to switch to any phone I want and T-Mobile will payoff my amount due on the recent phone I had and I would start a new lease. As I was in the JOD program I have the right to JOD apparently at the time I went to the store I could no longer jump the Manager Alma somehow did something so in 24 hrs I can Jump with no problem so she mentioned I could go in the next morning and check if maybe they can jump me Kennett apparently couldn't jump me when I went the next morning so since that happened he told me I had to come later that afternoon so as I did I get there and apparently I was able to jump with in the 24 hr time frame that they had given me so pretty much by the time I got there My 24 hr time frame when I could have jumped was over my question is why didn't they... It was so upsetting I eventually had to pay my bill plus my monthly. A lot of money. read more

Even though this franchise branch is close to us, the customer service wasn't helpful at all. Our Samsung S8 suddenly stopped working and when we went in to have them troubleshoot it or possibly replace it - they started backpedaling on a million different reasons why they couldn't replace it in the store. At one point the employee was trying to point out a tiny (almost unseeable) scratch and saying that this would disallow them from taking it. The phone is almost in perfect condition! They wanted us to go visit some corporate store across town. We finally had to call corporate to get a replacement. Lame. read more
